  • Complementaity problem theory developed by Lemke [10], Cottle and Dantzig [8] and others in the early 1960s and thereafter, has numerous applications in diverse fields of mathematical and engineering sciences. And it is closely related to variational inquality theory and fixed point theory. Recently, fixed point methods for the solving of nonlinear complementarity problems were considered by Noor et al. [11, 12]. Also complementarity problems related to variational inequality problems were investigated by Chang [1], Cottle [7] and others.

  • We develop a version of dipolar conformal field theory in a simply connected domain with the Dirichlet-Neumann boundary condition and central charge one. We prove that all correlation functions of the fields in the OPE family of Gaussian free field with a certain boundary value are martingale-observables for dipolar SLE(4).

  • Mathematics has developed dramatically in today's world and come to be increasingly put into practical use in various fields in society. However, many Japanese students dislike mathematics. We have to study mathematics education with this situation in our mind. When we consider a better educational material, we don't have to consider only within the framework of the current school mathematics. We can expect to find good mathematical materials in fields beyond the school mathematics. In this paper, we study how the inclusion of idea such as 'fuzzy theory' and 'graph theory' influences pupils' approaches to learning mathematics.

  • Tor-torsion theory was defined by Jan Trlifaj in 2000. In this paper we introduce the notion of Co envelopes, CoCovers and Tor-generators as dual of envelopes, covers and generators in cotorsion(Ext-torsion) theory and deduce that each R-module has a projective and a cotorsion coprecover.

  • The moduli spaces of stable quasimaps unify various moduli appearing in the study of Gromov-Witten theory. This note is a survey article on the moduli of stable quasimaps, based on papers [9, 11, 18] as well as the author's talk at Kinosaki Algebraic Geometry Symposium 2010.

  • In this survey article, we shall introduce the applications of the theory of reproducing kernels to inverse problems. At the same time, we shall present some operator versions of our fundamental general theory for linear transforms in the framework of Hilbert spaces.

  • This is a summary of results involving the development of a theory of an index of an isolated critical point for densely defined nonlinear operators of type (S(sub)+)(sub)0,L. This index theory is associated with a degree theory, for such operators, whch has been recently developed by the authors.
