  • In this paper, we give a representation formula for an isotropic curve with pseudo arc length parameter and define the structure function of such curves. Using the representation formula and the Frenet formula, the isotropic Bertrand curve and k-type isotropic helices are characterized in the 3-dimensional complex space $\mathbb{C}^3$.

  • We show that some class of spacelike maximal surfaces and timelike minimal surfaces match smoothly across the singular curve of the surfaces. Singular Bj$\"{o}$rling representation formulae for generalized spacelike maximal surfaces and for generalized timelike minimal surfaces play important roles in the explanation of this phenomenon.

  • Throughout this paper, we denote that R is a near-ring and G an R-group. We initiate the study of R-substructures of G, representations of R on G, monogenic R-groups, faithful R-groups and faithful D.G. representations of near-rings. Next, we investigate some properties of monogenic near-ring groups, faithful monogenic near-ring groups, monogenic and faithful D.G. representations in near-rings.

  • Temperley-Lieb algebras had been generalized to web spaces for rank 2 simple Lie algebras which led us to link invariants for these Lie algebras as a generalization of Jones polynomial. Recently, Geer found a new generalization of Jones polynomial for some Lie superalgebras. In this paper, we study the quantum sl(1|1) representation theory using the web space and find a finite presentation of the representation category (for generic q) of the quantum sl(1|1).

  • The purpose of this paper is to show that a certain finite dimensional representation of the rational Cherednik algebra of type A has a basis consisting of simultaneous eigenvectors for the actions of a certain family of commuting elements, which are introduced in the author's previous paper. To this end, we introduce a combinatorial object, which is called a restricted arrangement of colored beads, and consider an action of the affine symmetric group on the set of the arrangements.

  • WebME is an Web-based integrated modeling environment that implements a multi-facetted modeling approach to mathematical model representation and management. Key features of WebME include the following: (i) sharing of modeling knowledge on the Web, (ii) a user-friendly interface for creating, maintaining, and solving models, (iii) independent management of mathematical models from conceptual models, (iv) object-oriented conceptual blackboard concept, (v) multi-facetted mathematical modeling modeling, and (vi) declarative representation of mathematical knowledge. This paper presents details of design and implementation issues that were encountered in the development of WebME.

  • In this paper, we determine the structure of rings that have secondary representation (called representable rings) and give some characterizations of these rings. Also, we characterize Artinian rings in terms of representable rings. Then we introduce completely representable modules, modules every non-zero submodule of which have secondary representation, and give some necessary and sufficient conditions for a module to be completely representable. Finally, we define strongly representable modules and give some conditions under which representable module is strongly representable.
