A globality of the Hopf bifurcation in a free boundary problem for a parabolic partial differential equation is investigated in this paper. We shall examine the global behavior of the Hopf critical eigenvalues and and apply the center-index theory to show the globality.

We are concerned with the robust control problem for the Keller-Segel equations with the distributed control and disturbance. We consider the present problem as a differential game finding the best control which takes into account the worst disturbance. We prove the existence of solutions and the optimality conditions to a corresponding problem.

In this paper we consider the enumeration problem of permutations with partially forbidden positions, generalizing the notion of permutations with forbidden positions. .As an alternative approach to this problem, we investigate the permanent maximization problem over some classes of (0,1)-matrices which have a given number of 1's some of which lie in prescribed positions.

We get one theorem that there exist solutions for the fourth order semi- linear elliptic Dirichlet boundary value problem with fully nonlinear term. We prove this result by the critical point theory and the variation of linking method.
