Although subway system continues to be the backbone of transportation systems in a city like Seoul, there will still be areas across the city where subway services are not avaliable. Interest has steadily grown to fill this missing routes in overall urban transportation system. Light Rail Transit (L.R.T) system has been recently thought to be an appropriate mode of transportation by businessmen, professionals and transportation industry. In this regards, the purpose of this study is to explore whether L.R.T can be a feasible form of urban rail mode in the context of Seoul. First, the study develops the mathematical models to derive optimum route networks and stations. Integer Programming is employed to determine whether alternative routes are financially viable from the viewpoint of revenue maximization principles. Second, mathematical models developed are applied to Yoido area in order to examine the validity of model structures. The models constructed turns out be capable of handling alternative routes and stations. Application of models are successfully carried out to derive financially feasible set of routes and stations.

In this paper, we investigated the influence of technology, which gave an impact on students through the process of teaching & learning for the proof of an additive law of sine function in the mathematics education for the gifted. We chose students who were taking a course in enrichment mathematics at Science Education Institute for the Gifted in Mokpo National University, and analyzed their processes of a mathematical inference or conjecture, an algebraic description and a proof by visualization using technology. We found the following facts. That is, the visualization using technology is helpful to the gifted students in understanding principles and concepts of mathematics by intuition. Also, it is helpful to ones verifying various cases and generalizing principles. But, using technology can be a factor that disturbs learning of students who are clumsy with operating technology.

본 연구의 목적은 수학교육에서 스토티텔링의 의미와 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서의 개발 원리를 문헌을 통해 도출하고, 개발된 교과서의 현장적용 결과를 보고함으로써 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서의 적용가능성을 탐색하려는 것이다. 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서는 학생들이 수학을 흥미 있고 의미 있게 학습할 수 있도록 개발한 교과서이다. 교과서의 학습 효과를 극대화할 수 있도록 개발 원리로 맥락성의 원리, 과정지향성의 원리, 소통의 원리, 다양성의 원리를 제안하였다. 또한 수학 모델 교과서의 적용 가능성을 판단하기 위해 현장적용을 실시하였다. 설문지 분석과 면담분석을 통해 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서가 교수 학습 방법에서 의미 있는 시도이며 수학을 흥미 있게 학습할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서를 개발할 때 고려해야 할 부분에 대한 함의점을 제안하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 스토리텔링 수학 모델 교과서의 유형 중 의사결정형에 초점을 맞추어 의사결정과 스토리텔링에 관한 선행연구를 살펴보고, 조건부 확률 단원을 중심으로 개발한 의사결정형 스토리텔링 수학교과서의 개발 원리 및 개발 사례를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 의사결정에 관한 선행연구들을 종합하여 의사결정의 의미를 정립하고 의사결정에 관련된 주요 단계를 정리하여 스토리텔링이 학생의 의사결정 역량을 개발하는데 기여할 수 있는 교육적 수단으로서 역할을 할 수 있는 방안을 탐색하였다. 구체적으로 의사결정형 스토리텔링 모델 교과서의 개발 원리로 '맥락성의 원리', '과정지향성의 원리', '소통의 원리', '다양성의 원리'를 제시하였다. 내용 전개를 위한 틀에 해당하는 (1) 문제 제기 (2) 수학적 개념 탐구 (3) 문제해결 (4) 판단과 정당화 그리고 (5) 성찰의 다섯 단계로 이루어졌다. 이들 개발 원리와 의사결정 단계가 스토리텔링 모델 교과서 개발에 적용된 사례를 조건부 확률 단원을 중심으로 예시를 통해 서술하였으며 제시하면서 향후 의사결정형 스토리텔링을 적용하는 수학 교과서의 개발 가능성 및 방향에 대하여 탐색할 것이다.

RSA 공개키 암호화 알고리즘에서는 소수, 키 생성, 소인수분해, 오일러 함수, 키 셋업, 합동식과 법, 지수 처리가 응용된다. 이와같은 알고리즘의 토대는 수학원리이다. 수학원리 중에서 첫 번째 개념은 소수를 구하여 응용하는 방법에서 출발한다. 두 개의 매우 큰 소수의 곱을 구하는 것은 용이 하지만 그 곱에서 원래의 두 개의 소수를 역 추적하는 것은 매우 어렵다는 원리를 이용한다. p와 q를 매우 큰 소수라 하면 이 두 개의 곱 $n=p{\times}q$를 구하는 것은 쉽지만 역으로, 합성수인 n에서 p와 q를 추적하는 방법은 거의 불가능하다. RSA 암호화 알고리즘에서는 수학적으로 역함수 계산이 어려운 일방향 함수를 구현하기 위해 자리수가 많은 양의 정수의 소인수 분해 문제를 사용하고 있다. 역 방향으로의 계산을 어렵게 하기 위해 mod의 개념을 소인수 분해 문제에 더해서 사용한다. 암호화에 대한 관심분야는 대개 알고리즘 구현과 사용에 집중되고 있지만 막상 암호 알고리즘을 처음 도입하는 경우에는 어떤 프로세스를 거쳐야 현장 업무에 적용되는지를 알 수 없다. 본 연구는 공개키 알고리즘 속성 진단을 기반으로 한 현장 업무 암호화 적용 프로세스 방안을 제시한다.

우리나라의 초등 수학 교육에서 계산기의 활용을 공식적으로 언급한 것은 제 6차 교육과정이 처음이다. 그 이후 교육과정에서는 초기보다 활용 범위가 확대되었으나 실제 교과서에서 활용 상황을 보면 아직은 미흡하고 활용에 대한 안내는 매우 부족한 편이다. 특히 교육과정의 성취기준에 따른 관련 연구는 찾지 못 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 6차 교육과정 이후의 교육과정 변화 속에서 발표된 계산기 활용에 대한 연구들의 내용을 조사하여 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 2015 개정 초등 수학과 교육과정에서 계산기 활용방안으로 제시한 복잡한 계산, 수학적 개념, 수학적 원리 법칙, 문제해결 지도의 4가지에 대하여 적합한 성취기준을 찾아서, 그 성취기준에 알맞은 교과서의 단원과 차시별 학습내용에서 활용 과정을 제시하여 사용에 도움이 되도록 하였다.

We analyze the possibilities of using Information and Communication Technologies as a resource in the teaching/learning of Mathematics and we show the results of concrete experiments carried out with the games: "Adibu", "La ciudad perdida" and "Drood en el planeta siete", with fourteen students and two primary school teachers in a school in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain). Our analysis of the games is made within a global framework in which individual, cooperative and collaborative learning are considered, taking as reference the theoretical frameworks set out by Piaget, Vygotsky, and the principles of collaborative learning (Computer Supported Collaborative Learning).

This paper introduces three different simulation algorithms of the shifted Poisson distribution. The first algorithm is the inverse transform method, the second is the rejection sampling, and the third is gamma-Poisson hierarchy sampling. Three algorithms have different regions of parameters at which they are efficient. We numerically compare those algorithms with different sets of parameters. As an application, we give a simulation method of the constant elasticity of variance model.

The family of demi-linear mappings between topological vector spaces is a meaningful extension of the family of linear operators. We establish equicontinuity results for demi-linear mappings and develop the usual theory of distributions and the usual duality theory.

It is well-known that the ordinary single-parameter Wiener space exhibits a reflection principle. In this paper we establish a reflection principle for a generalized one-parameter Wiener space and apply it to the integration of a class of functionals on this space. We also discuss several notions of a reflection principle for the two-parameter Wiener space, and explore whether these actually hold.
