공학전공 학생들의 융합역량 증진을 위한 교육프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effect of Education Program for Enhancing Convergence Competence of Undergraduate Engineering Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an educational program to enhance convergence competence of undergraduate engineering students and analyze its educational effects. Prior to the development of the convergence education program for engineering students, 13 experts in engineering education field surveyed the needs of the convergence education program and 829 students from four engineering colleges in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong area and Honam area were assessed for the level of convergence competency. The educational program was developed based on the needs analysis and the program consisted of four major themes: convergence lecture, convergence competence, convergence practice, and convergence vision. The validity of the program was confirmed through the two expert validation tests. A total of 40 students participated in the selection of 10 students from each of the four universities. As a result of pre-post comparison of students' convergence competencies, the average of all competencies increased, and it was found that there were statistically significant differences in convergence mindset, differentiation mind, commitment, communication, and social value competence. Implications for the improvement of education programs and convergence education were suggested.

패밀리 레스토랑에서 브랜드개성이 자아일치성과 브랜드애착에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Brand Personality on Self-Congruence and Brand Attachment in the Family Restaurant)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate thet 5 dimensions of brand personality that could affect brand attachment, and actual and ideal self-congruence in the family restaurant. Also, this study investigated the effects of actual and ideal self-congruence on brand attachment. Questionnaires were given to a sample of customers who visited one of the 4 famous national brands of family restaurants in Daegu. A total of 332 questionnaires were analyzed with SPSS/$PC^+$and LISREL. There were four major empirical research findings. First, sincerity, competence, sophistication and ruggedness affected brand attachment. And second, sincerity, competence and sophistication affected actual self-congruence. Third, sincerity and sophistication affected ideal self-congruence. And fourth, actual self-congruence affected brand attachment. However, the excitement dimension of brand personality did not affect brand attachment,; dimensions of excitement and ruggedness did not affect actual self-congruence,; dimensions of excitement, competence and ruggedness did not affect ideal self-congruence. Also, ideal self-congruence did not affect brand attachment. Based on these findings, marketers of family restaurants were recommended to strengthen the dimensions of sincerity, competence, and sophistication, and to weaken the ruggedness dimension.

소설 기반 STEAM 프로그램 적용과 학생 역량 연구: 창의적 사고, 비판적 사고, 의사소통, 협업, 디지털 역량 (A Study on Students' Creativity Thinking, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Digital Competence by Implementing Science Fiction STEAM Program)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate high school students' competencies of creativity thinking, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and digital competence by implementing science fiction STEAM program. Based on the story of 'Fritz Haber' and the 'Garden of Dawn', a STEAM program was developed according to the ADDIE model. In the analysis stage, the purpose of the teaching-learning program using novels was set, and learners and learning environments were analyzed. At the design stage, the novels 'Fritz Harbor' and 'Garden of Dawn' were selected, learning goals were set according to the achievement standards of the curriculum, and learning contents and learning activities were sequenced and designed. In the development stage, teaching and learning materials were developed in a module format, implemented to classes, and evaluated. Pre-test and post-tests were conducted to identify the five major competencies such as creativity thinking, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, digital competence. The collected data was verified by paired t-test using SPSS. The results of the study showed statistically significant results in creative thinking, critical thinking, and digital competency.

융복합 시대 휴먼서비스분야 전공대학생의 다문화 역량에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multicultural Competence of University Students in the Fields of Human Services for the Era of Fusion and Convergence)

  • 본 연구는 휴먼서비스분야 실천현장에서 요구되는 다문화 역량의 중요성을 강조하면서 다문화에 대한 대학의 교육 실태와 학생들의 다문화 역량에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 분석한 결과, 문화적 역량 수준은 평균 3.49점으로 중간 이상 높은 것으로 나타났다. 외국경험에 있어서는 외국을 방문한 경험을 가지고 있거나 외국에서 거주한 적이 있거나, 외국인 친구가 있거나, 외국어로 의사소통이 가능하다고 응답한 학생들의 문화적 역량이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또 조사대상자의 성별과 전공에 따른 문화적 역량을 비교한 결과, 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 조사결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 해외 자원봉사활동을 적극 지원하고, 다른 문화적 배경을 가진 집단을 위한 국내 자원봉사활동에도 학생들의 참여를 독려할 필요가 있다.

일개 대학 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 전문직 자아개념과 임상수행 능력에 관한 연구 (Critical Thinking Disposition, Professional Self-Concept and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to revealed the association among the clinical performance, self-concept of the nursing profession and critical thinking disposition of nursing students. Methods The subjects were recruited from the university nursing students who was experienced Grade 3 and Grade 4 students. The general characteristics of the subjects were presented with the frequency and percentage. Differences in clinical performance, professional nursing self-concept and critical thinking disposition were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA according to the degree of general characteristics. A significant positive correlation were analyzed from $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test. Multiple regression analysis was used to reveal the effective indexes for Clinical Competence of the subjects. The suitable significance was 0.05 Results Total 318(23 males and 295 females) participants were joined in this study. Critical thinking disposition of the nursing students was significantly different in the university satisfaction, academic record, major satisfaction, satisfaction of clinical practice, relationships with colleagues practice, satisfaction amount of practice(p<0.001). Clinical competence of nursing students was positively associated with critical thinking disposition, professional self-concept and professional self-concept was positively associated with critical thinking disposition. Critical thinking disposition and professional self-concept was significant (F=83.081, p<.001). The higher clinical competence was (${\beta}=.168$, p=.001), the higher professional self-concept was(${\beta}=.051$, p<.001). The explanation power of critical thinking disposition and professional self-concept was 34.5% in clinical competence. Conclusions There is significantly positive correlation among critical thinking disposition, professional self-concept, and clinical performance in the nursing students.

The Effects of Parental Support and Parenting Attitudes of Multicultural Adolescents on School Life and Social Competence

  • 본 연구는 다문화 청소년 패널조사 2기 1차 자료를 활용하여 다문화 청소년 부모의 지지와 양육 태도가 학교생활과 사회적 역량에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 검증하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 2019년 당시 초등학교 4학년이었던 다문화 청소년 2,246명을 분석자료로 활용하였다. 연구 결과 부모의 지지와 부모의 양육 태도가 적극적이고 긍정적일수록 다문화 청소년의 학교생활과 사회적 역량의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 학교생활과 사회적 역량 정도는 성별에 따라 달라지며, 여학생이 남학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 학력에 따른 학교생활 정도는 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나 사회적 역량 정도에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과로 미루어보아 부모의 지지와 양육 태도 방식은 다문화 청소년의 학교생활과 사회적 역량의 정도에 영향을 미치는 교육생태계의 주요 환경 변인이라는 것을 시사한다.

간호대학생의 전공만족도와 간호전문직관이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Major Satisfaction and Nursing Professionalism on Clinical Competence of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 간호전문직관이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시행한 서술적 조사연구이다. 일개 대학 간호학과 4학년 123명을 연구대상자로 선정하였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 2022년 10월부터 12월까지 자료수집을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 T검정, 분산분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 자료분석결과 전공만족도, 간호전문직관 및 임상수행능력은 양적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 전공만족도와 간호전문직관은 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 임상수행능력에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 전공만족도로 나타났으며, 모형의 설명력은 51.9%였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생의 임상수행능력 강화를 위해서는 무엇보다 전공만족도를 높일 수 있는 간호교육과정 개발을 제언한다.

간호대학생의 도덕적자아, 도덕적행동, 자기통제력, 공감, 대인관계능력이 융복합시대의 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Nursing College Students' Moral Self, Moral Behavior, Self-Control, Empathy, and Interpersonal Competence on Nursing Professionalism in Age of Convergence)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 간호전문직관에 영향요인을 파악하여 올바른 간호전문직관 확립을 위한 교육프로그램을 마련하고자 시도되었다. G도 간호대학생 169명이며, 자료수집은 2019년 3월 15일부터 4월 30일이며, IBM SPSS 21.0으로 빈도와 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, Multiple regression를 사용하였다. 도덕적자아는 3.39점, 도덕적행동은 3.72점, 자기통제력은 3.68점, 공감은 3.53점, 대인관계능력은 3.69점, 간호전문직관은 3.90점이었다. 간호전문직관은 자기통제력, 공감, 대인관계능력와 순상관관계가 있었다. 대상자의 간호 전문직관에 영향요인은 전공만족도-만족함(β=.232, p=.002), 공감(β=.222, p=.003), 대인관계능력(β=.178 p=.016)순이었다. 설명력은 18.5%이었다(F=13.69, p<.001). 간호전문직관 향상과 올바른 확립을 위해서는 전공만족도와 공감, 대인관계능력을 증진시킬 수 있는 성격과 학과적응정도를 고려한 맞춤형 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다. 본 연구결과는 간호전문직관 향상을 위한 프로그램마련의 기초자료로 활용될 것이며, 간호전문직관 향상을 확인하는 추가연구에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

흥미-전공일치도와 전공적응 수준에 따른 기본심리욕구의 차이: 공학계열 2학년 대학생을 중심으로 (The Differences of Basic Psychological Needs by Interest-Major Congruence and Major Adjustment in Engineering Sophomore year of University)

  • This study was conducted to explore the major adjustment factors in undergraduates by investigating the characteristics of group which doesn't correspond to Holland's congruence assumption. For this study, 313 sophomore year undergraduates in engineering were surveyed. The results of this study showed as follows. First, the group which doesn't correspond to Holland's congruence assumption represented 16.6% of all. Second, there were significant differences of basic psychological needs among four groups by interest-major congruence and major adjustment. These findings imply that major selection in congruence with interest is not critical and we should also consider basic psychological needs(autonomy, competence, relatedness) for engineering major adjustment.

An Examination of the Effectiveness of Crisis Response Strategies for Repairing Competence and Integrity Violations

  • Product-harm crises, which are connected to defective or dangerous products, are perceived as the most common threats to a company. Product harm crises can distort long standing favorable equality perceptions, tarnish a company's reputation, cause major revenue and market-share losses, lead to costly product recalls, and devastate a carefully nurtured brand equity. However, in spite of the devastating impact of product-harm crises, little systematic research exists to asses its marketing consequences. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate how Koreans react to the crisis response in the aftermath of different crises(competence violation vs. integrity violation) and inspire additional research in crisis communication. This study has three main findings which run counter to the assumptions of Kim et al.(2007). Namely, the current study expands on the research of Kim et al. (2004, 2007) by examining how companies repair customers' trust and corporate attitude after crises. Different from previous studies, this study assumes that apology for an integrity-based crisis is the most appropriate way to repair consumer trust and corporate attitude. As for competence-based crisis, similarly, apology for competence-based crisis can be more successful repairing consumer trust and corporate attitude. Concerning silence strategy, remaining silent dose not admit or deny guilt right away, but instead of asking the perceiver to withhold judgment, suggesting that, silence could be expected to be superior to apology but inferior to denial. Finally, apology for competence violation will be expected to bemore effective than apology for integrity violation. Research conceptual model was as follows: According to the results, apology is found to be the most effective strategy to repair corporate attitude no matter the crisis is perceived as a violation of competence or integrity. Second, company may consider keeping silent as a desirable response because they does not admit nor deny responsibility but ask the public to withhold judgment. However, the result of this study shows that, in the overall crisis situations, silence strategy did not differ significantly from the denial strategy, which suggested that the public wants explanation instead of uncertainty. Third, there was the interaction effect between crisis type and crisis response strategies. In this study, apology is more effective for the competence violated situation in terms of regaining consumer trust and repairing their attitude toward company, while the apology's effectiveness is lower for the integrity-violated situation. More specifically, when the crisis is perceived due to company's lack of ability(competence violation), consumer's trust belief and attitude toward the company is more easily to repair when the company issued a sincere apology. Damaged product is perceived less intentional so participants are more likely to give the company second chance when they apology to the public. By contrast, exaggerated advertisement(integrity violation) is perceived intentionally and thus makes participants angrier toward the accused company. Although apology is perceived as the most effective strategy, when issuing apology, it also means the company admitted their intention. Therefore, in this kind of crisis situation, trust repair needs not only a sincere apology but additional efforts.
