Development of Multi-Sensor Convergence Monitoring and Diagnosis Device based on Edge AI for the Modular Main Circuit Breaker of Korean High-Speed Rolling Stock

  • This is a research thesis on the development of a monitoring and diagnosis device that prevents the risk of an accident through monitoring and diagnosis of a modular Main Circuit Breaker (MCB) using Vacuum Interrupter (VI) for Korean high-speed rolling stock. In this paper, a comprehensive MCB monitoring and diagnosis was performed by converging vacuum level diagnosis of interrupter, operating coil monitoring of MCB and environmental temperature/humidity monitoring of modular box. In addition, to develop an algorithm that is expected to have a similar data processing before the actual field test of the MCB monitoring and diagnosis device in 2023, the cluster analysis and factor analysis were performed using the WEKA data mining technique on the big data of Korean railroad transformer, which was previously researched by Tae Hee Evolution with KORAIL.

Analysis of instrument exercise using IMU about symmetry

  • The purpose of this study is to measure and compare the balance of motion between the left and right using a wearable sensor during upper limb exercise using an exercise equipment. Eight participants were asked to perform upper limb exercise using exercise equipment, and exercise data were measured through IMU sensors attached to both wrists. As a result of the PCA test, Euler Yaw(Left: 0.65, Right: 0.75), Roll(Left: 0.72, Right: 0.58), and Gyro X(Left: 0.64, Right: 0.63) were identified as the main components in the Butterfly exercise, and Euler Pitch(Left: 0.70, Right 0.70) and Gyro Z(Left: 0.70, Right: 0.71) were identified as the main components in the Lat pull down exercise. As a result of the Paired-T test of the Euler value, Yaw's Peak to Peak at Butterfly exercise and Roll's Mean, Yaw's Mean and Period at Lat pull down exercise were smaller than the significance level of 0.05, proving meaningful difference was found. In the Symmetry Index and Symmetry Ratio analysis, 89% of the subjects showed a tendency of dominant limb maintaining relatively higher angular movement performance then non-dominant limb as the Butterfly exercise proceeds. 62.5% of the subjects showed the same tendency during the Lat pull down exercise. These experimental results indicate that meaningful difference at balance of motion was found according to an increase in number of exercise trials.

Aromatherapy Interventions for the Elderly: A Review of Research Trends and Methodologies in Korea

  • This study aims to identify research trends and explore the latest methods of applying aromatherapy to the elderly. The main objective is to provide evidence in support of development of an aromatherapy nursing intervention program for the elderly. This investigation is in the form of a literature review focusing on the current status and trends in research conducted on aromatherapy intervention programs for the elderly in Korea over past decade. Published studies were identified through database such as KCI, RISS, DBpia, NDSL. A total 14 studies were selected for this review. The majority of selected articles fall within the field of nursing. The duration of the programs varied, ranging from less than 20 minutes to over 40 minutes, and consisted of 1 to 6 sessions. Most of methods involved massages using lavender oil in a hospital setting. Outcome variables were categorized into three main domains based on significance: psychological-emotional, interpersonal relationship, and physical-physiological. The variables within each category varied with 4 in psychological-emotional, 1 in interpersonal relationship, and 17 in physical-physiological. This review indicates that aromatherapy intervention programs have positive effects on the elderly and suggests the potential for developing similar interventions on a broader scale within community settings in the future.

한국 웹툰의 참여 문화 연구 - 사용자 생성 이미지를 중심으로 - (A Study on Participatory Culture of Korean Webtoon Focused on User-Generated Images -)

  • 웹툰은 동시대 한국을 대표하는 대중문화 콘텐츠이다. 본 연구에서는 웹툰을 둘러싼 참여 문화의 양상을 살펴보고, 웹툰이 동시대 한국에서 지니는 문화적 함의를 밝히고자 한다. 이때 웹툰의 참여 문화가 사용자 생성 이미지를 중심으로 형성되고 있다는 점에 주목하고 그 재현 양상을 분석한다. 이를 위해 먼저 2장에서는 사용자 생성 이미지가 모방되는 과정을 '밈' 개념을 기반으로 분석한다. 특히 사용자 생성 이미지의 그림과 글이 변이 혹은 복제되는 정도에 따라 이를 '완전 복제형', '부분 변이형', '완전 변이형'의 세 가지 유형으로 분류한다. 사용자들은 이렇게 변용한 이미지를 일상적인 메신저 대화 등에 이식함으로써 하나의 놀이 요소로 사용하고 있다. 3장에서는 이러한 사용자 생성 이미지가 생성되는 과정에서 도출되는 문화적 의미를 밝힌다. 특히 대부분의 사용자 생성 이미지가 원본 웹툰의 주인공을 모방한다는 점에 주목하고, 노스럽 프라이의 문학 양식 이론을 통해 그 근저에 깔린 대중의 욕망을 분석한다. 웹툰의 주된 독자는 한국의 대도시에 살아가는 소시민이며, 사용자 생성 이미지 역시 이러한 평범한 사람들의 일상을 반영하는 방식으로 나타난다. 이처럼 웹툰의 사용자 생성 이미지는 그림이나 글을 복제 및 변이하는 방식으로 원본을 모방하며, 사용자들 사이에서 하나의 유희적 코드로서 소비 및 향유된다. 특히 주인공의 모습을 자기반영적으로 모방함으로써 사용자들의 일상적 공감에 소구한다. 본 연구는 웹툰의 사용자 생성 이미지가 동시대 한국을 살아가는 대중의 욕망을 드러낸다는 점에서 그 문화적 함의를 고찰한다.

읽기문화 활성화를 위한 해외 PR 캠페인 사례 분석 (An Analysis of International PR Campaign Cases for Revitalization of Reading Culture)

  • 본 연구는 읽기문화 활성화를 위해 독서 선진국들이 시행했던 성공적인 PR 캠페인 사례들을 분석하여 우리나라 상황에 적합한 읽기문화 활성화를 위한 PR 캠페인 전략을 제시하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 해외의 성공적인 읽기문화 활성화 PR 캠페인 사례들을 분석하기 위해 본 연구는 유럽, 북미, 남미, 그리고 오세아니아 지역 등에서 성공적인 읽기문화 활성화 PR 캠페인 사례들을 선별하여 연구 대상으로 삼았다. 이와함께, 본 연구는 읽기에 대한 사회적 지지를 확대하고 읽기문화를 우리사회에 확산시키기 위한 효과적인 PR 캠페인 전략 수립을 위한 방안을 도출하기 위해, 선별된 해외 읽기문화 PR 캠페인 사례들을 대상으로 PR 캠페인의 목표와 목적, 전략 전술적 특성, 그리고 장점과 단점들에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 분석 대상으로 선별된 해외 읽기문화 PR 캠페인들은 독특하고 기발한 아이디어를 활용해 언론매체와 독자들의 눈길을 끌어 PR 효과를 극대화 하고 있었으며, 누구나 손쉽게 PR 캠페인에 참여할 수 있도록 편리성을 주요 PR 전략으로 활용하고 있었다. 나아가, 선별된 해외 읽기문화 활성화 PR 캠페인들은 평소에 독서를 좋아하는 독자들을 주 타깃으로 하여 PR 캠페인을 실행함으로써 PR 캠페인의 참여도를 높이고, 일반인들로부터 인기를 끌 수 있는 흥미로운 요소들을 PR 캠페인에 적극 활용하여 공중의 참여를 극대화 하는 특징을 가지고 있었다.

청국장에서 분리한 Bacillus subtilis GS-2에 의한 Poly(γ-Glutamic Acid) 생산의 최적 배양조건 (Influences of Culture Medium Components on the Production Poly (γ-Glutamic Acid) by Bacillus subtilis GS-2 Isolated Chungkookjang)

  • Poly-${\gamma}$-glutamic Acid(${\gamma}$-PGA)를 다량 생산하는 균주를 우리나라의 전통발효식품인 청국장으로부터 Bacillus subtilis GS-2를 분리하였다. 이 균은 glutamic acid 의존형 균으로, 이 균에 의한 ${\gamma}$-PGA 생산 최적 조건을 검토한 바, 단순배지(L-glutamic acid 2.0%, glucose 1.0%, $NH_4Cl$ 0.5%, $KH_2PO_4$ 0.05%, $MgSO_4$ $7H_2O$ 0.01%, pH 7.0)로 진탕배양(220 rpm) 하였을 때, 배양시간 48시간, 최적온도 $33^{\circ}C$, 그리고 초기 pH 6.5로 나타났다. 영양원으로 glutamic acid 3%, sucrose 3%, $NH_4Cl$ 0.25%, $KH_2PO_4$ 0.15%, $MgSO_4$ $7H_2O$ 0.015%에서 ${\gamma}$-PGA 최대 생산량이 31.0 $g/{\ell}$이었다.

'실행공동체' 관점에서 과학교실문화 분석을 위한 조사도구의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of the Measuring Instrument for the Analysis of Science Classroom Culture from the Perspective of 'Community of Practice')

  • 이 연구의 목적은 실행공동체(Community of Practice)의 관점에서 과학교실문화를 분석하기 위한 조사도구를 개발하고 이를 적용하여 그 활용가능성을 확인하는 데 있다. 문헌연구를 통하여 실행공동체의 구조적 요인을 설정하고 요인에 따른 예비문항을 개발하였다. 초등학교 4학년, 6학년, 중학교 2학년 총 219명의 학생들에게 예비조사를 실시하여 문항 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통하여 수정된 도구는 '학습 책임감'(responsibility for learning), '공동의 관심사'(common interest), '호혜적 인간관계'(mutual relationships), '개방적 참여'(open participation), '실행'(practice)의 총 5개 요인 27개 문항으로 구성되었다. 개발된 조사도구를 사용하여 초등학교 4학년과 6학년 학생 총 706명을 대상으로 본 조사를 실시하고 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 조사도구가 타당한 도구임을 확인하였으며, 초등학교 과학교실 공동체의 특성을 구조적 요인별, 학년별, 성별, 교사 특성별로 비교하여 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 개발된 조사 도구는 공동체적 관점에서 과학교실을 분석하는데 활용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 바람직한 과학교실의 공동체를 위한 시사점을 제안할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Effect of Levulinic Acid on the Production of Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) by Ralstonia eutropha KHB-8862

  • The influence of levulinic acid (LA) on the production of copolyester consisting of 3-hydroxybutyrate (3HB) and 3-hydroxyvalerate (3HV) by Ralstonia eutropha was investigated. Addition of LA into the culture medium greatly increased the molar fraction of 3HV in the copolyester, indicating that LA can be utilized as a precursor of 3HV. In shake flask culture, the 3HV content in the copolyester increased from 7 to 75 mol% by adding 0.5 to 4.0 g/L LA to the medium containing fructose syrup as a main carbon source. A maximal copolyester concentration of 3.6 g/L (69% of dry cell weight) was achieved with a 3HV content of 40 mo1% in a jar fermentor culture containing 4.0 g/L of LA. When LA (total concentration, 4 g/L) was added repeatedly into a fermentor culture to maintain its concentration at a low level, the copolyester content and the 3HV yield from LA reached up to 85% of dry cell weight and 5.0 g/g, respectively, which were significantly higher than those when the same concentration of the LA was supplied al1 at once. The present results indicated that LA is more effective than propionate or valerate as a cosubstrate fur the production of copolyesters with varying molar fractions of 3HV by R. eutropha.

나양시대(奈良時代)의 식생활(食生活) (A study on dietary culture in Nara Dynasty in JAPAN)

  • The Nara Dynasty of Japan lasted from 710 to 784 A.D, which corresponds to the period of the Unified Shilla Kingdom of Korea. The Nara Dynasty enacted the 'Daiho Law and Ordinance' by referring to those of Tang Dynasty of China. Under these legal systems, the Ministries were defined, and foods were used for paying taxes or as currency. The characteristics of the dietary culture in Nara Dynasty were as follows. 1) They obtained food from rice and other grain farming, hunting and fishery. Rice was their main staple and was also used for preparing porridge and brewing wine. 2) Under the influence of Buddhism, meat was prohibited, and milks or dairy products were supplemented for improving malnutritional status. 3) They also used seasonings, spices and sweeteners to enhance the taste and produced medicines by extracting plants, animals and minerals. 4) While chopsticks were made of bamboo, willow, silver, shell, tree or bronze, such utensils as pan earthenware steamer, or charcoal pots were used for preparing meals. 5) Highly qualified utensils, made of porcelains painted with lacguetr, metal, glass, horn and stone, were produced as handcraft art wad developed. 6) Chinese style cousines and cooking methods were popular and various types of preserving techniques like drying or salting were used. Processed cookies were also developed. 7) Although flour was used mainly among noble class people, ordinary people also used it. The royal families ate milk products a lot and even fried foods. 8) One can say that Buddism exerted an influence on Vegetarianism from this era.

패션복합문화공간의 문화커뮤니케이션과 쇼핑추구혜택에 관한 연구 (The Study on Cultural Communication and Shopping Benefit in Fashion Cultural Complex Space)

  • This study examined the effects of cultural communication on the fashion distribution type and the shopping benefit in fashion cultural complex space. Surveys period was from Sep. 17th to Sep. 21st in 2012. The Subjects of this study were the young 207 people who had shopping experiences in fashion cultural complex space in their 20s~30s. The data were analyzed by a reliability analysis(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$), factor analysis and regression analysis. The main results of this study were summarized as follows. First, cultural communication in fashion cultural complex space were impacted by cultural brand, cultural display, cultural support and beneficial effect of culture. Second, customers pursued the shopping benefits to get social value, personal pleasure, individual style and economic value. Third, the preference of fashion outlet was effected by cultural brand and cultural display. The beneficial effect of culture and cultural brand influenced on department store preference. The preference of fashion multi-brand shop was impacted by cultural brand, cultural support and beneficial effect of culture. Fourth, cultural communication in fashion cultural complex space had an effect on pursuing shopping benefits. Fifth, customer's demographic characteristics impacted on cultural brand, cultural display and beneficial effect of culture. Especially, these 3 cultural communications were effected by monthly average fashion spending than age/total income.
