In a link-motion mechanism, numerous links are interconnected and each link executes a constrained motion at a high speed. Due to the complicated constrained motions of the constituent links, dynamic unbalance forces and moments are generated and transmitted to the main frame. Therefore unwanted vibration is produced. This degrades productivity and precise work. Based on constrained multi-body dynamics, the kinematic analysis is carried out to enable design changes to be made. This will provide the fundamental information for significantly reducing dynamic unbalance forces and moments which are transmitted to the main frame. In this work, a link-motion punch press is selected as an example of a link-motion mechanism. To calculate the mass and inertia properties of every link comprising a link-motion punch press, 3-dimensional CAD software is utilized. The main issue in this work is to eliminate the first-order unbalance force and moment in a link-motion punch press. The mass, moment of inertia link length, location of the mass center in each link have a great impact on the degree of dynamic balancing which can be achieved maximally. Achieving good dynamic balancing in a link motion punch press is quite essential fur reliable operation at high speed.

In modern warfare, the main factor of triumph is superior situation awareness which leads rapid command decision and precisely guided munition, and TDL(Tactical Data Link) is the main communicational enabler. ROK forces currently operate Link-16 with allied forces and are also developing Korean national data link, Link-K which is also planned to be cooperated with Link-16. Assigning participant and track numbers needs agreement between ROK and allied forces, but ROK forces have exclusive authority in assigning numbers in Link-K. This paper proposes the effective method of exchange participant and track numbers between Link-16 and Link-K, and applicability verification in operational test and evaluation will be also presented.

This paper describes a stability and dynamic characteristics of bearingless helicopter main rotor in hover. Baseline rotor configuration is defined and modal analysis for the configuration is taken to verify the dynamic characteristics. The kinematic pitch-lag couplings through ways of pitch link installation are analyzed to know effects on loads, frequencies and stability. The effects of pitch link attachments in spanwise direction and chordwise direction as well as pitch link inclination on thrust, power, flpa-lag-pitch mode frequencies and inplane damping are examined. Pitch link at trailing edge location in chordwise direction has influence on aeroelastic stability of the rotor. Also, the pitch link with negative inclination angle makes inplane damping increase.

This research is concerned with the validity of a theoretical model that estimates the magnitude of vibration occurring when the flexible two-link structure is activated under control. The structure consists of flexible two-links; the sub link is attached to the end of the main link. The subject is to control flexible two-links and to measure the vibration for each flexible link structure. The result is that the vibration of the main structure affects that of the sub structure, similar to the theoretical outcome.
This paper presents a link layer design of DisplayPort interface with a state machine based on packet processing. The DisplayPort link layer provides isochronous video/audio transport service, link service, and device service. The merged video, audio main link, and AUX channel controller are implemented with 7,648 LUTs(Loop Up Tables), 6020 register, and 821,760 of block memory bits synthesized using a FPGA board and it operates at 203.32MHz.
This paper presents a new single-phase asymmetrical cascaded multilevel DC-link inverter. The proposed inverter comprises two stages. The main stage of the inverter consists of multiple similar cells, each of which is a half-bridge inverter consisting of two switches and a single DC source. All cells are connected in a cascaded manner with a fixed neutral point. The DC source values are not made equal to increase the performance of the inverter. The second circuit is a folded cascaded H-bridge circuit operating at a line frequency. One of the main advantages of this proposed topology is that it is a modular type and can thus be extended to high stages without changing the configuration of the main stage circuit. Two control schemes, namely, low switching with selective harmonic elimination and sinusoidal pulse width modulation, are employed to validate the proposed topology. The detailed approach of each control scheme and switching pulses are discussed in detail. A 150W prototype of the proposed system is implemented in the laboratory to verify the validity of the proposed topology.

This study deals with the traffic accident of arterial link sections in the case of Cheongju. The purpose of the study is to develop the traffic accident model by the function of arterial links. In pursuing the above, this study gives particular attentions to developing the appropriate models using the accident data of main and minor arterial roads divided by 472 small link sections. The main results analyzed are as follows. First, as the t test on the accident characteristics of main and minor arterial roads shows that there are differences in the number of accident and EPDO(equivalent property damage only) between two roads, the development of models by function is analyzed to be appropriate. Second, it is analyzed that ZINB models are all statistically suitable to the number of accident and EPDO of main arterial roads. Third, the analysis shows that EPDOs of minor arterial roads fit to ZINB, and the number of the accident fit to ZIP model. Finally, the common variables of main arterial roads are evaluated to be the traffic volume and the number of inflection point, and those of minor be the average grade.

DC-link capacitors are one of the main components in two-level three-phase voltage source inverters (VSIs); they provide the pulsating input current and stabilize the vacillating DC-link voltage. Ideally, the larger the capacitance of DC-link capacitors, the better the DC-link voltage stabilizes. However, high capacitance increases the cost and decreases the power density of VSI systems. Therefore, the capacitance should be chosen carefully on the basis of the DC-link voltage ripple requirement. However, the DC-link voltage ripple is dependent on the pulse-width modulation (PWM) strategy. This study especially presents a DC-link voltage ripple analysis when the minimum loss discontinuous PWM strategy is applied. Furthermore, an equation for the selection of the minimum capacitance of DC-link capacitors is proposed. Experimental results with R-L loads are also provided to verify the effectiveness of the presented analysis.
This study deals with the accident model of arterial link section in Cheongju. The objective is to develop the accident model of arterial link section using the logistic regression. In pursuing the above, the study uses the 258 accident data occurred at the 322 arterial link section. The main results are as follows. First, Nagellerke $R^2$ of developed accident model is analyzed to be 0.309 and t-values of variable that explains goodness of fit are evaluated to be significant. Second, the variables adopted in the model are AADT, the number of exit and entry. These variables are all analyzed to be statistically significant. Finally, the analysis of correct classification rate shows that the total accident of correct classification rate is analyzed to be 72.7% at the arterial link section.
