  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of the statistically complete fuzzy norm on a linear space. And we consider some relations between the fuzzy statistical completeness and ordinary completeness on a linear space.

  • In this paper, we investigate the relations between the growth of meromorphic coefficients and that of meromorphic solutions of complex linear differential-difference equations with meromorphic coefficients of finite logarithmic order. Our results can be viewed as the generalization for both the cases of complex linear differential equations and complex linear difference equations.

  • This paper examined the relations among the multidimensional linear interpolation(MDI) and fuzzy reasoning , and neural networks, and showed that an showed that an MDI is a special form of Tsukamoto's fuzzy reasoning and regularization networks in the perspective of fuzzy reasoning and neural networks, respectively. For this purposes, we proposed a special Tsukamoto's membership (STM) systemand triangular basis function (TBF) networks, Also we verified the condition when our proposed TBF becomes a well-known radial basis function (RBF).

  • This research has been performed to estimate the hunting motion hysteresis of railway passenger cars. An old and a new car with almost same structure are chosen as analysis models. To solve effectively a set of simultaneous equations of motion strongly coupled with creep relations, shooting algorithm in which the nonlinear relations are regarded as a two-point boundary value problem is adopted. The bifurcation theory is applied to the dynamic analysis to distinguish differences between linear and nonlinear critical speeds by variation of parameters. It is found that there are some factors and their operation area to make nonlinear critical speed respond to them more sensitivity than linear critical speed. Full-scale roller rig tests are carried out for the validation of the numerical results. Finally, it is concluded that the wear of wheel profile and the stiffness discontinuities of wheelset suspension caused by deterioration have to be considered in the analysis to predict hysteresis of critical speed precisely.

  • This study analyzes the relations between perceived family characteristics, experienced abuse and mental health in childhood. For this, this study used row data by questionnaire, analysis, and frequency, ANOVA, t - Test, Pearson' correlation analysis. The sample was 118 children 10-12 years old in primary school. The findings are as follows. First, children perceived family cohesion and family adaptability highly, family adaptability showed a significant difference from the relations with a parent's job, a parent's academic level, and type of residence. Second, it appeared that some children experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Third, in general the mental health of children was good. Their mental health showed a significant relation to economic level of family, and type of residence, creating problems such as depression, anxiety, phobic anxiety, psychoticism. By family size, their mental health showed a significant relation to somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, phobic anxiety, paranoid ideation, and psychoticism, Fourth, family cohesion and mental health perceived by children supported a linear relation to phobic anxiety, and family adaptability and mental health perceived by children supported the reverse -linear relation to somatization, anxiety, paranoid ideation, etc. Fifth, connections with perceived abuse and mental health as well as emotional abuse and mental health were also supported. Further more, on somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, phobic anxiety, paranoid ideation, psychoticism, etc, a reverse-linear re lation existed. Physical abuse supported a reverse-linear relation with interpersonal sensitivity, depression, paranoid ideation, etc. and sexual abuse supported a reverse-linear relation with depression. These findings suggest that school and family have to concern themselves with the mental health of children because experienced abuse and family characteristics do indeed affect the mental health of children.

  • In this paper, we propose a new stability criterion and a controller design method for switched linear systems. The proposed stability criterion is applicable to each subsystem independently without the need to consider the overall system. The controller can be easily designed through geometric relations between eigenvalues of each subsystem matrix. The proposed methods provide a systematic and simple pole assignment approach for switched linear systems. Illustrative examples are given.

  • In this paper, we obtain the enumeration results on the number of linear extensions of diamond posets. We find the recurrence relations and exponential generating functions for the number of linear extensions of diamond posets. We also get some results for the volume of graph polytope associated with bipartite graphs which are underlying graphs of diamond posets.

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the degree of appearance stress, ego-resilience, interpersonal relations, depression, and eating attitude and to investigate the main factors influencing eating attitude in women undergraduates. Methods: The research design was a descriptive survey design using a convenience sampling. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires from 238 women undergraduates. Data analyses were done using SPSS/WIN 18.0 program for descriptive statistics, t-test and multiple linear regression. Results: The mean score for eating attitude was 0.36. There were statistically significant differences in appearance stress and interpersonal relations according to type of eating attitude. Also, appearance stress, interpersonal relations, and depression were significant predictors explaining 39% of the variance in eating attitude. Conclusion: The results indicate that the factors influencing eating attitude should be considered when developing nursing interventions to change poor eating attitude for women undergraduates.
