EQUIVALENCE CONDITIONS OF SYMMETRY PROPERTIES IN LIGHTLIKE HYPERSURFACES OF INDEFINITE KENMOTSU MANIFOLDS

  • The paper deals with lightlike hypersurfaces which are locally symmetric, semi-symmetric and Ricci semi-symmetric in indefinite Kenmotsu manifold having constant $\bar{\phi}$-holomorphic sectional curvature c. We obtain that these hypersurfaces are totally goedesic under certain conditions. The non-existence condition of locally symmetric lightlike hyper-surfaces are given. Some Theorems of specific lightlike hypersurfaces are established. We prove, under a certain condition, that in lightlike hyper-surfaces of an indefinite Kenmotsu space form, tangent to the structure vector field, the parallel, semi-parallel, local symmetry, semi-symmetry and Ricci semi-symmetry notions are equivalent.

  • In this paper, we study the geometry of lightlike hypersurfaces of a semi-Riemannian manifold. We prove a classification theorem for Einstein lightlike hypersurfaces M of a Lorentzian space form subject such that the second fundamental forms of M and its screen distribution S(TM) are conformally related by some non-vanishing smooth function.

  • This paper is devoted to study Ricci semi-symmetric lightlike hypersurfaces of an indefinite cosymplectic space form with structure vector field tangent to hypersurface. The condition for Ricci tensor of lightlike hypersurface of indefinite cosymplectic space form to be semi-symmetric and parallel have been obtained. An example of non-totally geodesic Ricci semi-symmetric lightlike hypersurface in $R^7_2$ have been given.

  • In this paper, we study lightlike hypersurfaces M of semi-Riemannian manifolds $\bar{M}$ of quasi-constant curvatures. Our main result is a characterization theorem for screen homothetic Einstein lightlike hypersurfaces of a Lorentzian manifold of quasi-constant curvature subject such that its curvature vector field ${\zeta}$ is tangent to M.

  • We provide a study of lightlike hypersurfaces of a generalized Robertson-Walker (GRW) space-time. In particular, we investigate lightlike hypersurfaces with curvature invariance, parallel second fundamental forms, totally umbilical second fundamental forms, null sectional curvatures and null Ricci curvatures, respectively.

  • In this paper, we investigate k-Ricci curvature and k-scalar curvature on lightlike hypersurfaces of a real space form ${\tilde{M}}$(c) of constant sectional curvature c, endowed with semi-symmetric non-metric connection. Using this curvatures, we establish some inequalities for screen homothetic lightlike hypersurface of a real space form ${\tilde{M}}$(c) of constant sectional curvature c, endowed with semi-symmetric non-metric connection. Using these inequalities, we obtain some characterizations for such hypersurfaces. Considering the equality case, we obtain some results.

  • In this paper, we study the geometry of lightlike real hyper-surfaces of an indefinite Kaehler manifold. The main result is a characterization theorem for lightlike real hypersurfaces M of an indefinite complex space form $\bar{M}(c)$ such that the screen distribution is totally umbilic.

  • In the present paper, screen isotropic leaves on lightlike hypersurfaces of a Lorentzian manifold are introduced and studied which are inspired by the definition of isotropic immersions in the Riemannian context. Some examples of such leaves are mentioned. Furthermore, some relations involving curvature invariants are obtained.
