On D-admissibility Conditions of Singular Systems

  • In this paper, we first establish $D_L$-admissibility and $D_R$-admissibility conditions for singular systems. The admissibility conditions expressed as Lyapunov type inequalities extend the existed results of normal systems to singular systems. As special cases the admissibility conditions of the continuous-time and the discrete-time singular systems can be obtained directly. The results established in this paper can be applied to solve the problems of eigenvalue assignment, regional pole-placement and robust control etc.

  • We propose a nonlinear observer design method for traffic control systems based on T-S fuzzy approach. We parameterize the observer gains in terms of the solution matrices of LMIs. We also give a simple algorithm to compute the observer gain matrices. Finally we give simulation results to show the effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy observer design method.

  • In recent years, many studies have been conducted on fuzzy control since it can surpass the conventional control in several respects. In this paper, numerical stability analysis methodology for the singleton-type linguistic fuzzy control systems is proposed. The Proposed stability analysis is not the analytical method but the numerical method using the convex optimization technique of Quadratic Programming (QP) and Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI).

  • In recent years, many studies have been conducted on fuzzy control since it can surpass the conventional control in several respects. In this paper, a novel approach to the stability analysis of the continuous-time affine Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy control system is proposed. The suggested analysis method is easily implemented by the recently spotlighted convex optimization techniques called Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI).

  • This paper deals with a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach to the design of a PID controller for an attraction type magnetic levitation system. First, we convert the $H_ {\infty}$ PID controller problem into a static output feedback problem. We then solve the static output problem by using the recently developed penalty function method. Numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, we provide an approach of controller synthesis for input-saturated linear systems by a linear parameter varying (LPV) framework. Using directly the saturation nonlinearity as scheduling parameters, we propose an LPV-stabilizer with parameter-dependent dynamic state-feedback controller concept. Especially, the synthesis conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be solved very efficiency.

  • This paper propose a new delay-dependent stability criterion of neutral time-delay systems. By employing double-integral terms in augmented states and constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii's functional, a delay-dependent stability criterion is established in terms of Linear Matrix Inequality. Through numerical examples, the validity and improvement results obtained by applying the proposed stability criterion will be shown.

  • In Part 1, we derived robust stability conditions for an LTI interconnected to time-varying nonlinear perturbations belonging to several classes of nonlinearities. These conditions were presented in terms of positive definite solutions to LMI. In this paper we address a problem of synthesizing feedback controllers for linear time-invariant systems under structured time-varying uncertainties, combined with a worst-case H$_{2}$ performance. This problem is introduced in [7, 8, 15, 35] in case of time-invariant uncertainties, where the necessary conditions involve highly coupled linear and nonlinear matrix equations. Such coupled equations are in general difficult to solve. A convex optimization approach will be employed in this synthesis problem in order to avoid solving highly coupled nonlinear matrix equations that commonly arises in multiobjective synthesis problem. Using LMI formulation, this convex optimization problem can in turn be cast as generalized eigenvalue minimization problem, where an attractive algorithm based on the method of centers has been recently introduced to find its solution [30, 361. In the present paper we will restrict our discussion to state feedback case with Popov multipliers. A more general case of output feedback and other types of multipliers will be addressed in a future paper.

어핀 Takagi-Sugeno 퍼지 제어 시스템의 안정도에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Stability of Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Control System)

  • 본 논문에서는 연속 어핀 Takagi-Sugeno 퍼지 시스템의 안정도를 판정하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 최근 각광을 받고 있는 선형 행렬 부등식이라는 컨벡스 최적화 기법을 이용하여 쉽게 구현할 수 있다. 우선 어핀 Takagi-Sugeno 퍼지 시스템이 안정하도록 되는 조건을 유도하고 이를 선형 행렬 부등식의 형태로 변형하고 수치적 접근방식을 제안한다. 끝으로 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법의 타당성을 확인한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 폴리토픽 불확실성을 가지는 이산시간 변수종속 특이시스템에 대한 저차(low order)의 변수종속 차수축소 강인 $H_{\infty}$ 필터 설계기법을 제안한다. 먼저, 변수종속 특이시스템에 대한 유계 실수정리(bounded real lemma)를 변수종속 리아푸노프 (Lyapunov) 함수로부터 유도한다. 유계 실수정리로부터 폴리토픽 기법과 새로운 차수축소 기법을 이용하여 저차의 강인 $H_{\infty}$ 필터 설계방법을 볼록최적화가 가능한 선형행렬부등식 접근방법을 이용하여 제시한다. 따라서 제안하는 변수종속 차수축소 강인 $H_{\infty}$ 필터 설계방법은 미리 정한 차수의 $H_{\infty}$ 필터를 제공한다. 수치예제를 통하여 제시한 저차의 필터 설계방법의 타당성을 보인다.
