  • By using the decreasing rearrangement of nonoverlapping subintervals of a closed bounded intervals and L.C.young's series for two ø-sequences we obtain some results concerning Riemann-Stieltijes integrals of functions of $\textsc{k}{\phi}-bounded$ variations.

  • We use a semi-variational method to obtain necessary condition for a linear functional L to attain its extrema at certain elementary products. This is applied to obtain an answer to the long-standing question of determining explicit extreme points of the normalised Spirallike functions of order $\alpha$.

  • We study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions concerning nonlinear differential polynomials sharing a nonzero polynomial IM. Though the main concern of the paper is to improve a recent result of the present author [12], as a consequence of the main result we also generalize two recent results of X. M. Li and L. Gao [11].

  • Many optimization problem or multiple attribute, multiple alternative decision making problem may have fuzzy evaluation factors. In this case, fuzzy number operation technique is needed to evaluate and compare object functions which become fuzzy sets. Generally, fuzzy number operations can be defined by extension principle of fuzzy set theory, but it is tedious to do fuzzy number operations by using extension principle when the membership functions are defined by complex functions. Many fast methods which approximate the membership functions such as triangle, trapezoidal, or L-R type functions are proposed. In this paper, a fast fuzzy number operation method is proposed which do not simplify the membership functions of fuzzy numbers.

  • In the paper we establish some new results depending on the comparative growth properties of composite entire and meromorphic functions using relative $_pL^*-order$, relative $_pL^*-lower$ order and differential monomials, differential polynomials generated by one of the factors.

  • A. Di Nola & S.Sessa [8] showed that two compact spaces X and Y are homeomorphic iff the MV -algebras C(X, I) and C(Y, I) of continuous functions defined on X and Y respectively are isomorphic. And they proved that A is a semisimple MV -algebra iff A is a subalgebra of C(X) for some compact Hausdorff space X. In this paper, firstly by use of functorial argument, we show these characterization theorems. Furthermore we obtain some other functorial results between topological spaces and MV -algebras. Secondly as a classical problem, we find a necessary and sufficient condition on a given residuated l-monoid that it is segmenently embedded into an l-group with order unit.

  • In this paper we present the $L^2$-estimation for the kernel $K_n$ of the remaider term for the Gaussian quadrature with respect to one of four Chebyshev weight functions and the error bound of the type on the contour $$ $\mid$R_n(f)$\mid$ \leq \frac{2\pi}{\sqrt{l(\Gamma)}} max_{z\in\Gamma}$\mid$f(z)$\mid$ (\smallint_\Gamma $\mid$K_n(z)$\mid$^2$\mid$dz$\mid$)^\frac{2}{1}, $$ where $l(\Gamma)$ denotes the length of the contour $\Gamma$.

  • We prove that if a graph G of bounded degree has finitely many p-hyperbolic ends($1) in which every bounded energy finite p-harmonic function is asymptotically constant for almost every path, then the set $\mathcal{HBD}_p(G)$ of all bounded energy finite p-harmonic functions on G is in one to one corresponding to $\mathbf{R}^l$, where $l$ is the number of p-hyperbolic ends of G. Furthermore, we prove that if a graph G' is roughly isometric to G, then $\mathcal{HBD}_p(G')$ is also in an one to one correspondence with $\mathbf{R}^l$.
