In this paper we prove that every Jordan $\theta$-derivation on a Lie triple system is a $\theta$-derivation. Specially, we conclude that every Jordan derivation on a Lie triple system is a derivation.

We prove some theorems showing that a right Jordan ideal or a left Jordan ideal of a 3-prime near-ring must be commutative if it admits a nonzero derivation acting as a homomorphism or an antihomomorphism. Moreover, we give examples proving necessity of the conditions given.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer globally. In Jordan, it is the number one cancer among men and the second most common cancer among women, accounting for 15% and 9.4% respectively of all male and female diagnosed cancers. This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge and perceptions about colorectal cancer risk factors, signs and symptoms in Jordan and to provide useful data about the best modes of disseminating preventive messages about the disease. Materials and Methods: A stratified clustered random sampling technique was used to recruit 300 males and 300 females aged 30 to 65 years without a previous history of CRC from four governorates in Jordan. A semi-structured questionnaire and face to face interviews were employed. Descriptive and multivariate analysis was applied to assess knowledge and perceptions about CRC. Results: Both males and females perceived their CRC risk to be low. They had low knowledge scores about CRC with no significant gender association (P=0.47). From a maximum knowledge score of 18 points, the median scores of males and females were 4 points (SD=2.346, range 0-13) and 4 points (SD=2.329, range 0-11) respectively. Better knowledge scores were associated with governorate, higher educational level, older age, higher income, having a chronic disease, having a family history of CRC, previously knowing someone who had CRC and their doctor's knowledge about their family history of CRC. Conclusions: There is a low level of knowledge about CRC and underestimation of risk among the study participants. This underlines the need for public health interventions to create awareness about the illness. It also calls for further research to assess the knowledge and perceptions about CRC early detection examinations in Jordan.

1986년부터 1991년까지 우리나라 연안에서 채집된 베도라치아목 Blennioidei과 등가시치아목 Zoareoidei의 어류 표본을 대상으로 분류학적으로 재검토하였다. 베도라치아목 어류는 먹베도라치과 Tripterygiidae의 가막베도라치 Enneoptewgius etheostomus(Jordan et Snyder) , 비늘 베도라친과 Labrisomidae의 비늘베도라치 감eoclinus bwope(4ordan et Snyder) , 그리고 청 베도라치과 B1enniidae의 청베도라치 Pictiblennius yotobei(Jordan et Snyder), 저울베도라치Entomacrodus stellifer lighti(Herre), 대강베도라치 Istibfennius enosimae(Jordan et Snyder), 앞동갈베도라치 Omobranchus elrgons(Steindachner), 골베도라치 O. punctatus (Valenciennes) 및 두줄베도라치 Petroscines breuiceps(Valenciennes)의 7속 8종으로 분류되었다. 이 가운데 N. bwope의 표본은 우리나라에서는 본 조사기간 중 제주도 연안에서 처음으로 확인되어 한국 미기록종으로 보고한다. 한편 등가시치아목의 어류는 등가시치란 Zoarcidae의 벌레문치 Lycodes tanakoi Jordan et Thompson, 먹갈치 Lycodes nakamurai Tanaka, 등가시치 Zoarces gilrii Jordan et Starts, 실베도라치 Zoarchias aculeatus( Basilewsky), 우베도라치 Zoarchias uchidai Matsubara, 민베도라치 Zoarchias glaber Tanaka, 얼룩가시치 Neozoarces pulcher Steindachner, 칠성갈치 Petroschmidtia toyamensis Katayama, 자갈치 Gvmnelopsis brashnikoui Soldatov, 문자갈치 Dauidijordania poecilimon(Jordan et Fowler) 및 청자갈치 Allolepis hollandi Jordan et Hubbs, 장갱이란 Stichaeidae의 세줄베도라치 식nogrammus hewagrammus(Temminck et Schlegel), 장갱이 Stichaeus grigorjemi Her\ulcornerenstein, 왜도라치 Chri'olophis wui(Wang et Wang ) , 괴도라치 Chirolophis joponicus(Jordan et snyder) , 벼슬베도라치 각ectrias benjamini Jordan et Snyder, 가시베도라치 Lumpenella nigricons Matsubara, 육점날개 Ophistocentws zonope jordan et Snyder, 그물베도라치 Dictyosoma burgeri Van der Hoeven 및 황점 베도라치Dictyosoma wbrimaculata Yatsu, Yasuda et Taki, 그리고 황줄베도라치란 Pholididae의 황줄베도라치 Phoris taczanowskii(Steindachner), 오색베도라치 Phoris omotus (Girad), 베도라치 Pholis nebuloso(Temminck et Schlegel), 횐베도라치 Pholisfangi(Wang et Wang) 및 점베도라치 Pholis crossispino(Temminck et Schlegel)의 17속 25종이 분류되었다. 이중에서 Zoarchias glaber, Chirofophis oui, Alectrias benjamini, Dictyosoma mbrimaculamia 및 Pholis crassispina의 5종은 한국 미기록종으로 보고한다. 아울러 이들 미기록종을 포함한 한국산 베도라치아목과 등가시치아목 어류의 속 .종 검색선 와 종별 사진을 제시하고, 이들 표본을 근거로 하여 형태적 특징, 계수계측치, 채집지 및 서식처를 기록하였으며, 이들의 분류학적 위치에 대해 논의하였다. 우리나라에 출현하는 베도라치아권의 어류는 거의 대부분이 제주도 연안과 서남해 연안에 제한분포하는데, 등가시치아목의 어류는 주로 동해연안에서 많은 종이 출현하고 있어서 동물지리학적으로 주목된 다.

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum attacks most of the vegetable crops in the Jordan valley. Twenty-five samples/isolates were obtained in a complete coverage of that region. They were characterized for their mycelium incompatibility, and specific gene amplified using the primer SSREV/SSFWD. All isolates gave similar single band around 278 bp. Thirteen isolates were completely incompatible with the other 12 ones. The latter ones fell into four subgroups of mycelium incompatibility. RAPD analysis using three primers (OPA-2, OPA-10, and OPA-18) clustered the 25 isolates into subgroups in agreement with their morphological separation, indicating close correlation between amplified gene(s) and the gene(s) of incompatibility. All highly virulent isolates were among the group of 13, indicating a well established genomic type pathogen in this region.

We first give the constructions of (Jordan) higher derivations on a trivial extension algebra and then we provide some sufficient conditions under which a Jordan higher derivation on a trivial extension algebra is a higher derivation. We then proceed to the trivial generalized matrix algebras as a special trivial extension algebra. As an application we characterize the construction of Jordan higher derivations on a triangular algebra. We also provide some illuminating examples of Jordan higher derivations on certain trivial extension algebras which are not higher derivations.

In this note, we obtain range inclusion results for left Jordan derivations on Banach algebras: (i) Let $\delta$ be a spectrally bounded left Jordan derivation on a Banach algebra A. Then $\delta$ maps A into its Jacobson radical. (ii) Let $\delta$ be a left Jordan derivation on a unital Banach algebra A with the condition sup{r$(c^{-1}\delta(c))$ : c $\in$ A invertible} < $\infty$. Then $\delta$ maps A into its Jacobson radical. Moreover, we give an exact answer to the conjecture raised by Ashraf and Ali in [2, p. 260]: every generalized left Jordan derivation on 2-torsion free semiprime rings is a generalized left derivation.

H. R. Ebrahimi Vishki et al. conjectured in [1], that if every Jordan higher derivation on a trivial generalized matrix algebra $\mathcal{G}=(A,M,N,B)$ is a higher derivation, then either M = 0 or N = 0. In this note, we will give a class of counter examples.

We show that every $\varepsilon-approximate$ Jordan functional on a Banach algebra A is continuous. From this result we obtain that every $\varepsilon-approximate$ Jordan mapping from A into a continuous function space C(S) is continuous and it's norm less than or equal $1+\varepsilon$ where S is a compact Hausdorff space. This is a generalization of Jarosz's result [3, Proposition 5.5].
