In recent years, international migration of professional workers is significantly increasing as globalization has been deepened more and more. South Korea is not an exception for this case. Immigration of professional workers have steadily increased since 2000 in Korea, and the number reached approximately to 50,000 in 2009. In addition, it is a major trend that immigrants of short-sojourn are decreasing and ones of long-sojourn increasing. Our research shows that foreign language instructor has the greatest number of foreign professional immigrants. The next is professional immigrants related to business-activities. There are considerably entertainers, but they have greatly decreased since 2003. Majority of foreign professional immigrants settle down in a few metropolises. Especially, they reside in Seoul Metropolitan Area and Southeast coastal region. Professional immigrants trend to do with Korean on the base of their offices rather than residental communities in terms of adaptation, and they do not have strong will to reside permanently in Korea. Moreover, they are located at a blind spot of Korean government's foreign immigrant policy, comparing to foreign workers and female marriage immigrants.

The purpose of this study was to conduct a course entitled 'Teaching practice' applying Problem Based Learning(hereafter PBL) for perspective Home Economics teachers to explore the applicability of PBL to the course. A course entitled 'Teaching practice' was carried out for 17 undergraduate students from the 2nd of March till 11th of June in 2014. Pre- and post-tests to measure teacher disposition were performed to investigate the effectiveness of the course applying PBL. Three questions for PBL were developed, were determined after obtaining verification of the questions from 5 experts, and were used for the course entitled 'Teaching practice'; Developing teaching-learning plan, establishing plan for homeroom class management, and designing assessment of Technology & Home Economics. The processes of PBL include defining the problem, planning problem solutions, reassessing the problem, identifying possible solutions, and performance presentation. Procedures for solving one problem of PBL took 4 weeks and teacher disposition assessment for effectiveness of PBL was carried out for pre- and post tests. The reflection journal showed that even though it was their first experience of PBL, instructor's feedback, group activities, and individual activities were helpful for solving the problems of PBL. The result of dependent t-test for paired samples revealed significant differences between the pre- and post tests, which means that there was effectiveness of the course applying to PBL on teacher disposition of prospective Home Economics teachers.

This research aims is to confirm the influence of a teacher's teaching style and teaching career on instructional analysis. Through this, the differences in the relevant elements' view points on a class and those in teachers' analysis view points on class criticism and instructional analysis at the education field can be investigated. For this study, the teaching styles of 198 elementary school teachers were categorized, their teaching careers were checked as teaching career and set them as covariate, and the differences in the view points on the analysis of the class climates were verified depending on each teaching style. As the research result, meaningful differences were found in four areas of the elements of class climates analysis, that is, creativity, vitality, precision, and gentleness. In the analysis of the class climates, the teachers with a professional style among the teaching styles gave the highest grades to creativity in the same class, those with a facilitating style to vitality, those with a role model style to precision, and those with a facilitating and role model style to gentleness. On the other hand, those with an authoritative and a delegating style were proved to give the lowest grades in general class climates. It means that teachers with different teaching styles have different viewpoints when analyzing a class, and those with a professional, a role model and a facilitating style have a relatively stronger intention to analyze a class through reflective introspection and permissive recognition.

The goal of this study is to develop a hands-on type polar field trip program to inform the importance of the recent polar research and to contribute to the spread of polar science culture. For this purpose, the direction of program development and field trip course were established based on the current Korea Polar Research Institute tour program and research exhibition facilities analysis. Based on this, a total of 6 types field trip programs were developed, including one basic tour program and one optional experience program for the overall introduction of polar research institutes and polar science fields, and four optional experience programs for each education participant that enables field trips and professional experiential learning activities by polar science field. The developed program was revised and supplemented through a total of two trials, and a field trip program manual was produced, including guidance scripts, experience kits, activity sites, and instructor guides for each field trip. At the end, a follow-up study was proposed based on the significance and research results of the developed program.
Problem posing in school mathematics is generally regarded to make a new problem from contexts, information, and experiences relevant to realistic or mathematical situations. Also, it is to reconstruct a similar or more complicated new problem based on an original problem. The former is called as problem generation and the latter is as problem reformulation. The purpose of this study was to explore the co-relation between problem generation and problem reformulation, and the educational effectiveness of each problem posing. For this purpose, on the subject of 33 pre-service secondary school teachers, this study developed two types of problem posing activities. The one was executed as the procedures of [problem generation${\rightarrow}$solving a self-generated problem${\rightarrow}$reformulation of the problem], and the other was done as the procedures of [problem generation${\rightarrow}$solving the most often generated problem${\rightarrow}$reformulation of the problem]. The intent of the former activity was to lead students' maintaining the ability to deal with the problem generation and reformulation for themselves. Furthermore, through the latter one, they were led to have peers' thinking patterns and typical tendency on problem generation and reformulation according to the instructor(the researcher)'s guidance. After these activities, the subject(33 pre-service teachers) was responded in the survey. The information on the survey is consisted of mathematical difficulties and interests, cognitive and affective domains, merits and demerits, and application to the instruction and assessment situations in math class. According to the results of this study, problem generation would be geared to understand mathematical concepts and also problem reformulation would enhance problem solving ability. And it is shown that accomplishing the second activity of problem posing be more efficient than doing the first activity in math class.

The purpose of this study was to provide information for making positive interpersonal relations by understanding the degree of difficulties of interpersonal relations that physical therapist students may have on clinical practice. The survey results of 175 students who completed clinical practice for the first term of 2003. The survey was conducted through mail or e-mail between July 20 and August 20, 2003. The data were analyzed frequency, percentage, t-test, and one-way ANOVA using the SPSS/PC Ver. 10.0 (${\alpha}=0.05$). The results were as follows; 1. The mean score for the level of points interpersonal relations was 41.06 points in full 80 points. Therefore most students had a little problem on interpersonal relations. 2. More difficulties of interpersonal relations were felt by students in the following order; clinical instructors, patients, other students, and other department staffs in the hospital. 3. Between students and clinical physical therapist in the hospital, most students were satisfied with a instructor's attitude toward there (61.1%). 4. Between students and other department staffs in the hospital, most students were felt convenient when faced with other staffs(61.8%). 5. Between students and patients in the hospital, most students didn't uncomfortable when they made a rapport(69.2%). 6. Between students and other college students, most students were didn't inconvenient when they were practicing together(69.8%). 7. The students with higher marks in major felt more difficulties for forming personal relations with other department staffs in hospital, patient, and other students(p<0.05). 8. The students showed more felt inconveniences over 8 weeks practicing than below 7 weeks itperiods of clinical practice(p<0.05). 9. The number of practice place were significantly difference according to relation of patients, other college students(p<0.05). More less practice place were made difficult of interpersonal relations. The further studies would be made in viewpoints to clinical instructors, patients, students, others department staffs in the hospital so that we could compare our results with theirs.
This study aims to propose efficient way to operate the security guarding system from the perspective of administration, policy, law, institution and operation as to the private security guarding system as the Korean security guarding system needs multifaced analysis and measure to ensure efficient operation. The growth strategy has to be restructured and segmentation market needs to be driven in order to cope with the changing conditions of company from the perspective of administration. And private security guarding service companies must refrain from excessive competition while improving the contracting method such as minimum price bidding, etc. From the perspective of policy, the functions of relevant organizations such as the National Police Agency, security association, etc, and mutual cooperation must expand. Also, the profit generation event needs to be privatized and the more positive perception toward the private security guarding service is necessary. In addition, security exhibition and seminar can be expanded to lay the groundwork for the advancement of private security system. From the legal and institutional perspective, the security guarding service related law must be revised and the certification system must b introduced to cope with the changing requirement. The security guarding instructor system must be strengthened to ensure a faithful and earnest implementation of duty to instruct, supervise and educate security guarding personnel. From the perspective of security guarding system's operation, professional security technique must be introduced and applied, and the volunteer application system must be established. In addition, standard 'security guarding manual' must be crafted, and the equipment for security guarding must be modernized to ensure an efficient operation of private security guarding services.

The purpose of this study is to consider ontology theory and get to forge design and implementation of ontology-based access system which is support to the nutrition and food guide tower of Home Economics textbooks in middle school in order to offer the way of effective learning performance. It offers a model by establishing a nutrition and food guide tower access system based on Protege-2000 framework. This system is on the basis of XML, and it makes possible to work with semantic web, a next generation internet technology, and provides a meaning structure that can be shared in the field of nutrition in order to build up the fundament of knowledge an information system for the mutual operations. A learner can systemize the knowledge through a self-information access and an instructor can also check out the degree of learner's learning-accomplishment and interests, directly putting the access system into the teaching and learning process. In addition, it is supposed that the learner can maintain a balance and healthy life by internalizing his or her knowledge throughout ontology not only in a teaching and learning process but also in a daily life.
The purpose of this study is to explore supporting strategies for teaching and learning based on students' effect recognition and continuous intention in college flipped learning. It was analyzed 426 data by multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) by examining student's effect recognition and continuous intention on 15 flipped learning classes of K-university in Chungnam. The characteristics of learners were male, senior students, students who knew flipped learning, students who did not have previous experience, and students who were learning video at anytime. As a teaching strategy, it was found that effect recognition and continuous intention were high in the supplementary deepening flipped learning class and natural science or engineering area. As a teaching and learning supporting strategies, First, the university should develop and operate flipped class learning strategy program for females and low-grade students. Second, it should support the development of good flipped learning design and operation model of instructor. Third, it should support the development of high quality online learning contents that students can learn from time to time. Fourth, it should support the strengthening of teaching competency to develop and operate flipped learning classes. This study can be used as basic data to support and spread the effective flipped learning classes of the university in the future.
This study was conducted to identify the effects of exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program that was based on Bandura's self efficacy model on self-efficacy, cardiopulmonary function and metabolism in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. The study design was nonequivalent pre-test post-test control design. 34 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients who received follow-up care regularly through the diabetic out-patient clinic were randomly sampled for this study. Twenty patients were assigned to the experimental group and fourteen patients were assigned to the control group. To the experimental group, exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program that is composed of individualized exercise prescription for 12 weeks was provided. In case of the control group, they were instructed to continue their usual lives. Data collection period was from March 1998 to June 2000 Data were analyzed using SPSS/WINDOW 10.0 program. The results were as follows. In experimental group, The score of self efficacy has increased from 64.20 to 66.65 after exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program and it was statistically significant(t=2.07, p=.04). The anaerobic threshold has increased from $18.20\;m{\ell}$/kg/min to $19.07\;m{\ell}$/kg/min and it was statistically significant(t=2.05, p=.04). Level of fasting blood sugar has decreased from $188.20\;mg/d{\ell}$ to $155.55\;mg/d{\ell}$ after exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program and it was statistically significant.(t=-2.69, p=.01). For the lipid metabolism, percent body fat has decreased from 27.16% to 26.57% after exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program. In conclusion, the exercise therapy applied in an efficacy expectation promoting program showed positive effect of self-efficacy, cardiopulmonary function and glucose and lipid metabolism.
