  • Energy recovery in the regenerative region is very important when SRM is used in traction drive, This is to reduce en-ergy loss during mechanical braking and/or to have a high efficiency drive during braking To control excitation voltage in motor operation and regenerative voltage in the generator operation in the SRM multi-level voltage control is effective The paper sug-gests multi-level inverter which is useful for motoring and regenerative operation in SRM

  • In the industrial motor drive system, a shift torsional vibration si often generated when a motor and a load are connected with a flexible shaft. This paper treats the vibration suppression control of such a system. In this paper, the state feedback controller of the two-mass resonant system using the H$\infty$ filter is proposed. The H$\infty$ filter is robust in noise and disturbance. Simulation results show the validity proposed controller.

  • In this paper, the research trend and the sate-of-the-art of low cost motor drives are introduced with the recently increasing interest In various industrial applications, such as home appliance, hybrid electric vehicles, wind power systems, fuel cell systems, and etc. Based on this presented work, it is highly expected the power electronics technologies, which are accumulated through the last 20 years, can be effectively applied to actual application fields.

  • In the industrial motor drive system which is composed of a motor and load connected with a flexible shaft, a torsional vibration is often generated because of the elastic elements in torque transmission. To solve this problem H$_{\infty}$ controller was designed. In this paper, H$_{\infty}$ control of 2-mass system using H$_{\infty}$ filter for compensating shaft torque is proposed. Pole-zero maps show the validity of proposed controller.

  • This paper describes the position control method in yard crane drive system using Lonworks network, which is a leading industrial control network. The network is composed of host computer and three motor drive systems for both gantry and trolley position controls of both gantry and trolley are controlled with the simulator of yard crane, the size of which is about 1/10 with the real yard crane.

  • A resonance is the one of major reasons of vibration problems occurred in industrial fields. To reduce vibration level due to resonance, structure reinforcements or change of the dynamic characteristics is generally applied. In this paper, the troublesome vibration levels of the motor shaft and auxiliary condensate pump are reduced by avoiding resonance.

  • As the internet communication is prevalent in recent years, it becomes quite possible to monitor and control some mechanical plants from the remote place through the TCP/IP communication. Such a concept is expected to be applied to many industrial systems for easy maintenance and trouble shooting as well as various kinds of expensive test equipments for sharing. In this research, remote data monitoring and speed control for a DC-motor is implemented and tested through TCP/IP communication with embedded micro-controllers. It showed the possibility of reliable remote control system design utilizing the internet communication.

  • 고효율 유도전동기는 일반 유도전동기의 발생 손실을 절감시킨 것으로 적은 소비전력으로 에너지를 절약하고, 운전비용이 낮아서 단기간에 초기 설비투자 비용회수가 가능하고, 온도상승이 크지 않아 전동기 수명을 연장시킬 수 있다. 이에 포스코아에서는 이제까지의 경험을 바탕으로 전기 연구원과 협력하여 고효율 유도전동기 개발에 나섰다. 본 논문에서는 고효율 유도전동기 소형모터금형개발에 관하여 연구하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 논리 설계를 위해서 I-ROB 3000이라는 로봇 키트를 사용하여 논리 설계를 검증하였다. 이 검증에는 iRoV-Lab 3000의 장착된 로봇 모듈인 FPA 모듈,Stepper Motor 모듈,적외선 송수신센서 모듈, 카메라 모듈,RF 모듈 LED,TEXT LCD, 7-segment를 제어하기 위한 FPGA를 사용하며,FPGA설계를 위해 Schematic Design 또는HDL에 대해 연구한다.로봇 설계 시스템의 내부구조를 이해하고 개발환경을 구축할수 있다. 로봇의 구성요소와 각각의 구성요소(Sensor 모듈,display 모듈, Stepper Motor 모듈,RF 모듈)의 동작 원리를 개발한다.
