The study was conducted in Erhe Park, a neighborhood park in Dali City, China, to derive the influence of environmental factors in the park on the elderly's satisfaction and to analyze the satisfaction in order to provide improvement recommendations. First, the evaluation indicators were selected, by referencing previous research into the elderly's evaluation of external spatial environments and the influence of various factors was determined from the questionnaire and factor analysis. Second, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was conducted to understand the satisfaction of the elderly, and then an Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) analysis was conducted to develop improvement recommendations. Results of the factor analysis showed that park's environmental factors were grouped into four categories: facility suitability and comfort, safety and convenience of use, natural environment comfort, and parkway convenience. Based on this, the overall satisfaction rating for the environmental factors in Erhe Park was between satisfactory and average. The natural environment comfort was rated satisfactory, the facility suitability and comfort, and convenience and safety were rated average, and parkway convenience was rated near to satisfaction. The IPA analysis revealed that the suitability of rest facilities, suitability of convenience facilities, facility management status, safety of entrances and exits, and nighttime lighting facilities were items of high importance but low satisfaction that needed to be improved. The results of this study can be utilized as a guide for future building or readjustment of senior-friendly parks, and they are critical for increasing senior-friendly park satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to suggest marketing plan to improve and promote screen baseball utilization, applying Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) incorporating marketing mix 4Cs; Customer value, Convenience, Cost, and Communication. A convenience sample was made up of 267 users in screen baseball clubs located in metropolitan area. Evidence on validity and reliability of the data was obtained through exploratory factor analysis and internal consistency analysis. Frequency analysis and paired sample t-test for the difference verification of IPA were conducted also in SPSS version 21.0 with .05 of significance level. The main results of the study were as follows. First, there were partially significant differences between importance and satisfaction regarding the sub-categories of Customer value and Convenience. Second, there were all significant differences between importance and satisfaction regarding the sub-categories of Cost and Communication. Third, as the results regarding IPA, quadrant I indicating 'Keep up Good Work' included healthy use of leisure time, improvement of self-achievement, accessibility, communication between service user and provider, etc. Fourth, quadrant II indicating 'Concentrate Here' included diversification of screen baseball program, cost regarding facility use, etc. Fifth, quadrant III indicating 'Low Priority' included interpersonal relationship, subsidiary facilities, cost of food and beverage, etc. Lastly, quadrant IV indicating 'Possible Overkill' included improvement of physical health and life satisfaction and rules and procedures of screen baseball.

The purpose of this study is to improve the curriculum to revitalize beauty tourism by analyzing the difference in importance and satisfaction of the beauty tourism curriculum. And online and offline surveys were conducted for workers in the beauty tourism industry, and IPA analysis was conducted using 208 valid samples. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a difference in the importance and satisfaction of all educational contents. And than, it was found that there were no educational contents that needed improvement, and the training courses that required continuous maintenance were field practice, major practice, service and manners, customer consultation, customer management, marketing, and interpersonal relationships. Education content with low priority was found to be foreign languages, multicultural understanding, tourism, and beauty management. Based on the results, directions for improving the curriculum for revitalizing beauty tourism were suggested.

Importance-performance analysis (IPA) is a simple and effective technique that can assist practitioners in prioritizing customer attributes to enhance service quality and visitor's satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to use the IPA-Kano model to examine the correlation of visitor's satisfaction and management matters and deduce the management priority. It classifies 14 visiting satisfaction attributes into basic factors (forest environments and staff/information center), performance factors (the natural landscape, trail facilities, forest status, easy access, and historical and cultural resources), and excitement factors (the value of natural monument, educational experiences, and entrance fee) to select the management priority according to the achievement (satisfaction). The management priority according to the performance is staff/information center > easy access > forest environment > trail facilities, historical and cultural resources, forest status, and natural landscape > entrance fee and educational experience > value of natural monument. By considering their performance, it further identifies development priorities for visitor's satisfaction improvement. These priorities allow local governments to deploy scarce resources to improve satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between importance and satisfaction of beauty contest using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) by deriving the quality factors of contest for revitalize beauty contest. For the study, a survey was conducted on participants with experience participating in beauty contest, and the collected data were analyzed using a response sample t-test and a PIA matrix. The results are as follows. First, there was a difference in importance and satisfaction as the average of importance was high. Second, in the first quadrant of the IPA matrix, contents related to contest assignment were mainly shown. This was analyzed as an effective factor that can improve the quality of the competition. Third, in the second quadrant, factors related to contest review were distributed. Accordingly, measures are required to increase the expertise and transparency of review. Fourth, in the third quadrant, the contents of the contest operation are mainly shown, and the satisfaction level is low, but supplementing it will have an improvement effect. Fifth, in the fourth quadrant, the satisfaction of the ability improvement item was high, which is analyzed that the contest experience affects the improvement of individual skills. Through this, it is significant to be used as basic data to establish a plan for revitalizing beauty contest.

Recently, highway service becomes a very important service in highways. Highway service is considered as a positive interaction method between highway service companies and customers. From this perspective, this study was to investigate the relationships between influencing factors of highway service and user satisfaction. And, this research was to examine the differences between importance and performance of highway service factors using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). The result of this study has categorised the 22 highway service attributes into seven highway service selection factors: food, culture, kindness and health, products, large space, employee and Phone, facility. Using IPA, this study has compared the importance and performance of highway service selection factors, as perceived highway service customers. The empirical findings suggest that strategic framework using IPA gives guidelines that improve effectiveness of highway service.

This study conducted IPA of each item related to the farm party operation aiming at the participants to farm parties. The survey was carried out on the participants to the farm parties held in Damyang County from October 11th to November 22nd, 2014, and 103 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The specific results of the IPA are as follows. In the first quarter of 'maintenance and management performance' are included the total of seven items. They are a harmonious view with the surrounding environment, friendliness of the farmer and the party staff, posting the event schedule and providing the program, proper disposition of the staff in the farm, an exchange among farm party participants, food that makes use of farm produce and the convenience of gaining information. In the second quarter of 'intensive improvement' are included eight items. They are cleanliness of the facilities such as restroom and basin, providing the pamphlets or promotion materials of the farms in the farm party, things to experience utilizing the farm produce grown in the host farm, various events, smooth progress of the farm party program, inclusion of the indigenous native food, variety of things to buy including farm produce and information delivery about the farm produce on sale.

The purpose of this study is to examine the importance and satisfaction perceived in the purchase of goods and the use of a court in badminton club members. The results will be used for basic data to increase club members and present the methods to activate badminton. The survey on goods, price, programs, facilities, staff, and publicity was conducted. The IPA matrix was applied for data processing. The following conclusions were drawn. First, as a result of analyzing the ranking of importance and satisfaction, the first place of importance was coach's professionalism of staff factors, followed by safety of facility factors and program contents and effects of program factors. The first place of satisfaction was cleanliness and management of facility factors, followed by coach's professionalism of staff factors and staff's kindness of staff factors. Second, as a result of the IPA matrix of importance and satisfaction, Quadrant I included appropriateness of training time and program contents and effect of program factors, parking size and cleanliness and management of facility factors, coach's professionalism and staff's service attitude of staff factors, and customer service and complaint resolution of publicity factors. Quadrant II showed appropriateness of price, value for money, and discount policy of price factors and materials and design of goods factors. Quadrant III included excellent customer service of goods of goods factors, various program construction of program factors, court location and accessibility, and various convenient facilities of facility factors, and various publicity and event programs, website construction, and various publicity strategies of publicity factors. Quadrant IV showed brand value of goods, awareness, and brand specialty of goods of goods factors.

The purpose of this study was to investigate science gifted education recipients' perception through importance-performance analysis regarding gifted education program, and explore reinforcements and improvements for providing an education program to meet the needs of science gifted. For this study, we developed an questionnaire and conducted a survey of 288 university students who had experience of receiving science gifted education. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS 20.0 in order to analyze difference between importance and performance which recipients perceived, paired t-test was conducted. Moreover, to investigate improvements for education program, Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) was conducted. We deduced the following from the analysis. The performance is in general lower than the importance which recipients perceived regarding experienced education program. There was a differential needs in the type of education program depending on the school level. In other words, they were perceived 'education based on experiences' as effective education program for elementary school students; 'education based on inquiry activities' for middle school students; and 'education based on research activities 'for high school students. But, career education and leadership program was included in domain of urgent improvement regardless to the school level. This study has different signification from previous research in that was analyzed gifted education program considering the splashdown effect.

The objective of this study is to provide improved methodology based on the IPA method. One case studies are solved by the proposed method. this study present the method that give value to use SN(Signal-to-Noise) ratio in IPA. A case study of lecture satisfaction are solved by the proposed method and the existing method. Also, the result is compared with the existing method using Mean and the proposed method using SN ratio.
