환기 병용형 냉난방 시스템 설계 및 현장 적용 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Hybrid Air Conditioning and Ventilation System)

  • In this study it was evaluated that hybrid air conditioning and ventilation system to reduce energy consumption and keep on comfortable indoor environment in an underground shopping center. Room temperature by hybrid HAVC system was controled as $1.8{\sim}2.1^{\circ}C$ low and indoor humidity was controled as $4.1{\sim}5.0%RH$ low, and response was fast in $2.0{\sim}2.5$ times compared with conventional system. And also transportation efficiency of hybrid HVAC system was improved in about 27%, and total energy consumption rate of hybrid HVAC system is decreased in 16% compared with conventional system.

공동주택 하이브리드(Hybrid) 환기시스템의 성능예측 (A Prediction of Hybrid Ventilation System Performance in Apartment House)

  • A hybrid ventilation system was introduced to predict the ventilation performance of the apartments. This ventilation system was composed of the natural supply-air inlet and the forced exhaust-air outlet. Analysis was conducted by CFD technique and was performed on three ventilating flow rates; 30, 60, 120 $m^3/h$. As the results, residents feel comfortable thermally and in air flow conditions for 60 $m^3/h$. But the case of 30 $m^3/h$ shows 1100ppm of $CO_2$ concentration due to the deficient of air flow rate. In the case of 120 $m^3/h$, however, residents feel uncomfortable thermally and in air currents. In this study the energy saving for space heating is also an important factor. A detailed prediction for more complicated whole apartment space will be investigated in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the 3 types of indoor ventilation methods such as natural, mechanical, and hybrid ventilation in high-rise building which is affected by stack effect and outdoor air pressure. For the evaluation of the ventilation capacity, CFD simulation was performed in a typical high-rise residential building. The results of the simulations are as follows: 1) Natural ventilation method is not enough to the regulation. 2) In case of mechanical ventilation, congested area is occurred but meets the regulation. 3) In case of hybrid ventilation with stack effect, all the areas of indoor meet the regulation and congested area is reduced. 4) In case of high-rise building, the differences of ventilation rate among houses in the building are not large because the mechanical ventilation is main factor.

TDR을 이용한 중앙집중형 하이브리드 환기시스템의 결로방지 성능 평가 (Evaluation of Condensation Prevention for Centralized Hybrid Ventilation System Using TDR)

  • Purpose: Condensation in the apartment housing is one of the most significant defects and complaints for condensation are rapidly increasing according to the growing interest in residential environment. Korea government established a regulation for reducing condensation in the apartment housing and TDR is adapted as a standard. However prevention of condensation depend on improving the performance of building envelop has limitation because of the increase of the cost. Centralized Hybrid ventilation system is suggested to prevent condensation. Method: Field measurement was conducted to verify the ventilation rate of the ventilation system. Based on the measurement, air network and CFD simulation was conducted to analyze ventilation rate for each room. Surface temperature was calculated by regulated TDR according to the regions and surfaces. The performance of condensation prevention was evaluated by the ventilation rate and surface temperature. Result: In the results, it was found that condensation was prevented in more than 90% of households by the centralized hybrid ventilation system which provided 0.19 ~ 0.81ACH for each room.

초고층 공동주택의 환기효율 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Ventilation Effectiveness in High-rise Apartment Buildings)

  • The efficiency of ventilation system is one of the most important issues of designing ventilation in high-rise apartment buildings. The purpose of this study is to analyze the ventilation efficiency of ventilation system by experimental study using CO2 gas method. The results of this paper can be summarized as follows; (1) An appropriate ventilation including opening planning, mechanical and hybrid system are required. (2) The supply diffuser of ventilation system should be located near the contaminant source. (3) The return grill should be located along with supply diffuser for proper ventilation. and the return grill should be located near or right above the contaminant source. (4) However, the supply location right above the contaminant source has to be avoided. and the supply diffuser should be installed in module with return grill increase ventilation effectiveness.

  • This test was progressed in the test house of KICT as sectional research of Center for Sustainable Housing. It included a ventilation rate of hybrid ventilation equipment, temperature, and gas test using the SF-6. The purpose of this test is to demonstrate the performance of viovent by estimating an outdoor air flow rate through viovent which the flimmer filter is installed and decide the leakage after operating the constant airflow fan within a house. First, the outdoor airflow rate through viovent measured $130\;m^3/h$ more than a legal required ventilation rate, $104\;m^3/h$. And then it sufficiently satisfy a legal standard, 0.7 air change/h. Secondly, the result of this test exposes that the leakage in the residence is about $20{\sim}25%$. Especially, the outdoor air flowing through the gate occupies 50% of the total leakage.

  • The shopping center in underground passage increased for efficient space utilization in urban area. This study describes operation characteristics of all air type and hybrid type with local ventilation and fan coil unit fixed to ceiling. In order to compare energy saving, thermal environment and installation space, etc., integrated simulator with heat production and indoor distribution system is designed and constructed. Energy saving of the hybrid system is calculated as over 30% compared to conventional all air type. And also the results showed that humidity decreased about 6%, also indoor thermal distribution is improved as temperature variation of around $1^{\circ}C$.

  • This study investigates the need of calibrating a nodal network ventilation simulation model (CONTAMW 2.4). For this purpose, the series of ventilation experiments were conducted and then compared to simulation outputs from an uncalibrated simulation model, resulting in a significant difference between two. Hence, an optimization routine was employed to estimate unknown parameters in the simulation model. In the paper, the authors presents 1.3 unknown parameters with the validated simulation model. It was found that the model with estimated unknown parameters predicts the ventilation phenomena accurately.
