본 논문은 먼저 수학교육에서 수학사를 활용하고자 하는 이론적 배경으로 역사발생적원리를 중심으로 고찰하고 실제 중학교 교과서에서 수학사 활용 정도를 확인하다. 수학교실에서 수학사 활용의 성공적인 안착을 위해 예비수학교사교육에 수학사를 포함해야 하는 근거를 교사의 지식의 측면에서 살펴보고 예비수학교사를 위한 수학사 활용 프로그램을 제안한다.

본 연구는 국내 고등학교 역사교사의 기록물 이용행태를 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 고등학교 역사교사를 대상으로 3번의 사전인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 2개 지역 역사교사 모임 회원 50명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사는 기록물과 기록관에 대한 인식, 기록물 이용현황, 기록물 탐색경로, 기록물 이용시 장애요인 및 서비스 방안 등 크게 4개 분야에 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 조사결과 설문에 참여한 역사교사들은 주로 학생들의 역사적 이해력이나 자료에 대한 해석 능력을 높이기 위하여 수업에서 기록물을 어느 정도 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 수업일정이나 교사의 시간 부족 등은 기록물 이용에 장애가 되는 요인으로 나타났다. 설문참여자들은 향후 수업에서 기록물이 활발히 이용되기 위해서는 기록물을 통합적으로 검색할 수 있는 DB가 구축되어야 하며, 기록물에 대한 해석 등이 부여된 가공된 형태의 자료집 등이 필요하다고 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of teachers' psychological well-being between teachers' attachment history and child-teacher relationships. The participants of this survey were 342 teachers from 41 day care centers and 11 kindergartens in four metropolitan cities and five provinces in Korea. The collected data were analysed through frequency and percentage calculation, Pearson's correlations, and the mediation methods suggested by Baron & Kenny(1986) were calculated by using SPSS 21.0. The findings are as follows. First, the percentage points of the attachment history of early childhood, the teachers' psychological well-being and the child-teacher relationship were higher than the average. Also, all the variables had correlations. Second, the teachers' psychological well-being partly mediated the relations between attachment history and child-teacher relationships. These results imply that teachers' psychological well-being is needed for positive child-teacher relationships, and can provide policy implications for teachers' psychological well-being in order to improve the quality of child-teacher relationships.

본 연구는 예비교사들을 대상으로 수학사 활용에 대한 인식을 조사하여 그 결과를 분석하는 연구를 수행하였다. 예비교사들은 수학사 활용에 대해 긍정적으로 생각하고 있고, 수업에 활용할 수 있는 수학사의 내용이 충분하다면 수업에 활용할 것이라고 답하였다. 또한, 교과서에 실린 수학사에 관련된 내용이 충분하지 않다고 생각하고 수학사에 대해 잘 모르기 때문에 학생을 지도할 때 수학사를 활용하지 못하며, 대부분의 예비교사들은 수학사를 학생들의 흥미와 동기 유발을 위한 자료로 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 예비교사들이 수학사를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 예비교사를 위한 교육과정에 수학사를 포함시키고, 더 나아가 수학 수업에서 수학사를 구체적으로 활용할 수 있는 교수-학습 자료의 개발과 수학사를 다양하게 활용하고 적용하는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

이 연구는 초등학교 과학 수업에서 한국과학사 자료의 활용에 대한 교사들의 인식을 조사한 것이다. 한국과학사 자료를 활용한 과학수업의 교육적 가치와 활용 실태를 알아보기 위해 기초단계로 초등학교 과학 교과서 분석을 하였으며 5단계의 리커트 형식의 설문지를 개발하여 202명의 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과 4학년의 과학교과서에는 한국과학사 자료가 없었으며 대부분의 교사들은 한국과학사를 활용한 교육적 가치에 대해 높게 인식하고 있었으나 4학년 담임교사의 경우는 다른 학년에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 또한 한국과학사 자료를 교육과정에서 본 차시내용으로 다루어져야 한다고 인식하고 있었다.

본 연구는 예비 교사교육에서 한국수학사의 교육적 적용을 탐색하는 일련의 연구로서, 그 목적은 예비 초등교사의 한국수학사 활용에 대한 인식을 조사하는 것과 조선산학 프로그램이 한국수학사 활용에 대한 교사인식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 조선산학 프로그램에 참여한 학생 88명을 포함한 총 174명의 예비교사들을 대상으로 한국수학사 활용의 실태, 효과, 개선방안과 관련된 설문을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 예비교사들은 한국수학사의 활용을 수학사의 활용보다 더 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났으며, 수학교육에 한국수학사 도입이 필요하다는 의견이 많았다. 또한 예비교사들은 문화적 측면의 활용효과와 활용방식을 가장 높게 평가하였으며, 정의적 측면과 인지적 측면은 후순위로 조사되었다. 한편 교사교육 참여집단과 비참여집단의 인식 차이를 분석한 결과, 두 집단 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타난 문항은 전체 54개 문항 중 25개 문항으로 나타났다. 무엇보다도 교사교육 참여경험이 인지적 측면의 활용효과와 활용방식에 대한 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 확인하였다. 이는 교사교육이 한국 수학사 활용에 대한 교사들의 인식과 한국수학사를 활용한 수학수업의 활성화에 주요 변수임을 의미한다.

This study was conducted to obtain basic materials to improve the teaching method of Home Economics by theoretically looking into the supplementary teaching materials or implements usable in teaching Costume History area. And based on these data, the types and the applications of the supplementary teaching materials or implements highschool owned were examined. The subjects of this study were 111 Home Economics and Housework curriculum highschool teachers who give a lecture in the country by using self-administered questionnaires. SAS program was used to calculate frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and $\chi$(sup)2-test analysis. The results of the study were as follows； 1. Most of the highschool teachers used the school expenses for experiments in preparing the supplementary teaching materials or implements. 2. Of the supplementary teaching materials and implements concerning Costume History, visual implements such as slides and pictures were the mostly owned. CD and audio implements as cassette-tapes were not used. 3. Most of the teachers recognized the importance of the audio-visual teaching materials and implements concerning Costume History. 4. Among the audio-visual materials and implements concerning Costume History by which can be made by school teachers of Home Economics and Housework curriculum, the mostly used one was ‘cutting pictorials from magazines and newspapers’, and the next were ‘orbital materials’, and ‘copy the pictorials’, and the least was ‘recording from the radio’. 5. Most of the annual expenses assigned to the department of Home Economics was used in cooking practice, and the least of the expenses was assigned in buying audio-visual teaching materials and implements. 6. Time assigned to the area of Home Economics was for the most part one or two hours per week, and among this, time assigned to the history of western costume and the history ok korean costume was for the most part five to eight hours. 7. The areas that the highschool teachers felt difficulties mostly during clothing and textiles curriculum were ‘textiles’and the next were ‘knitting’, ‘western costume history’, and ‘korean clothing construction’. 8. The difficulties the highschool teachers faced while teaching Costume History were mostly that ‘the pictorials in the text is not fully explainable’, the next were ‘most of the supplementary teaching materials or implements are not owned’, ‘have to explain very much in a short time’, and ‘the lectural explanation is insufficient’. 9. The solution for the difficulties that the highschool teachers faced while teaching Costume History was mostly ‘the information, on which audio-visual materials and implements are distributed in the market, should be easy to obtain’, the next opinions were ‘the school should provide enough experiment and practice expenses to buy audio-visual materials and implements’, and ‘education facilities of the Home Economics Department should be the main aspects in improving the teaching methods and should give special lectures about it’.

수학사의 교육적 연구를 비판적으로 분석해 보고, 교사 및 교사교육자를 대상으로 하여 실시한 설문조사와 면담결과를 통해 수학사를 교육적으로 활용하고자 할 때 해결되어야 할 문제점을 찾아보고자 하였다. 수학학습에 대한 흥미와 학습동기 유발을 넘어서 수학사를 통해 수학적 개념의 진정한 의미와 그 핵심적인 관점의 이해를 심화시킨다는 측면에서 볼 때 수학사의 교육적 이용에 대한 연구 결과와 교사의 수학사에 대한 인식에는 만족스럽지 못한 측면이 있으며, 교사 교육기관에서의 수학사 교육은 수학사의 개관에 그치고 있어 충분하지 못하며, 학교수학에 대한 역사 발생적 자료의 개발, 나아가 역사 발생적 교재구성에 대한 연구가 절실히 요구된다.

This paper aims at investigating the algebraic solution of cubic and quartic equation and eliciting the didactical meanings of them. First, I examine the event which relates to the equation in the history of mathematics and investigate the algebraic solution of cubic and quartic equation. And then I elicit the didactical suggestions which are required of teachers and students when they investigate the algebraic solution of cubic and quartic equation. In general, the investigation of these solutions is the valuable task which requires the algebraic intuition and technique for students and certificates expert knowledge for teachers.

The purpose of this study is to assess the changes that occur to pre-service mathematics teachers by using survey on the self-reflection during their education practices. For four weeks of the education practice period, the changes to pre-service teachers are analyzed from teaching and learning perspectives. The teaching perspective is sub-categorized into lesson contents, teaching methods, and evaluation on teaching, and the learning perspective is sub-categorized into monitoring on learning, support for learning and evaluation on learning. The analysis shows that significant changes occur in teaching contents from the teaching perspective and in all the sub-categories from the learning perspective. Based on the analysis, preservice teachers are suggested to utilize self-reflection programs during their education practices to promote their professionalism in teaching.
