일본산 수입 수산물에 대한 위험인식, 섭취 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석: 감정요인을 중심으로 (Analysis on the Factors Influencing Risk Perception and Risk Taking Behavior to Japanese Fishery Products: Focused on Affect Factor)

  • 후쿠시마 원자력 발전소 사고 이후 한국 정부는 일본 북부지역에서 생산되는 수산물 수입을 금지하였다. 한국과 일본 사이 수산물 분쟁은 아직 진행중이며 소비자들은 식품안전에 위협을 받고 있다. 이 연구는 소비자의 일본 수산물에 대한 위험인식과 위험행동에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 밝히기 위함이다. 이를 위해 2012년 9월부터 10월까지 1,500명의 성인을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 분석결과 일본산 수산물에 대한 위험인식에서 감정의 역할이 확인되었는데, 일본산 수산물에 대해 부정적인 감정을 느끼고 있는 개인은 해당 제품에 대한 위험 인식이 높았다. 또 부정적인 감정은 수산물 구입행동에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 운명주의적 성향은 수산물 구입행동에 유의한 변수가 아닌 것으로 나타났다.

  • 2009년 4-7월 대형 수산물 도매 시장에서 구입한 조미 건어포류 210건 (오징어포류 157건, 쥐치포 23건, 명태포류 20건 등) 을 조사한 결과, 균종별로는, 대장균군 13.3%(28/210), 바실러스균 15.2%(32/210), 포도상구균 33.8%(71/210), 리스테리아균 5.2%(11/210), 그리고 장구균 4.7%(10/210) 등으로 각각 분리되었다. 대장균군의 경우 Escherichia coli 등 총 28주가 분리 되었고, 건오징어에서 22주로 가장 많았으며, 포도상구균의 경우 Staphylococcus xlosus 등 총 71주가 분리되었고, 건오징어에서 51주가 분리되어 가장 많았으며, 바실러스균의 경우, Bacillus cereus 19주 등 총 32주였고, 건오징어에서 21주로 가장 많았다. 한편, 리스테리아균은 Listeria grayi가 8주, 장구균의 경우는 Aerococcus viridons가 9주로 각각 분리되었다. 16종류의 항생제들에 대해 디스크 확산 법에 의한 항생제 감수성 검사를 실시한 결과, 9주의 E. coli에 대한 다제 내성 양상들은 NOR+LVX+CIP+SAM+VA+S+TE+CF, SAM+C+VA, VA+S+TE, 그리고 VA+S 등으로 나타났고, 21주의 Bacillus cereus에 대한 다제 내성 양상들은 AMC+SAM+CF, SAM+CF, 그리고 VA+CF 등으로 각각 나타났으며 이 가운데 AMC+SAM+CF가 9주로 가장 많았다. 본 연구를 통해 시판 조미 건어포류에서 다제 내성 균주들이 꾸준히 증가하고 그 양상이 복잡해짐을 알 수 있었고, 이와 같은 항생제 다제 내성 균주들의 증가는 최근 수산 가두리양식장에서의 항생제 남용에 대한 가이드라인 설정과 이에 대한 국가적인 관리가 요구됨을 알 수 있다.

우리나라 수산업의 유망직종 예측과 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prediction and Development of Prospective Fisheries-Related Jobs in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore new fisheries-related jobs in the future. The study is based on a thorough literature review and in-depth interviews with experts in the fisheries industry. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, new fisheries-related jobs that surpass the fitness rating of 90% and earn more than 3 on the prospect scale are expected to be found mostly in professional fishery sectors. In the production and processing sectors, fishery quality control manager, marine product cooks, and raw fish cooks looked most promising. In the fishery marketing and distribution section, on the other hand, marine tour consultants, marine product distribution consultants, underwater guides, online marine product traders, marine sports consultants, and marine safety specialists ranked high on the list.

기후변화에 따른 해양생태계 변화와 어업 (Changes in Marine Ecosystem according to Climate Change and Fishery)

  • Global climate change is significant issue in marine ecosystem and fishery market. According to rising of both seawater temperature and sea-level, global fishery environment and marine ecosystem are changing drastically. Moreover, over-exploitation in fishery areas is the most important issue in the marine ecosystem conservation. In analysis and statistics of global network, major fish populations are decreasing very fastly, but fish catch are increasing annually. It means balance between product and consume is not appropriate in the global market. China as emerging new fish consumer in the world is strongly developing fishery industry and technology. In this paper, I try to review a relationship between marine ecosystem and climate change in global scale according to references. I also suggested possibility of sustainable global fishery in changing marine ecosystem by analysis of some related reports of international global fishery.

서울 강서지역 신선편이식품 원재료 농산물의 잔류농약 모니터링 (Monitoring of residual pesticides in fresh-cut produce in Gangseo, Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 주로 생식으로 섭취하는 신선편이식품 원재료 농산물의 안전성을 확인하기 위해 2018-2021년 서울 강서지역 공영도매시장과 대형유통매장에서 취급하는 양상추, 토마토, 셀러리 등 농산물 14종에 대하여 잔류농약 실태를 조사하였다. 589건을 검사하여 기준이내 검출은 17건(2.9%)이었고, 기준초과는 2건 (0.3%)으로 나타났다. 유통단계별로 살펴보면 대형유통매장 판매농산물과 달리 유통 전 도매시장의 경매 농산물을 대상으로 검사한 경우 기준초과가 2건 발생하여 차이점을 보였다. 검출된 농약은 플루벤디아마이드, 플루페녹수론, 다이아지논 순으로 나타났으며 주로 살충제와 살균제로 밝혀졌다. 신선편이식품 원재료 농산물의 유통 길목인 공영도매시장을 살펴보면 부적합 비율이 0.3%로 나타나 일반농산물 부적합률 1.4-2.5%보다 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 신선편이식품은 간단한 가공처리를 거쳐 바로 섭취하기 때문에 농약이 잔류할 경우 인체에 영향을 미칠 수 있어, 원재료 농산물의 지속적인 잔류농약 모니터링이 필요하다.

방사능 관련 안전정보의 수산물 소비 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the consumption of fishery products in relation with radioactivity-related safety information)

  • This study aims to look at the change in consumer awareness and behavior after Japan's 2013 nuclear power plant's radioactive water leakage and draw implications about them. Findings show that 81% of respondents decreased their consumption of fishery products after the nuclear incident, and kept on showing avoidance of imported fishery products including those from Japan. Also it showed that consumers more importantly considered safety when buying imported fishery products after the nuclear incident. The most common channel of receiving radioactivity safety information on fishery products were TV and online. However, the main reason for decreasing the consumption of fishery products was founded to be based on the inaccuracy of the information provided. However, many people said that they will increase their consumption of all fishery products if provided with accurate radioactivity information. Therefore, if accurate radioactivity information were to be spread effectively to the public, positive consumption rates of fishery products can be shown in the future. The inaccuracy of radioactivity safety information caused the rapid decrease of fishery products consumption in 2013 to be amplified. Therefore, this study showed the importance of the delivery of rapid, accurate and consistent information to consumers.

수산부산물에 대한 해양바이오산업 활용 의향 조사 연구 (A study on the intention of companies to utilize fishery by-product s in the marine bio industry)

  • This study examines a business survey on the utilization of fishery by-products with the aim to assess the feasibility of incorporating these by-products into various industries. The research involved surveying 312 biocompanies across the country and conducting an empirical analysis based on the collected data. South Korea, a leading seafood-producing country with a developed seafood processing industry, provides conditions necessary to utilize seafood by-products as raw materials for the marine bioindustry. Among the surveyed biocompanies, 38.5% expressed their intention to engage in industrial activities involving the use of fishery by-products in the future, indicating a significant level of interest within the bioindustry in utilizing marine and fishery by-products. Companies showed interest in diverse materials, such as scales, fish bones, skin, and kelp holdfast beyond those currently defined under the Fisheries By-products Recycling Promotion Act (officially unnamed, 2021). This suggests a need for improvements in the regulatory framework to accommodate these diverse biomaterials. Furthermore, we propose enhancing the efficiency of fishery by-product utilization by focusing on regional specialization in marine bioindustry. This involves utilizing existing legal framework for upcycling fishery by-products and fostering a regionally specialized marine bioindustry.

Preparation and Antioxidant Activities In Vitro of a Designed Antioxidant Peptide from Pinctada fucata by Recombinant Escherichia coli

  • An antioxidant peptide derived from Pinctada fucata meat using an Alcalase2.4L enzymatic hydrolysis method (named AOP) and identified by LC-TOF-MS has promising clinical potential for generating cosmetic products that protect skin from sunshine. To date, there have been few published studies investigating the structure-activity relationship in these peptides. To prepare antioxidant peptides better and improve their stability, the design and expression of an antioxidant peptide from Pinctada fucata (named DSAOP) was studied. The peptide contains a common precursor of an expression vector containing an ${\alpha}$-helix tandemly linked according to the BamHI restriction sites. The DNA fragments encoding DSAOP were synthesized and subcloned into the expression vector pET-30a (+), and the peptide was expressed mostly as soluble protein in recombinant Escherichia coli. Meanwhile, the DPPH radical scavenging activity, superoxide radical scavenging activity, and hydroxyl radical scavenging activity of DSAOP $IC_{50}$ values were $0.136{\pm}0.006$, $0.625{\pm}0.025$, and $0.306{\pm}0.015mg/ml$, respectively, with 2-fold higher DPPH radical scavenging activity compared with chemosynthesized AOP (p < 0.05), as well as higher superoxide radical scavenging activity compared with natural AOP (p < 0.05). This preparation method was at the international advanced level. Furthermore, pilot-scale production results showed that DSAOP was expressed successfully in fermenter cultures, which indicated that the design strategy and expression methods would be useful for obtaining substantial amounts of stable peptides at low costs. These results showed that DSAOP produced with recombinant Escherichia coli could be useful in cosmetic skin care products, health foods, and pharmaceuticals.

First Report on Isolation of Salmonella Enteritidis from Eggs at Grocery Stores in Korea

  • Salmonella Enteritidis is responsible for causing foodborne diseases upon consumption of egg products. While cases of S. Enteritidis isolation from eggs have been reported in other countries, no such cases have previously been reported in Korea. In this study, we report the first isolation and identification of S. Enteritidis from domestically distributed eggs in Korea. Eggs were collected from eight countrywide grocery stores during different seasons between 2011 and 2012. Egg contents and washing solution of egg shells were incubated in buffered peptone water, and the enriched broth was further enriched in tetrathionate broth and Rappaport-Vassiliadis. The secondary enriched broth was streaked on xylose lysine desoxycholate agar. The suspected colonies were confirmed to S. Enteritidis by a biochemical test, serotyping, and PCR test. Genetic relatedness among the isolates was analyzed using Diversilab Salmonella kit. Three strains of S. Enteritidis were isolated from egg contents and egg shells collected from grocery stores of the Eumseong-city in the fall of 2011. All three stains showed resistance to chloramphenicol, streptomycin, nalidixic acid, and ampicillin by the disk diffusion method. In addition, the isolates showed more than 99% DNA homology, indicating that they were presumably identical strains. Therefore, there is a requirement to monitor and control against S. Enteritidis from eggs in Korea.

어업용 씨앵커의 사용실태 분석을 통한 표준화 연구 (A study on standardization through the analysis of the survey on the use of fishery sea anchor)

  • Fishery sea anchor is widely used for many fishing vessels. However, standardization of the dimension and terminology of the fishery sea anchor has not been achieved, reducing the reliability of the performance and safety of the fishery sea anchor. Therefore, this study researches the reality of usage of fishery sea anchor and then attempts to suggest the development direction of the standard draft as basic data. As a result of the survey on the reality of usage show that various terms were used for each part of the fishery sea anchor (including the incorrect form of non-standard words derived from Japanese) and that the production of this product in the fishery sea anchor market was concentrated on one specific manufacturer. In addition, the main specifications of the fishery sea anchor are set and manufactured based on conventional experience without standards. In the field, there was no standardized drawing for fishery sea anchor and users had low awareness of the main specifications of fishery sea anchor. Therefore, this study suggested the following regarding the fishery sea anchor: standard terms for each part including Korean and English names and standard drawing of sea anchor. It is hoped that this study will contribute to research for the standardization of fishery sea anchor, which will increase in reliability and lead to increased interest in standardization in the fishery field.
