  • In the present paper, we investigate a problem in a sym-metric Finsler space, which is a special space. First we prove that if a symmetric space remains to be a symmetric one under the Z-projective change, then the space is of zero curvature. Further we will study W-recurrent space and D-recurrent space under the pro-jective change.

  • In the present paper, we have studied the Finslerian hypersurfaces and generalized ${\beta}$-conformal change of Finsler metric. The relations between the Finslerian hypersurface and the other which is Finslerian hypersurface given by generalized ${\beta}$-conformal change have been obtained. We have also proved that generalized ${\beta}$-conformal change makes three types of hypersurfaces invariant under certain conditions.

  • In this paper, we study conformal transformations between special class of Finsler metrics named C-reducible metrics. This class includes Randers metrics in the form $F={\alpha}+{\beta}$ and Kropina metric in the form $F={\frac{{\alpha}^2}{\beta}}$. We prove that every conformal transformation between locally dually flat Randers metrics must be homothetic and also every conformal transformation between locally dually flat Kropina metrics must be homothetic.

  • In view of solution to the Hilbert fourth problem, the present study engages to investigate the projectively flat special (𝛼, 𝛽)-metric and the generalised first approximate Matsumoto (𝛼, 𝛽)-metric, where 𝛼 is a Riemannian metric and 𝛽 is a differential one-form. Further, we concluded that 𝛼 is locally Projectively flat and have 𝛽 is parallel with respect to 𝛼 for both the metrics. Also, we obtained necessary and sufficient conditions for the aforementioned metrics to be locally projectively flat.
