This paper traces the process of constructing a new one-dimensional chaotic map, and will provide a simple application in color image encryption. The use of Sarkovskii's theorem will make it possible to determine the existence of chaos and restrict all conditions to ensure the existence of this new sequence. In addition, the sensitivity to initial conditions will be proved by Lyapunov's index value. Similarly, the performance of this new chaotic map will be illustrated graphically and compared with other chaotic maps most commonly used in cryptography. Finally, a humble color image encryption application will show the power of this new chaotic map.

Main purpose of this paper is to combine the optimal form of Fan's best approximation theorem and Nash's equilibrium existence theorem into a single existence theorem simultaneously. For this, we first prove a general best proximity pair theorem which includes a number of known best proximity theorems. Next, we will introduce a new equilibrium concept for a generalized Nash game with normal form, and as applications, we will prove new existence theorems of Nash equilibrium pairs for generalized Nash games with normal form.

In a target tracking system using image information from a CCD (Charged Couple Device) or an IIR (Imaging Infra-red) sensor, occluded targets can result in track losses. If the target is occlued by background objects such as buildings or trees, probability of track existence will be reduced sharply and track will be terminated due to track maintenance algorithms. This paper proposes data association algorithm based on target existence for the robust tracking performance. we suggest the HPDA (Highest Probability Data Association) algorithm based on target existence and the tracking performance is compared with the established method based on target perceivability. Image tracking simulation that utilizes virtual 3D images and real IR images is employed to evaluate the robustness of the proposed tracking algorithm.

In this paper, we investigate the viscoelastic plate equation with a constant delay term and logarithmic nonlinearities. Under some conditions, we will prove the global existence. Furthermore, we use weighted spaces to establish a general decay rate of solution.

In this paper, we will prove an equilibrium existence theorem of a non-compact acyclic strategic game with affine constraint correspondences which is comparable with equilibrium existence theorems due to Debreu, Nash, Kim-Kum, and Lu in several aspects.

In this paper, we will introduce the generalized operator equlibrium problem and generalized operator quasi-equlibrium problem which generalize operator equlibrium problem due to Kazmi and Raouf into multi-valued and quasi-equlibrium problems. Using a Park's fixed point theorem, we will prove a new existence theorem on generalized operator equlibrium problem which serves as a basic existence theorem for various kinds of nonlinear problems.

In a post-modern society where things exist and events happen in the form of Baudrillardian simulation, alterity of the other is erased and transcendence is denied. Don DeLillo's White Noise depicts what may happen in a society where alterity and transcendence are experienced in the neutral and safe forms. It will be argued in this paper that such phenomena reflect the desire of the self to conquer the others and neutralize the existence of them for the self's enduring safety and accomplishment. However, the attempt must fail due to inevitable death. The invincibility of death reminds one of the limit of his ability and the existence of uncontrollable part of the other. This paper will focus on DeLillo's critique of such a society, the affect of the existence of death as an invincible force, and his message about the way to live under these conditions.
