Korea has enacted the Performance Evaluation law on the R&D Programs since 2006. This study categorizes program size, program history, sustainability, self-evaluation result as antecedents, and analyze the relationship between the antecedents and Meta-evaluation result, the change rate of appropriations. The result shows that program size, program history, self-evaluation result have significant effect to the Meta-evaluation result. And Meta-evaluation result has significant effect to the change rate of appropriations. This study has implication that the performance evaluation system shows significant effect to the appropriations.

This research This research aims at developing systemic evaluation model in terms of biotope preservation through reports, literatures, and expert survey analysis by implementing biotope structure analysis in area level with selecting Hyunpoong and Yuga-myeon, Dalseong county, Daegu metropolitan city as a site. First of all, as a result of biotope type classification of research site, biotope type groups are classified into total 13, and its biotope types are divided into total 61. Also, as a result of literature analysis, total 18 items are drawn such as diversity of biotope typical species as a index item to assess the preservation value of biotope, and the first evaluation index are divided into 10 and the second ones are divided into 8 according to characteristic of index items. As a result of expert survey analysis, All 10 index items, first evaluation index, show high importance average (above 4.7). As a result of implementation of main cause for categorizing evaluation index by characteristic, there are 3 factors such as 'obstructive factor.' Based on above survey analysis result, as a result of estimating the weight of each item, 'restoration factor' showed the highest, 3.4541, but 'factor of habitat stability' showed 3.1468, which is the lowest The systemic value evaluation was set by comprehensively analyzing these results. As a result of biotope preservation value evaluation through applying research site, total 19 types which are abundant in vegetation are classified into I class, 12 types in II class, 5 types in III class, 10 types in IV class, and 15 types in V class respectively. Lastly, as a result of second evaluation, it is analyzed that there are 17 special meaningful space to preserve species and biotope(1a, 1b) and 61 meaningful space to preserve species (2a, 2b, 2c).

The purpose of this study is to provide basic material about the improvement method of the hospital evaluation system by grasping recognition, corresponding behavior to evaluation, influence and problems about the hospital evaluation system with respect to the employee of mid sized hospitals having relatively poorer environment. In this study were used 518 questionnaires to hospital employee working at 20 general hospitals in Pusan, Kyungnam with less than 500 beds and having experience of the hospital evaluation during 2005~2007. As a result of the research, they felt the investigation tool used for the hospital evaluation has too many items and it could be difficult to reflect characteristics of each hospital. It appeared that utilization of the report result after the hospital evaluation was helpful for grasping a part necessary for hospital improvement and the present level of hospitals and increase of interest about medical service quality improvement of the a hospital director or hospital employee. They trusted the result of the hospital evaluation to some degree, and recognized it helps the patients to select a hospital and increase rights-to-know. Hospital employee recognized the necessity and showed high interest and participation, but they didn't sympathize in the propriety and the feasibility of the hospital evaluation items. High degree evaluated hospital employee receive hospital evaluation system positively and think hospital services to be improve after taking hospital evaluation. The hospital evaluation should make the hospital to effort to achieve medical quality improvement to its purpose. Also, systematic reformation will be necessary to reflect characteristics of the hospital that has relatively small scale or locates in poor environment.

The purpose of this study is to give the detailed evaluation index which is considered by reconstruction and repair for the school facilities on the ground of the efficiency evaluation result in each plan through analyzing the school facilities to every case classified into the evaluation index such as the school site plan, the site plan, the floor plan. On this study through the detailed evaluation index each case to the school facilities is to get the result of the efficiency evaluation. Through analysing the result, to make an alternative plan of the school facilities which are fit in both the new educational process and the educational state is to give it as a guide.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to survey the opinion and attitude of hospital managers toward the hospital evaluation program. Method : Managers of 157 hospitals which had participated in the hospital evaluation program were requested to respond to structured self-administered questionnaire. The questionnaire was composed with five categories: the preparation for the hospital evaluation program, the expertise levels of surveyors, the process and contents of the hospital evaluation program, the applying strategies for the result of the hospital evaluation to manager's work at their hospitals, and the main points to improve the hospital evaluation program. Result : 135 out of the 157 subjects completed the questionnaire, and the overall response rate was 86%. The hospital managers answered that they didn't have enough information such as the scoring rule of the standards, the process of the evaluation, and how to ask and get an answer to prepare the hospital evaluation. Furthermore, they estimated that the surveyors weren't specialized enough and didn't give a chance of checking over the result of the evaluation. In addition, they experienced that the result and feedback of the evaluation weren't enough information to be used as a guideline to improve in hospital management. Managers of the hospitals responded that the standards and method of survey in the hospital evaluation system should be reformed. Conclusion : Most of the responded managers seemed to have negative opinion on the hospital evaluation system, even though they were pushed up for interest in quality. Further studies and extensive evaluation of the hospital evaluation program are needed to bring up various information such as receptiveness and effectiveness.

This paper is a part of the development on the safe navigation model of tugs and barges in Korea waters. desk-top tug-barge simulator is to train the crew of tugs and barges, especially tugs' crew. It is connected with steering and engine telegraph console and winch control console, and can describe three types of operation mode for a tug-barge working unit, towing mode, side by side and push mode. It can also record and assess each simulation run. The evaluation module can confirm the result of a finished simulation run and help trainees to find and correct their faults, and it is composed of result evaluation and process evaluation.

This study is the result of meta evaluation for the self evaluation of defense R&D programs in Korea. The overall meta evaluation result of defense R&D programs gained 74.3 points out of 100, so it was evaluated as 'Good'. But it demonstrated that further improvement for overall system of defense R&D programs evaluation is required. And especially, it demonstrated that more alternatives are necessary in order to improve the utilizations and the feedbacks of evaluation results. The evaluation context component gained 80.2 points out of 100, so it was evaluated as 'Very Good'. The evaluation input component gained 73.1 points out of 100, so it was evaluated as 'Good'. The evaluation process component gained 74.8 points out of 100, so it was evaluated as 'Good'. From the analysis, it is attempted to identify possible problems and to find out the ways of improvements related to the self evaluation system of defense R&D Programs.

Basic model of meta evaluation was derived from the literature review and brain storming. And this meta evaluation model was determined by adopting the result of experts who performed evaluations for defense R&D programs in recent years. The reliability of components and items was verified by Cronbach's a coefficient. It was over 0.6 in evaluation components and items. And the reliability of evaluation context was 0.877, that of evaluation input was 0.755, that of evaluation process was 0.755, that of evaluation output was 0.755 respectively. From the analysis, it is attempted to identify possible problems and to find out the ways of improvements related to the self evaluation system of defense R&D programs. The ultimate objective of this study is to manage the programs effectively and improve the reliability and the objectiveness of the defense R&D programs.

The purpose of this study is to establish a conceptual model of the course evaluations. in University. This paper has examined the course evaluations according to the levels, purposes, objects, and methods of them. And this paper has been classified for a conceptual model of the course evaluation. As the result of this analysis, four dimensions of course evaluation have been found. First, formative and summative evaluation have been found. The purposes of formative evaluation were improving quality of courses and collecting information for improvement of curriculum. The purposes of summative evaluation were offering informations on faculty staffing and improving of learning outcomes. Second, the levels of course evaluation were classified into university-level, professor-level, and student-level. Third, the objects of course evaluation were classified into analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Forth, the methods of course evaluation were classified into questionnaire, observation, interview, and content analysis. As a result of this analysis, 120 types of course evaluations have been found.
