의료과오를 줄이기 위한 효율적인 병원서비스운영에 대한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Efficient Hospital Service Operation Management for the Reduction of Medical Errors)

  • This paper presents a research model, which identifies a relationship between medical error reduction, efficiency of organizational systems, and employee satisfaction with organizational support. The proposed model was tested through hypotheses, based on data collected from 210 respondents from the medical staff of large -sized (i.e., more than 500 beds) residential hospitals in cities of South Korea. The results of the study showed that medical error reduction is associated with corrective system and employee satisfaction with organizational support. Therefore, it is very important that organizations improve their employees' satisfaction by providing sufficient support (e.g., information support and sharing, work guide book, etc.) for their work. In addition, in organizational systems, the corrective system has positive relationship with medical error reduction. In terms of corrective procedures, leaders or managers can make improvements by providing and supporting a friendly work environment where errors may be reported without blame and discussed in order to be corrected.

Causal Relationships of Organizational Work-Family Support with Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, and Turnover Intention

  • The aim of the present study is to investigate the structural relationships of organizational work-family support, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention among Korean hotel employees. In order to achieve the study goal, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and covariance structure analysis were undertaken using SPSS(18.0) and AMOS(18.0). The result shows that organizational work-family support has a significantly positive effect on job satisfaction and it also positively impacts on organizational commitment. However, it doesn't have any significant effect on turnover intention. This study also suggests that each of job satisfaction and organizational commitment has a significantly negative effect on turnover intention. Through the abovementioned results, we can find out that each of job satisfaction and organizational commitment can completely mediate the relationship between organizational work-family support and turnover intention.

An Analysis of the Positive and Negative Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction Using Topic Modeling

  • When a competent employee leaves an organization, the technical skills and know-how possessed by that employee also disappear, which may lead to various problems, such as a decrease in organizational morale and technology leakage. To address such problems, it is important to increase employees' job satisfaction. Due to the advancement of both information and communication technology and social media, many former and current employees share information regarding companies in which they have worked or for which they currently work via job portal websites. In this study, a web crawl was used to collect reviews and job satisfaction ratings written by all and incumbent employees working in nine industries from Job Planet, a Korean job portal site. According to this analysis, regardless of the industry in question, organizational culture, welfare support, work system, growth capability and relationships had significant positive effects on job satisfaction, while time and attendance management, performance management, and organizational flexibility had significant negative effects on job satisfaction. With respect to the path difference between former and current employees, time and attendance management and organizational flexibility have greater negative effects on job satisfaction for current employees than for former employees. On the other hand, organizational culture, work system, and relationships had greater positive effects for current employees than for former employees.

창업기업의 일과 삶의 균형 효과: 조직 자부심과 업무 만족 (An Effect of Work and Life Balance of Startup: Focus on Organizational Pride and Job Satisfaction)

  • It is important for the Startup team to enhance their employee's work & life balance in recent ages. this study is to research the effect of work & life balance on organizational pride, job satisfaction and performance. Also, we explore how the organizational climate which compose with autonomy, leader's support and trust affects work & life balance. This study analyzed the path effect with PLS method using data from 151 Startup teams. The results of analysis are as follows. First, it was confirmed that supervisor's support, trust of team climate positively influence work & life balance but autonomy is not confirmed to have the relationship with work & life balance. Second, work & life balance have a positive effect on organizational pride and job satisfaction. In addition, this study shows that organizational pride and job satisfaction have the relationship between work & life balance and team performance. Also, Startup team managing the work & life balance will get better performance and retain the competition.

  • 본 연구는 광주광역시에 소재한 환대기업에 근무하는 직원들의 조직적 지원이 종사원 열정, 신뢰, 몰입, 만족간의 상호간 영향관계를 파악하고자 한다. 서비스기업에 근무하는 종사원의 현 상황을 파악함으로써 환대산업 종사자의 인적자원 관리에 대하여 고찰하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 그 결과 환대산업에서 기업의 조직지원은 종사원의 열정에 유의한 영향관계가 있다. 종사원의 열정은 조직으로 볼 수 있는 환대기업에 근무하고 있는 종사원은 업무에 대하여 신뢰, 몰입, 만족을 하는 것으로 나타나서 종사원의 열정은 신뢰, 몰입, 만족에 긍정적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 종사원의 열정은 결과적으로 서비스 상품의 질에 투영되는 만큼 이는 종사원이 자신이 담당하고 있는 업무나 재직하고 있는 회사에 대한 긍정적인 감정을 관계의 질로 생각할 수 있다. 종사원의 열정을 발휘하여 기업과 업무에 대한 신뢰, 몰입, 만족을 느낄 수 있도록 인사관리 방안이 요구된다. 따라서 일에 대한 자부심과 성취욕을 강화 시킬 수 유무형의 조직지원과 인사 관련 프로그램 도입과 실행이 이루어져야 한다.

  • The human resources of an enterprise is very important to survive in these days of business environment. This study investigates the influence of four behavioral types in MBTI (Myer-Briggs Type Indicator) and working conditions on organizational effectiveness. Job satisfaction and immersion have been regarded as a key conception of organizational effectiveness. The focus of this study is to investigate the effects of R&D employee's four behavioral types in MBTI and working conditions on organizational effectiveness. The results of this study show that organizational effectiveness is influenced by personality types and working conditions. According to the result, First, about the analysis of differences in job satisfaction, EP (Extraversion Perceiving)-type (3.56) and EJ (Extraversion Judging)-type (3.43) are higher than IJ (Introversion Judging)-type (3.07) and IP (Introversion Perceiving)-type (3.03) of four behavioral types in MBTI. So an enterprise makes various efforts to enhance job satisfaction for IJ (Introversion Judging)-type and IP (Introversion Perceiving)-type. Second, For improving the organizational effectiveness that is job satisfaction and immersion, an enterprise must make favorable working conditions to each four behavioral types in MBTI of R&D employees. In order to improve job satisfaction, the enterprise will provide IJ (Introversion Judging)-type with support for collegiality and IP (Introversion Perceiving)-type with good relationships with superiors. and also the enterprise gives autonomic authority to EJ (Extraversion Judging)-type. Finally, in the case of EP (Extraversion Perceiving)-type, the enterprise must admit failure for efforts. In order to improve job immersion, the enterprise will provide IP (Introversion Perceiving)-type with good relationships with superiors, the vision of company and compensation for creative work. and also the enterprise gives autonomic authority to EJ (Extraversion Judging)-type.

The Impact of Extrinsic Work Factors on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment at Higher Education Institutions in Vietnam

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the link between job satisfaction and organizational commitment at higher education institutions (HEIs) in emerging countries such as Vietnam and to determine extrinsic work factors that influence job satisfaction. Higher education is critical for socio-economic growth and the overall development of each country. Hence, an understanding of what motivates employees' actions and attitudes should be obtained before determining the extent of employee satisfaction. The conceptual model was developed by incorporating job satisfaction-related variables, their relationships, and the impact of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. An empirical study was conducted on a study sample of public and private universities, with 316 academics and non-academic employees surveyed. The current study employed the partial least squares structural equation modeling to test the proposed hypotheses. The results reveal a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The findings confirm that extrinsic work factors (job itself, supervision, working conditions, payment, and reward and recognition) have a positive and significant relationship with job satisfaction. Furthermore, the study indicates that employees at HEIs who have a high level of ability utilization and supervisor support are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs.

인적자원개발제도, 조직몰입, 직무만족 간의 관계 : 조직수준의 학습문화의 매개효과 검증 (The Impact of Human Resource Development on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment : Mediating Effects of Learning Culture)

  • 인적자원개발이 기업의 성과로 연결되는 과정에서 주요한 매개변수로 연구되고 있는 학습문화는 그동안 자료의 한계로 인하여 대부분 개인수준에서 회귀분석을 통하여 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 위계적 선형모형(hierarchical linear modeling)을 활용한 다수준분석(multi-level analysis)을 활용하여 조직수준의 2차변수와 개인수준의 1차변수를 통합하여 분석함과 동시에, 동일한 측정자로 인해 발생하는 동일방법편의(common method bias)를 해결하기 위해 독립변수와 종속변수의 원천을 분리함으로써 인적자원개발제도와 개인성과간의 관계를 보다 정교하게 분석하였다. 연구결과, 기업의 인적자원개발제도는 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 조직수준의 학습문화는 기업의 인적자원개발제도와 구성원의 태도(조직몰입, 직무만족) 간의 관계에서 완전매개역할을 수행하고 있었다. 또한 과거(2007년)의 인적자원개발제도는 시간이 경과하더라도 구성원의 태도(2009년)에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변수로 작용하고 있음을 실증적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 기업에서 조직구성원들의 성과(조직몰입, 직무만족)를 높이기 위해서는 교육훈련 등 체계적인 인적자원개발제도가 구축되어야하고 아울러 상시학습조직의 운영 및 학습조직에 대한 경영자의 지원 등 학습에 대한 긍정적인 문화를 정착시키고자 하는 노력이 강화되어야 한다는 결론을 도출하였다.

According to the result, First, an enterprise must make a favorable working conditions for R&D employees, the enterprise will provide R&D employees with support for collegiality and good relationship with superiors. Second, the systems of organization are significant in organizational effectiveness. Therefore, the enterprise gives the enterprise's vision and autonomic authority of business to R&D employees in order to improve organizational effectiveness. Finally, the enterprise must admit failure and compensates R&D employees for creative ideas.

병원근무자의 직무만족 요인 분석 (Job Satisfaction of Hospital Employees)

  • Purpose: To identify job satisfaction of hospital employees and the relating factors Methods: The study sample was a total of 1,031 healthcare workers(doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical engineers, office workers, etc) at a tertiary teaching hospital. The data were collected using a questionnaire developed by a expert group. The questionnaire consisted of 21 items including job characteristics, organizational culture, and personal characteristics on the five Likert scale. Results: The overall satisfaction on job characteristics was 3.24 on the five Likert scale. The satisfaction of each item was 4.14 in role clarity, 3.26 in communication participating rate, 3.10 in work variety, 3.06 in autonomy, and 2.64 in workload. The overall satisfaction on organizational culture was 3.00. Particularly, the satisfaction on collaboration was 3.83, co-worker's support. 3.73, identity, 3.62, education/training opportunity, 3.12, pay, 2.62, welfare, 2.35, promotion, 2.34, and organizational conflict, 2.00. The level of satisfaction on personal characteristics was 3.00. In the satisfaction of each item, the score of disposition was 3.83, contribution to the hospital, 3.75, pride as a member of hospital, 3.70, and attitude on job performance, 3.68. The correlation between satisfaction and other variables was statistically significant with the exception of work variety. The satisfaction related significantly to loyalty index(r=.486, p=.000), autonomy(r=.415, p=.000), pride as a member of hospital(r=.411, p=.000), supervisor support(r=.364, p=.000). Conclusions: The results showed developing organizational strategy to promote job satisfaction can decrease the turnover rate and increase loyalty to the organization. It will contribute to enhance productivity in hospital.
