초등학교 수학 시험준비전략과 시험수행전략 검사 개발 (Development of Mathematics Test-preparation and Test-taking Strategies Scales for Elementary School Students)

  • 이 연구는 초등학교 수학 시험준비전략과 시험수행전략 검사를 개발하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초등학생 9명을 대상으로 반구조화면접을 시행하여 시험준비전략 및 시험수행전략의 요인을 도출하고 요인별 문항을 개발한 다음, 초등교원 및 전문가의 내용타당도 검토를 거쳤다. 또한 G광역시 소재 13개 초등학교 6학년 학생 857명을 대상으로 변수중심 검사타당화를 시도하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수학 시험준비전략 및 시험수행전략 검사에서 각각 인지전략, 메타인지전략, 학습자원관리전략의 3요인이 도출되었다. 둘째, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석을 사용하여 타당화한 결과, 3요인 23문항의 수학 시험준비전략 검사와 3요인 24문항의 수학 시험수행전략 검사가 구성되었다. 이 연구에서 개발한 검사를 이용하여 초등학생 수학 시험준비전략과 시험수행전략의 각 요인별 수준을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 각 요인별 전략을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발이 가능할 것으로 본다.

초등학교 입문기 학생들의 수학 학습 능력 실태 조사 (Study on the examination of the first graders' mathematics learning abilities in elementary school)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the first graders' mathematics learning abilities in elementary school. To do this, I examined the first graders on their mathematics learning abilities, and analyzed the test results. Although all of the evaluation factors are composed the mathematical contents which are taught in elementary school, the correct answer rate of them were very high. The results of this study will be used as the basis. for developing the mathematics curriculum and textbook in elementary school. Also first grade teachers can use the results of this study as a basis when they plan a instruction for the first graders.

예비초등교사의 학습동기 전략에 관한 연구 (Motivated Strategies for Learning of Prospective Elementary School Teachers)

  • According to changing the society rapidly in the 21s1 century, the self-regulated learning ability is considered as an ability of which people should carry on their lives. The purpose of this study was to investigate prospective elementary school teachers in mathematics teaching method class in terms of the following areas: (1) the degree of their abilities shown the lower level factors of motivated strategies for learning such as self-efficacy, intrinsic value, anxiety, cognitive strategy use, and self-regulation (2) relations between factors of motivated strategies for loaming and performance of prospective elementary school teachers The results show that the prospective elementary school teachers showed above the mean value of the motivated strategies for learning and there are positive relations among lower level factors of motivated strategies fur learning except anxiety, positive relation between motivated strategies for learning and achievement. In order to help the prospective elementary school teacher to improve their motivated strategies fur learning in their elementary mathematics teaching method lecture, several methods such as mathematical connections to real world problem, history of mathematics and interview with mathematicians and application of feller's ARCS model to elementary mathematics education are suggested.

수학학습에 대한 불안요인 연구 (A Study of Anxiety Factor for the Learning of Mathematics)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of anxiety factors for learning mathematics and look into the reason of anxiety of mathematics and show the method of eliminating negative and anxious factors in elementary school, secondary school and high school. To have learner take an interest in learning mathematics, develop the positive attitude about learning mathematics and maximize the effect of learning of mathematics, three kinds of hypotheses are established as follows: 1. There would be difference in anxiety factor of learning mathematics according to elementary school, secondary school and high school. 2. There would be difference in anxiety factor of learning mathematics according to sex. 3. There be difference in anxiety factor of learning mathematics according to the level of achievement. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Hypotheses I was testified. The anxiety factor between mathematics learning and mathematics teacher was significant difference according to elementary school, secondary school and high school. 2. Hypotheses II was testified. The result of hypotheses II was significant difference only in high school. The anxiety factor of mathematics teacher was significant difference according to boy student and girl student. 3. Hypotheses III was testified. The anxiety factor of mathematics, teacher and test was significant difference only in elementary school and high school.

A Case Study on Evaluating the Teaching of Mathematics in Korea

  • This study was executed in M elementary school for a week, T elementary school for a week, N high school for a week, and S high school for a week in 2000. There were mathematics teacher interviews, mathematics classroom observations, and student interviews in each school. We can draw the conclusion from this study as follows. Firstly, the teaching of mathematics in both elementary and high school was very good in the standard of mathematical concepts, procedures, and connection. Secondly, it is very good in the standard of mathematics as problem solving, reasoning, and communication. Thirdly, it is not so good in the standard of promoting mathematical disposition. Fourthly, it is good in elementary schools, but not in high schools regarding the standard of assessing students' understanding of mathematics. Fifthly, it is very good in elementary schools, but not so good in high schools regarding the standard of learning environments.

  • 본 연구는 AI를 수학 수업에 사용하려는 초등학교 교사의 의도에 미치는 요인들에 대해 살펴보고 수학 수업에서 AI가 효과적으로 사용되기 위해 선행되어야할 요인을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기술수용모델(Technology Acceptance Model)을 사용하여 초등학교 교사의 TPACK과 TAM 사이의 구조적 관계를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 초등학교 교사들의 TPACK은 인지된 사용 용이성과 유용성에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 인지된 사용 용이성과 인지된 유용성은 수학 수업에서 AI 활용에 대한 태도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 인지된 사용 용이성, 인지된 유용성, 태도는 수학 수업에서의 AI 사용 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 초등학교 교사들이 수학 수업에서 AI에 대한 TPACK 역량이 높다고 인식할수록 수학 수업에서 AI를 사용하기가 더 쉽고 AI가 학생의 수학 학습 향상에 도움이 되는 유용한 도구로 인식할 수 있음을 의미한다. 또한 수학 수업에서 AI가 쉽게 사용할 수 있고 유용하다고 인식할수록 AI 사용 의도가 높아질 수 있다. 따라서 초등학교 교사들이 수학 수업에서 AI의 활용하려면 TPACK에 관한 지식 교육이 선행되어야하며, 수학 수업에서 AI 사용의 이점과 편리성에 대한 인식 개선이 함께 이루어져야 한다.

그림그리기 전략을 통한 초.중등수학의 연립방정식 지도 연결성 강화 (Crossing the Gap between Elementary School Mathematics and Secondary School Mathematics: The Case of Systems of Linear Equations)

  • 이 논문은 이원일차연립방정식과 관련하여 초등수학과 중등수학의 연결성 문제를 분석한 것이다. 초등학교 수학 교과서와 중학교 수학 교과서에서 이원일차연립방정식 문장제가 다루어지는 방식을 연결성 측면에서 분석하고, 연결성을 강화하는 접근법을 제안하였다. 교과서 분석 결과 이원일차연립방정식 문장제에 대한 초등학교 수학 교과서와 중학교 수학 교과서의 접근법이 서로 연결되어 있지 않았다. 이에 이 논문에서는 이원일차연립방정식 문장제 해결에 그림그리기 전략을 도입하여 초등수학과 중등수학의 연결성을 강화하는 방안을 한 초등 6학년 아동의 사례를 통해 제시하였다.

일제강점기 조선총독부의 초등학교 수학 교과서 발행 실태 조사 연구 (A historical research on the actual state of the publication of elementary school mathematics textbooks by the Government-General of Joseon during the Japanese colonial period)

  • In the history of elementary school mathematics education in Korea, the period led by the Government-General of Joseon during the Japanese colonial period cannot be omitted. As a way to grasp the real state of elementary school mathematics education at that time, there is a method of analyzing elementary school mathematics textbooks published by the Government-General of Joseon. However, the actual state of the publication of them was not sufficiently known. For this reason, this study surveys the actual state of the publication of those textbooks. To this end, real information on textbooks owned currently by various institutions and information on the publication of those textbooks in the official gazette and documents of the Government-General of Joseon were checked and organized.

수학학습유형과 학년에 따른 초등학생의 수학불안에 관한 연구 (Mathematics Anxiety by Mathematical Learning Style and the Grade in School: Elementary School Students)

  • In this study of mathematics anxiety, mathematical learning style, and grade in school, 1,264 elementary students completed the Mathematics Anxiety Scale(Lee, 2005) and the Mathematical Learning Style Scale(Yang & Whang, 2005) for elementary school students. Analysis of their responses showed that anxiety about mathematics increased with grade in school. Among sub-factors of mathematics anxiety, the subject itself, learners' attitude, and learning environment increased the anxiety of upper grade students. Motivation, initiative, and regulation styles of learning mathematics were found to be important factors in the mathematics anxiety of elementary school students.

  • Discrete mathematics is as important as it was reformed as an optional subject in the middle school and high school in the 7th national curriculum. There are a lot of studies about discrete mathematics in the middle course but studies about it in elementary course has little performed. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept of discrete mathematics, which is hidden in the mathematics textbook of elementary school and to develop the learning materials of discrete mathematics. Through this, it would make the students to have the sharp insight in their daily lift and mathematical experience by learning: the mathematical inquiry and adaptation.
