  • The aim of this paper is to study certain subclass ${\tilde{S^q_{\Sigma}}}({\lambda},\,{\alpha},\,t,\,s,\,p,\,b)$ of analytic and bi-univalent functions which are defined by using symmetric q-derivative operator. We estimate the second and third coefficients of the Taylor-Maclaurin series expansions belonging to the subclass and upper bounds for Feketo-Szegö inequality. Furthermore, some relevant connections of certain special cases of the main results with those in several earlier works are also pointed out.

  • We introduce a new type of fractional derivative, which we call as the right local general truncated M-fractional derivative for α-differentiable functions that generalizes the fractional derivative type introduced by Anastassiou. This newly defined operator generalizes the standard properties and results of the integer order calculus viz. the Rolle's theorem, the mean value theorem and its extension, inverse property, the fundamental theorem of calculus and the theorem of integration by parts. Then we represent a relation of the newly defined fractional derivative with known fractional derivative and in context with this derivative a physical problem, Kirchoff's voltage law, is generalized. Also, the importance of this newly defined operator with respect to the flexibility in the parametric values is described via the comparison of the solutions in the graphs using MATLAB software.

  • In this paper, we consider two kinds of derivatives for the shape operator of a real hypersurface in a $K{\ddot{a}}hler$ manifold which are named the Lie derivative and the covariant derivative with respect to the k-th generalized Tanaka-Webster connection ${\hat{\nabla}}^{(k)}$. The purpose of this paper is to study Hopf hypersurfaces in complex Grassmannians of rank two, whose Lie derivative of the shape operator coincides with the covariant derivative of it with respect to ${\hat{\nabla}}^{(k)}$ either in direction of any vector field or in direction of Reeb vector field.

  • In this article the Srivastava-Owa-Ruscheweyh fractional derivative operator $\mathcal{L}^{\alpha}_{a,{\lambda}}$ is applied for defining and studying some new subclasses of analytic functions in the unit disk E. Inclusion results, radius problem and other results related to Bernardi integral operator are also discussed. Some applications related to conic domains are given.

  • This article is devoted to “forgotten” and rarely used technique of matrix analysis, introduced in 60-70th and enhanced by authors. We will study the matrix trace operator and it’s differentiability. This idea generalizes the notion of scalar derivative for matrix computations. The list of the most common derivatives is given at the end of the article. Additionally we point out a close connection of this technique with a least square problem in it’s classical and generalized case.

  • We study a real hypersurface M satisfying $L_{\xi}S=0\;and\;R_{\xi}S=SR_{\xi}$ in a complex hyperbolic space $H_n\mathbb{C}$, where S is the Ricci tensor of type (1,1) on M, $L_{\xi}\;and\;R_{\xi}$ denotes the operator of the Lie derivative and the Jacobi operator with respect to the structure vector field e respectively.

  • Making use of a certain operator of fractional derivative, a new subclass $L_p({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma},{\lambda})$) of analytic and p-valent functions is introduced in the present paper. Apart from various coefficient bounds, many interesting and useful properties of this class of functions are given, some of these properties involve, for example, linear combinations and modified Hadamard product of several functions belonging to the class introduced here.

  • Let S denote the class of analytic and univalent functions in the open unit disk $D=\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}<1\}$ with the normalization conditions f(0) = 0 and f'(0) = 1. In the present article, an upper bound for third order Hankel determinant $H_3(1)$ is obtained for a certain subclass of univalent functions generated by Ruscheweyh derivative operator.

  • In this paper, a new subclass, 𝒮𝒞𝜇,p,q𝜎 (r, s; x), of Sakaguchitype analytic bi-univalent functions defined by (p, q)-derivative operator using Horadam polynomials is constructed and investigated. The initial coefficient bounds for |a2| and |a3| are obtained. Fekete-Szegö inequalities for the class are found. Finally, we give some corollaries.

  • The paper presents the introduction of a novel linear derivative operator for meromorphic functions that are linked with q-calculus. Using the linear derivative operator, a new category of meromorphic functions is generated in the paper. We obtain sufficient conditions and show some properties of functions belonging to these subclasses. The partial sums of its sequence and the q-neighborhoods problem are solved.
