A STUDY OF RAMANUJAN τ(n) NUMBER AND DEDEKIND ETA-FUNCTION

  • In this paper, we consider properties of Dedekind eta-function, modular discrimiant, thata-series and Weierstrass ${\wp}$-function. We prove the integrablities of ${\Delta}({\tau})$ and ${\eta}({\tau})$. Also, we give explicit formulae about ${\Delta}({\tau})$ and ${\tau}(n)$.

자침이 뇌에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Acupuncture on the Brain in Human)

  • This study was carried to identify whether acupuncture of several acupuncture points can affect the brain and to observe which aspects appear in EEG mapping, using electroencephalography. Those results are as follows ; 1. The pattern of resting computerized EEG map in intact human is appered normal 2. Each Acupuncture in Kwan Weon or Jog Sam Ri meridian points bring about the increase in $\theta,\;\alpha-wave$ activity and at various area of the cerebrium and the decrease in $\delta,\;\beta-wave$ activity. It strands to reason that brain function is elevated On the other hand , synchronous acupuncture bring about the decrease of brain function in view of the decrease of $\delta,\;\theta-wave$ activity at frontal area, and the unstable brain state in view of the increase of $\beta-wave$ activity. 3. Acupuncture in Hyeon Jong meridian point bring about the increase of $\delta,\;\theta-wave$ activity at frontal area and $\beta-wave$ activity at temporal area. From these we deduce that brain function is declined and brain is unstable. Synchronous acupuncture with other meridian points reversly showed that brain function is elevated. 4. Synchronous acupuncture in Kwan Weon , Jog Sam Ri, Hyeon Jong bring about the decrease of the brain function and the unstable brain state, showing the pattern of increased $\delta,\;\theta-wave$ activity at frontal, parietal area, and increased $\beta-wave$ activity at temporal area.

  • In this article, we mainly use Nevanlinna theory to investigate some special difference equations of malmquist type such as $f^2+({\Delta}_cf)^2={\beta}^2$, $f^2+({\Delta}_cf)^2=R$, $f{^{\prime}^2}+({\Delta}_cf)^2=R$ and $f^2+(f(z+c))^2=R$, where ${\beta}$ is a nonzero small function of f and R is a nonzero rational function respectively. These discussions extend one related result due to C. C. Yang et al. in some sense

  • We prove a norm inequality of the form $\left\$\mid$ \upsilon \right\$\mid$ \leq (r - 1) \left\$\mid$ u \right\$\mid$_p, 1 < p < \infty$, between a non-negative subharmonic function u and a smooth function $\upsilon$ satisfying $$\mid$\upsilon(0)$\mid$ \leq u(0), $\mid$\nabla\upsilon$\mid$ \leq \nabla u$\mid$$ and $\mid$\Delta\upsilon$\mid$ \leq \alpha\Delta u$, where $\alpha$ is a constant with $0 \leq \alpha \leq 1$. This inequality extends Burkholder's inequality where $\alpha = 1$.

  • Let f be a measurable function on the unit ball B in $C^n$, then we define a maximal function $M_p(f), 1 \leq p < \infty$, by $$ M_p(f)(\zeta ) = \sup_{\delta > 0}(\frac{1}{\sigma(\beta(\zeta, \delta))} \int_{T(\beta(\zeta, \delta))} $\mid$f(z)$\mid$^p \frac{d\nu(z)}{(1-$\mid$z$\mid$^n})^{1/p} $$ where $\sigma$ denotes the surface area measure on S, the boundary of B, and $T(\beta(\zeta, \delta))$ denotes the tent over the ball $\beta(\zeta, \delta)$. We prove that the maximal operator $M_p$ belongs to the Muckenhoupt class $A_1$.

  • This paper is mainly concerned with the formation of delta standing wave for the scalar conservation law with a linear flux function involving discontinuous coefficients by using the self-similar viscosity vanishing method. More precisely, we use the self-similar viscosity to smooth out the discontinuous coefficient such that the existence of approximate viscous solutions to the delta standing wave for the Riemann problem is established and then the convergence to the delta standing wave solution is also obtained when the viscosity parameter tends to zero. In addition, the Riemann problem is also solved with the standard method and the instability of Riemann solutions with respect to the specific small perturbation of initial data is pointed out in some particular situations.

수치해석적인 방법으로 규명한 정렬된 단축이방성 분자들의 질서변수와 상대 복굴절의 준선형 관계식 (The Explicitly Quasi-linear Relation Between the Order Parameter and Normalized Birefringence of Aligned Uniaxially Anisotropic Molecules Determined Using a Numerical Method)

  • 액정과 같은 단축 이방성 분자들의 정렬 정도에 따라 달라지는 복굴절으로부터 상대 복굴절 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$를 구하고 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$과 방향질서변수(orientational order parameter) S의 관계를 탐색하였다. 무질서한 분포를 하고 있는 경우를 포함하여 액정의 정렬정도를 달리 표현할 수 있는 분포함수를 도입하고 이 분포함수를 사용하여 질서변수 S가 0부터 1까지 변하도록 액정분자들의 정렬정도를 달리하며 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$과 S를 수치계산 하였다. 이 계산 결과로부터 s와 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$$S=(1+a){\Delta}n_{rel}-a{\Delta}n^2_{rel}$와 같이 준선형적인 관계를 만족하며 a는 $n_o{\frac{{\Delta}n}{4}}$으로 근사할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 복굴절으로부터 Vuks의 방법에 따라 구한 분자분극의 이방성과 Neugebauer의 방법에 따라 구한 분자분극의 이방성이 각각 질서변수 S와 또 다른 준선형 관계식들을 따름을 보였다.

Some Difference Paranormed Sequence Spaces over n-normed Spaces Defined by a Musielak-Orlicz Function

  • In the present paper we introduce difference paranormed sequence spaces $c_0(\mathcal{M},{\Delta}^n_m,p,u,{\parallel}{\cdot},{\cdots},{\cdot}{\parallel})$, $c(\mathcal{M},{\Delta}^n_m,p,u,{\parallel}{\cdot},{\cdots},{\cdot}{\parallel})$ and $l_{\infty}(\mathcal{M},{\Delta}^n_m,p,u,{\parallel}{\cdot},{\cdots},{\cdot}{\parallel})$ defined by a Musielak-Orlicz function $\mathcal{M}$ = $(M_k)$ over n-normed spaces. We also study some topological properties and some inclusion relations between these spaces.

비평활 발전비용함수를 가진 동적 경제급전문제의 교환 최적화 (A Swap Optimization for Dynamic Economic Dispatch Problem with Non-smooth Function)

  • 본 논문은 동적 경제급전의 최적화 문제를 풀기 위해 교환 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 첫 번째로, 발전단가 $C_i^{max}/P_i^{max}$가 비싼 발전기는 가동을 중지시키는 개념을 도입하여 총 요구량 $P_d$와 총 발전량 ${\Sigma}P_i$의 균형을 맞추었다. 다음으로 발전량을 $P_i=P_i{\pm}{\Delta}$, (${\Delta}$=1.0, 0.1, 0.01, 0.001)에 대해 $_{max}[F(P_i)-F(P_i-{\Delta})]$ > $_{min}[F(P_j+{\Delta})-F(P_j)]$, $i{\neq}j$이면 $P_i=P_i-{\Delta}$, $P_j=P_j+{\Delta}$로 발전량을 교환하는 방법을 적용하였다. 동적 경제급전 문제의 시험사례에 제안된 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 기존의 휴리스틱 알고리즘 최적화 발전비용을 크기 감소시켜 경제적인 이익을 극대화 시켰다.
