In this paper, we study the pseudo-symmetry of unit tangent sphere bundle. We prove that if the unit tangent sphere bundle $T_1M$ with standard contact metric structure over a locally symmetric $M^n$, $n{\geq}3$ is pseudo-symmetric, then M is of constant curvature.

In this paper, let M = B×_f² F be an Einstein Lorentzian warped product manifold with 2-dimensional base. We study the geodesic completeness of some metric with constant curvature. First of all, we discuss the existence of nonconstant warping functions on M. As the results, we have some metric g admits nonconstant warping functions f. Finally, we consider the geodesic completeness on M.

A complex n-dimensional Kaehlerian manifold of constant holomorphic sectional curvature c is called a comples space form, which is denoted by $M_n(c)$. A complete and simply connected complex space form consists of a complex projective space $P_nC$, a complex Euclidean space $C^n$ or a complex hyperbolic space $H_nC$, according as c > 0, c = 0 or c < 0. The induced almost contact metric structure of a real hypersurface M of $M_n(c)$ is denoted by $(\phi, \zeta, \eta, g)$.

Increasing demands on precision machining of 3D free-form surface have necessitated the tool smoothly varying feedrates. This paper presents on of algorithm for adaptive feedrate on NURBS curve. Since the algorithm for calculating variable feedrate depends on the curvature of curve, it permits to get constant material tool can be protected un terms of tool chipping vibration, etc.

In this paper, the visco-Da-Rios equation; (0.1) ($$\frac{{\partial}{\gamma}}{{\partial}t}=\frac{{\partial}{\gamma}}{{\partial}s}{\bigwedge}\frac{D}{ds}\frac{{\partial}{\gamma}}{{\partial}s}+{\nu}\frac{{\partial}{\gamma}}{{\partial}s}$$) is investigated on 3-dimensional complete orientable Riemannian manifolds. The global existence of solution is discussed by trans-forming (0.1) into a cubic nonlinear Schrodinger equation for complete orient able Riemannian 3-manifolds of constant curvature.

We examine the relationship of the shape operator of a surface of Euclidean 3-space with its Gauss map of pointwise 1-type. Surfaces with constant mean curvature and right circular cones with respect to some properties of the shape operator are characterized when their Gauss map is of pointwise 1-type.

A problem of approximation by irrational splines is considered. These splines have a constant curvature between interpolation nodes and need only one additional boundary condition for derivatives, which should be set only at one of two boundary nodes, that is impossible for usual polynomial splines required boundary conditions at both boundary nodal points. Some estimations for numerical differentiation and rounding error analysis are presented.

The helicoidal surface is a generalization of rotation surface in a Minkowski space. We study helicoidal surfaces in a Minkowski 3-space in terms of their Gauss map and provide some examples of new classes of helicoidal surfaces with constant mean curvature in a Minkowski 3-space.

Let M be a complete Riemannian manifold and let N be a Riemannian manifold of non-positive sectional curvature. Assume that $Ric^M{\geq}-\frac{4(p-1)}{p^2}{\mu}_0$ at all $x{\in}M$ and Vol(M) is infinite, where ${\mu}_0$ > 0 is the infimum of the spectrum of the Laplacian acting on $L^2$-functions on M. Then any p-harmonic map ${\phi}:M{\rightarrow}N$ of finite p-energy is constant Also, we study Liouville type theorem for p-harmonic morphism.

In the present paper, we introduce the notions of quaternionically planar curves and quaternionically projective transformations to the case of almost quaternionic manifold with symmetric affine connection. Also, we obtain an invariant tensor field under the quaternionically projective transformation, and show that a quaternionic Kahlerian manifold with such a vanishing tensor field is of constant Q-sectional curvature.
