Ultimately, this research will focus on the activity traits of future customers in the convergence age. To accomplish that, firstly, researcher develop measures for assessing the convergence level of digital devices and digital services. Next, this will investigate the behavioral traits of people who use specific devices or services on the internet or mobile networks. This study proposed five convergence measures each for devices and services. For digital devices, measures such as converged functions, accessibility to network, portability, immediate communicability, and expandibility of functions were utilized. For digital measures such as scope of users, newness, social network level, ease-of use on mobile networks, and expandibility of information were used. We believe that the research results can provide insights for those wishing to explore the convergence level of devices and services and those developing high-level converged devices and digital services.
This study aims to examine the current status of Korean and overseas science and arts convergence programs in and out of schools to apply them in school education settings and to learn about the characteristics of overseas programs through case studies. In addition, it explores implications of the current domestic and overseas for implementation in schools. For this study, we selected 193 domestic in-school science and arts convergence programs and 106 domestic out-of-school programs. For the overseas programs, we selected those conducted by the government, research institutes, science halls, and art galleries. We also analyzed the domestic in-school programs by type of students, operation hours, areas of convergence, and the function and role of arts activities. We analyzed domestic out-of-school programs by operation time, operation method, areas of convergence, and type of activities. Moreover, we examined the overseas programs in terms of their program developers, goals, and characteristics. These findings suggest that in order for science and arts convergence education to become well established in Korean schools, it is necessary to develop programs that can be incorporated into the present science education curriculum, rather than individual content or a single class on science and arts convergence, and to diversify the range of programs. In addition, out-of-school programs should be actively considered, and intense discussions on the use of program activities and teaching materials are needed. Finally, research institutes and educational institutions should be closely linked to achieve a common goal.
This study was conducted concerning convergence education practice to examine the difference of learning activity participation based on college students' individual traits such as gender, grade and major. To achieve the purpose, the types of learning activity were divided into teacher-directed type, teacher-intervened type, peer-leader type, students' mutual initiative type, and then the difference of types of participation in learning activities based on learners' traits was examined. The results of crosstabs showed that there were differences in the participation of learning activities depending on the students' individual traits. The participation of girl students in gender, first year students in school-year, and students of Health & Social Service in major was significantly high.
This study was to verify the effects of education in expression activity and various convergence education found in the class scene of one elementary school man teather to research of qualitative pattern and analyzes how it is expanded. This study were made through two class participation observation and six video analysis. In addition, we measured in-depth interviews of participants and students, a 10-week jump band training program, and applied a step-by-step physical activity program to enhance creative expressiveness. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions are as follows. First, It was found that the Jump-band training positively affects the students' speed, agility, and cardiopulmonary endurance. Second, It was found that the application of the step-by-step physical expression activity program had a positive effect on the students themselves. Third, It was found that it has an educational effect on the whole life of students beyond the curriculum and the field by attempting various fusion education. Based on this study, we propose the educational effects of the pre - curricular activities and the convergence lessons in elementary school during the follow - up research.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of patient safety competence and teamwork on patient safety management activities in operating room nurse. The survey was 110 nurses with in the operating room of the general hospital, using self-report questionnaire. Stepwise regression analysis were used. Older group and those with higher levels of education status were significantly associated with high scores on patient safety competence. Patient safety competence and safety management activities showed a significant positive correlation, and teamwork and safety management activities showed a significant positive correlation. Regression analysis showed that patient safety competence and awareness of teamwork had a significant impact on patient safety management activities and the explanatory power of these variables was 15.7%. In conclusion, efforts are needed to improve patient safety competence and teamwork in order to improve patient safety management activities in operating room nurse, and further studies on other variables affecting patient safety management activities are needed.
Cyber hackings are increasing and becoming more intelligent. The government and private companies conduct various information protection activities by investing lots of money and employing security personnel to protect import ant assets and personal information. It is important to evaluate the efficiency of the information protection activities that cost lots of money and manpower. However, the studies on the efficiency of the information protection activities were mainly conducted for government agencies the information of which is more readily available. This study suggests a model that can evaluate the efficiency of the activities of information protection and information security certification of various private companies. Our model evaluates the efficiency of the information protection activities by applying AHP and DEA on the information that are publicly announced by the private companies. Our model identifies the DMUs that are efficiently operated and suggests the improvement policies for the DMU that are non-efficiently operated.
The technical standard is an important factor in the national economy, and its importance is gaining more attention due to the emergence of the convergence industry. This is an essential element for implementing fusion technology because it ensures interoperability. Since standardization activities are essential for the growth of domestic SMEs, this study aims to diagnose the status of standardization activities of SMEs and to suggest policy directions accordingly. And we sought to clarify the status of the standardization activities of domestic SMEs and to draw some implications for the domestic promotion plan by examining the major promotion policies for overseas standardization successfully. As a result, it was found that the investment cost for the standard activities is burdensome, the professional manpower is needed, and the participation of SMEs is low due to the complexity of the standard technology. In addition, standardization activities have weaknesses in terms of technology protection, and SMEs tend to avoid technology disclosure. Therefore, in order to solve the difficulties of standardization of companies, it is necessary to establish cooperation system of supporting organizations. In order to promote standardization activities, it is necessary to establish legal basis necessary for technology protection.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the beauty Probono activities and to find ways to revitalize the related activities. Styela clava tunic is generated in large amounts as a waste from S. clava processing plants and leads to environmental problems. It destroys the beach scenery and causes a bad smell and pollution by trashing on the seashore. Therefore, purpose of this study was to investigate antioxidant and antihypertensive activities of different solvent extracts from S. clava tunic for recycling of fishery waste. Antioxidant and antihypertensive activities of all extracts were concentration-dependent. Of extracts, hot water extract showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity with the lowest effective concentration ($EC_{50}$) value (0.733 mg/ml). Chloroform extract exhibited the highest metal chelation activity with the lowest $EC_{50}$ value (2.696 mg/ml). Autoclaved water extract showed the highest NO radical scavenging activity with the lowest $EC_{50}$ value (0.491 mg/ml) and n-hexane extract showed the highest reducing power ($A_{700}=1.897$ at 100 mg/ml). And n-butanol extract showed the highest SOD-like activity with the lowest $EC_{50}$ value (19.116 mg/ml) and ACE inhibition activity with the lowest inhibitory concentration($IC_{50}$) value (0.149 mg/ml). These results indicate that extracts obtained from S. clava tunic may potential candidate to reduce diseases caused by various oxidative stresses and hypertension.
