For the frequency-domain spectral fatigue analysis, the probability density function of stress range needs to be estimated based on the stress spectrum only, which is a frequency domain representation of the response. The probability distribution of the stress range of the narrow-band spectrum is known to follow the Rayleigh distribution, however the PDF of wide-band spectrum is difficult to define with clarity due to the complicated fluctuation pattern of spectrum. In this paper, efforts have been made to figure out the links between the probability density function of stress range to the structural response of wide-band Gaussian random process. An artificial neural network scheme, known as one of the most powerful system identification methods, was used to identify the multivariate functional relationship between the idealized wide-band spectrums and resulting probability density functions. To achieve this, the spectrums were idealized as a superposition of two triangles with arbitrary location, height and width, targeting to comprise wide-band spectrum, and the probability density functions were represented by the linear combination of equally spaced Gaussian basis functions. To train the network under supervision, varieties of different wide-band spectrums were assumed and the converged probability density function of the stress range was derived using the rainflow counting method and all these data sets were fed into the three layer perceptron model. This nonlinear least square problem was solved using Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm with regularization term included. It was proven that the network trained using the given data set could reproduce the probability density function of arbitrary wide-band spectrum of two triangles with great success.

The purpose of this study is to identify the double mediating the effects of social support and self-esteem in the relationship between the subjective social class and the suicide thoughts of middle aged men and women. The subjective social class was analyzed in a parallel double-mediated model to check the mediating effect of self-esteem and social support on the idea of suicide. Social support and self-respect, which are mediating variables of subjective social class on suicide idea, both were a statistically significant. Putting the results of this study together, it is essential to establish a living-based social support system for middle-aged adults. This will contribute to improving self-esteem among middle-aged adults.

Improving performance needs Creativity and Improving Creativity needs clear communication of work orders in technology development projects. This study empirically analyzed the effects of team efficacy and knowledge sharing on communication competence and the effects of communication competence on individual creativity and product development performance. The purpose of this study is to verify the importance of communication and personal creativity in technology development projects and to suggest ways to improve communication capabilities. A survey was conducted of participants in technology development and the relationship between variables was confirmed by the structural equation model. The results show that team efficacy and knowledge sharing had a positive effect on communication competence, and that the clear delivery and understanding of team orders were the main factors in improving individual creativity. The results of this study will contribute to improving the communication competence of participants who are required for improving individual creativity in technology development projects in which high technology is converged. In the future, we will study the effects of Communication Competence on Organizational Creativity.

In this day and age physical and cyber boundaries have converged due to the development of new technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Cyber Physical System (CPS). As the relationship between physical system and cyber technology strengthens, more diverse and complex forms of risk emerge. As a result, it is becoming difficult for single organization or government to fully handle this situation alone and cooperation based on information sharing and the strengthening of active defense systems are needed. Shifting to a system in which information suitable for various entities can be shared and automatically responded to is also necessary. Therefore, this study tries to find improvements for the current system of threat information collecting and sharing that can actively and practically maintain cyber defense posture, focusing particularly on the structuring of information sharing platforms. To achieve our objective, we use a risk communication theory from the safety field and propose a new platform by combining an action-oriented security process model.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between depression and stress self-esteem, self-efficacy and nursing students influence factors. This study is a descriptive research study of 116 nursing college students in 3rd graders at two c, h colleges in c area. The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 21.0 program, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, and Pearson correlation coefficient calculation and multiple regression analysis. Data collection took place from October 2017 to December 2017. The factors affecting depression were stress (${\beta}=0.246$, p=.000), self-efficacy(${\beta}=-.170$, p=.000) and self-esteem(${\beta}=-.131$, p=.000). In order to prevent depression in nursing college students, it is necessary to investigate the cause of depression and the degree of depression, and to reduce the depression and find ways to counteract emotional health problems.

This paper investigates the mechanical characteristics of reinforced lightweight soil (RLS) using waste fishing net. RLS used in this experiment consists of dredged soil taken from construction site of Busan New Port, cement, air foam and waste fishing net. Several series of laboratory tests were performed to compare behavior characteristics between RLS and unreinforced lightweight soil, in which the reinforced effect by waste fishing net on RLS was evaluated. The experimental results of RLS indicated that the stress-strain relationship and the unconfined compressive strength are strongly influenced by the content of waste fishing net. Compressive strength of RLS Increased with the increase in curing time and generally increased by adding waste fishing net, but the amount of increase in compressive strength was not proportional to the content of waste fishing net. In this test, the maximum increase in compressive strength was obtained at 0.25% content of waste fishing net. On the other hand, water content of RLS rapidly decreased up to 7 days of curing time and converged to constant value.

The purpose of this study is to analyse characteristics of roughness coefficient based on bed-material size of the gravel-bed rivers using field data obtained from nine domestic rivers. Roughness coefficient is calculated using Manning's equation. Roughness coefficient decreases with increasing discharge, but above a certain discharge, it tends to be constant. Similarly, roughness coefficient shows reverse relationship with relative smoothness (R/D). The regression equation adopting theoretically derived value of 2.03 as log coefficient indicates close similarity with the previous equation proposed by Limerinos (1970). Roughness coefficient values converged above certain discharges lie in the range from 0.024 to 0.045. From them, empirical equations based only on bed-material size are derived and compared with those suggested by the previous studies.

Recently, the importance of 'character' is widely acknowledged by practitioners and academic arena. Character is the archetype of design product. Unfortunately, however, there have been limited character design studies. The purpose of this study is to identify the components of character design and then to verify the causal relationships among them. The research model of the current study is developed based upon the past studies on the consumer response model related to the product design. The result of the study shows that the dimensions of character design are converged into upper dimensions, including such as character appearance, character image, and character attachment with each lower dimensions, respectively. An analysis of relationship among these variables indicates that while the character appearance tends to trigger character image, the character image leads to character attachment. In addition, both the character image and the character attachment have a positive influence on the loyalty of the character. Understanding of the paths among consumers' responses will be able to be a good guideline for establishing character design strategy. And, finally, the authors discuss some theoretical contributions and managerial implications.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between authentic leadership of nursing managers and team creativity: the mediation role of positive psychological capital. The study participants were 124 staff nurses. The measurements included authentic leadership, psychological capital and team creativity. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient and Baron and Kenny's three-level hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS 25.0 to identify correlation among variables and mediating effect of positive psychological capital. The research results indicated that the higher the authentic leadership, the higher the team's creativity and the higher the nurse's positive psychological capital and confirmed that positive psychological capital has a partial mediating effect in the relationship between authentic leadership and team creativity. The findings suggest that in order to improve the team creativity of staff nurses, converged organizational behavior management strategies are needed to improve the authentic leadership of managers perceived by staff nurses and the positive psychological capital of staff nurses.

Cooperating with a supplier with professional skills is necessary to achieve performance in the development of the innovative products. It is also important to improve development competence and share knowledge. This study empirically analyzed the effect of participant's Job Competence and Leadership Competence on Knowledge Sharing, and the effect of Purchaser Interdependence on Supplier Absorption Capacity. The purpose of the study is to confirm that Knowledge Sharing between Development Participant and Supplier contributes to Performance and to demonstrate the need for a cooperative relationship with the Supplier. A survey was conducted on the product development participants to confirm the relationship between the factors using a Structural Equation Model. As a result of the hypothesis test, the better the Individual Competence of the development participants, the better the Knowledge Sharing Activity, and then Knowledge Sharing and Interdependence are the main factor in the Absorption Capacity of the Supplier. The results of this study can contribute to improving the Supplier Absorption Capacity in the product development projects in which high technology is converged. In the future, we will study the effects of the project support activities of related departments for Performance.
