  • The purpose of this study is to develop high-valued added socks by utilizing consumer design preference research in design. The study was performed by investigating literatures including previous studies, and researching the recognition and design preference of consumers. As a final step, socks designs were developed to reflect the results of the research. Gender differences have been found in the choice of socks. Women put more importance to the design, color and trend and prefer geometric, animals and plants patterns, and unique images compared to men. In terms of fashion interest level, 'high' group preferred design, color, and trend than 'middle' and 'low' group, and also preferred geometric, abstract patterns. Women's and unisex socks were designed for people in their 20s, the age group with the highest level of interest in fashion, after taking results of the consumer design preference research into account. Main themes for the lady's socks are 'Soft Shape' and 'Line Composition' in order to express delicate, soft sensibility. For the unisex socks, 'Daydreamer' and 'Free Zone' are the themes used to express young energy and the sense of freedom. 12 styles were developed by creating 3 styles per theme using Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 programs. As a result, it is confirmed that design strategies in segmented market are necessary for the high-valued added products. Also, the understanding of changes in consumer's tastes and needs through regular market research is needed for the competitive socks design planning.

The purpose of this research is to investigate present situation of Korean manufacturing industry about the Introduction of Green Business/IT. For the people who is in charge of the decision whether to Introduce Green Business/IT or not, this paper aim to provide some useful findings. We made a research framework consisting of 5Ps (Philosophy, Partner, Process, Product, Public) from literature review, then we found that almost all of the companies in manufacturing industry prepare for the regulations by introducing and using Green Business/IT concepts. There are some differences between production goods industry and consumer's goods industry. Also we found that there are a lot of relationships with recognition level and planning level. The higher the level of profitability, the lower the level of preparing social responsibility. This means there are two opposite perspectives(profitability, social responsibility). Therefore organizations who are adopting Green Business IT/should strive for harmony of sight.

  • Recently, production-consumption quantity and market size of environment-friendly agricultural products(EFAP) have been increased. Consumers have demanded food safety and nutrition of EFAP, but in the near future they will need many kinds of item, relatively low price and high quality. So producers have to make an effort for down-cost, increasing items and developing technical know-how, which can be attained by producer/region organization. Correlation coefficient between the recognition degree for certification system and purchasing amounts at a time is higher than other ones. Therefore public information works using the TV and newspaper must be promoted all the more about certification system. And if the consumer’s satisfaction level of EFAP purchased gets higher, the quantity demanded will be increased more. And consumer’s trust on EFAP is derived from certification system or close relation between producers and consumers. Thus the most important thing of marketing strategies for EFAP is continuously to focus on explanation and information works on certification system by region in metropolitan area. Also, it necessary to introduce green marketing principles and apply to strategies item type. Namely those need to establish target market segmentation And marketing strategy stages according to the green degrees of market And commodity.

However, consumers have not yet understood the recognition of the system of quality certfication so far because of lack of demand on the quality certification fisheries. Above all, to put the system of the quality QC in place sucessfully, to understand the variation of consumer's inclination efficiently, the empirical study must be carried out by both consumer's take part in the market of the quality certificated fisheries products and how much the amount of consumption is in this market. The purpose of this study, under the preconditions where these have limited fisheries items in consumer's inclination survey, is to analyze the demand of QC though the Double Hurdle Model. Explanatory variables included were household characteristics such as housewives' age and education, her job, household income as well as their health perceptions and food purchase behaviors. Survey from 530 household was collected in Pusan City in 2003, of 502 were actually used for empirical analysis. The Double-hurdle framework proved to a better representation of the factors influencing the separate decision participation and consumption levels. According to the results of this study, whether or not, participating In the market of quality certicipating in the market of qualify certificated fisheries products is affected by how much experience and confidence these have got. housewives' having a job or not. Furthermore, the amount of consumption is mostly affected income. This value is attributed to the safety of QC fisheries products in comparison with regular fisheries. Findings suggest that the consumers put substantially high monetary value on safe food, such as high quality fisheries products. • Using Herzberg's motive hygiene theory, this study also investigated the influence of motivation factors and hygiene factors on acceptance and resistance of mobile facial recognition payment services, and the influence of consumer innovation as a parameter on acceptance and resistance from motivation factors and hygiene factors. A survey was conducted on Chinese users who had experience using mobile payment services. IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and SmartPLS 3.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the analysis, the motivating factors of mobile facial recognition payment services have a positive (+) impact on acceptance, and there were no significant results on resistance. In addition, hygiene factors have been shown to have negative (-) effects on acceptance and positive (+) effects on resistance. Consumer innovation, which is a parameter in relation to motivation factors and acceptance and resistance, had a partial mediation effect, and a partial mediation effect was also seen in the relationship between hygiene factors and resistance, but no mediation effect was found in the relationship between hygiene factors and acceptance. The motivating factors found through research results such as rapidity, ubiquity, perceived usability, perceived ease of use, privacy concerns, security, status quo inertia, use barriers, and loss avoidance, which are factors of non-contact and hygiene, can be used as basic data for activating mobile facial recognition payment services.

  • The purpose of this study is the structural relations will be examined among the VMD image of clothe stores, emotional reactions of brand awareness, brand image, brand attitude, and purchase intention. An empirical study in experimental design was conducted to female college students in their twenties, who made a huge influential group in the fashion industry, by considering the VMD characteristics of clothing shops. It measured the effects of VMD based on the changes to the consumer attitude before and after the VMD renewals, the correlations between brand recognition and VMD, and the influences of VMD on brand recognition and image, which were considered as important factors in creating brand assets. The research findings were as follows: 1. There were differences in emotional reactions according to the VMD image changes before and after renewal. Considering that the consumers recognized the VMD changes before and after renewal and showed different emotional reactions, the VMD image seems to be a major variable affecting their emotions. 2. As for the changes to the VMD image and brand image before and after renewal, the consumers recognized the VMD changes before and after renewal and consequently recognized the brad images differently, which implies that brand image can vary according to the effects of VMD renewal and changes to the VMD image.
