Monitoring Method for Fault Tolerance of Real-time System (실시간 시스템의 Fault Tolerance를 위한 모니터링 기법)

  • 안전성이 강조되는 실시간 시스템에서 시스템이 시간의 제약을 만족해야만 한다. 실시간 시스템에서 오류는 잘못된 응답 뿐 만이 아니라 시간적으로 늦은 응답에 대해서도 오류로 분류를 할 수가 있다. 이런 오류들을 모니터하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 커널에 Timed Conformance Monitor를 모듈로 추가하였다. Timed Conformance Monitor를 통해서 실시간 태스크가 시간의 제약을 만족하는지를 분석하고 또한 분석 결과에 따라 오류를 처리할 수 있는 Fault Handler를 추가하여 실시간 시스템에 대한 Fault Tolerance를 보장해 줄 수 있다.

  • IEC 61850 based substation automation system mainly consists of human machine interface and a various of IEDs in charge of protective and control functions of the substation. Both of them should require the performance verification of IEC 61850 communication services because their communication relation is the same as client and server throughout the digital network. This paper shows a research result on the testing method of basic communication interface of the IEC 61850 based client, which was implemented by the analysis of real communication between HMI and IED of IEC 61850 based substation automation system and refereed to IED IEC 61850 conformance test procedures.

  • BPMS, ERP, SCM 등 프로세스 인식 정보시스템들이 널리 쓰이게 되면서 프로세스 마이닝에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 프로세스 마이닝은 프로세스가 실행되는 동안 저장된 이벤트 로그로부터 정보를 추출하는 기법이다. 추출된 로그정보는 비즈니스 프로세스의 분석 및 재설계에 사용될 프로세스 모델을 생성하게 된다. 프로세스 마이닝 기법은 프로세스의 자동화 및 기업의 업무정보들을 관리하는 프로세스 기반 정보시스템의 정확성 및 효율성을 위한 중요한 부분을 차지하지만 현재까지의 연구는 생성된 이벤트 로그로부터 프로세스 모델을 재설계하는 프로세스 발견 기법 (Process Discovery Technique)을 적용한 부분에서만 활발히 진행되었다. 프로세스 마이닝은 프로세스 발견 기법 외에도 프로세스 적합성검사 기법 (Process Conformance Checking Technique) 및 프로세스 확장 기법 (Process Extension Technique)이 존재한다. 이들은 많은 프로세스 발견 기법에 대한 연구들이 진행되고 나서야 최근 프로세스 마이닝의 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 프로세스 적합성 검사를 위해 수집된 이벤트 로그와 기존에 나와 있는 여러 가지 프로세스 발견 알고리즘을 통해 생성된 프로세스를 수치적으로 비교할 수 있는 두 가지 애트리뷰트를 제시하였다.

  • 90 년대 후반부터 웹 기반 수업(Web-based instruction)이라 하여 인터넷을 이용한 새로운 교육방법이 시도되었다. WBI에 필요한 각종 프로그래밍을 수작업으로 진행하여야 한다는 문제점을 극복하기 위해 개발된 학습운영체제(Learning Management System)가 개발되면서 인터넷을 통한 교육은 급속히 확산되고 있다. 무선 인터넷 기술까지 수용하는 개념인 소위 e-Learning 체제로 발전되면서 e-Learning의 수요는 급속히 증가하게 되었다. e-Learning 기술 표준 개발을 실질적으로 주도하는 기관들인 IEEE, AICC, IMS가 제안하는 개별 표준안들을 ADL에서 SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model)이라는 종합적인 표준안으로 수렴하게 되면서 SCORM을 기준으로 만든 다양한 컨텐츠가 개발되고있다.

  • Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) is a third-party assessment that is to confirm that the system satisfies the safety requirements in the defined operational context. The process of this assessment often brings about many complex arguments that should be supported by evidence and justification. The communication between arguments and evidence is of the most importance in the context of safety case. This study illustrates how NOR-STA can be used for ISA process, showing the effective structure of safety compliance. The study outlines the steps to breaks down the top goal into many elements such as arguments, sub-goals, justification, context and assumptions. It concludes that the evidence-based safety conformance process utilizing NOR-STA provides a more effective and systematic representation of the independent safety assessment process in conformance cases.

  • Automation of production in modern manufacturing is based on the integration of the various stage of production process by means of processing system. Information processing and network interface are of fundamental importance in programmable device in industrial automation, as they essential in order to active integration in production lines. In this paper, TBC(token bus controller) in the Mini-MAP board performs the function of the MAC sublayer, The LLC sublayer is implemented according to the specification of Class 3 that includes Type 1 and 3. And the MMS services are designed within the scope of implementation MAP 3.0 All the softwares are implemented under the real time executive for real time application of the Mini-MAP and they are loaded into PROMs at the network board. We tested the LLC functions to make use of a protocol analyzer for the token bus protocol. Also the MMS conformance test was carried out by exchanging primitives between a model system(including NIU) and a MMS product that had already passed the conformance the conformance test based on measurement method of network analysis.

  • The pre-paid nation-wide interoperable transportation card, which an pay fee of bus, subway, train, and highway with just one card, released in June. 2014. It has started and operated from Seoul, Gyeonggi, and major local metropolitan area. In this paper, after starting of service, we evaluate conformance and interoperability of nation-wide interoperable transportation card system in real situation. Through this, we check the status of its technical operation. For this, we choose 6 region included Seoul, Gyeonggi which are serviced by different transport vendors and check recognition and billing result from field of transportation card terminal. As a result, we can reach that the major nation-wide interoperable transportation card operate normally and deliver CONFIG DF query command. It means nation-wide interoperable transportation card system which use only one card stably adapt the public transport system and it can make user's public transport use convenience higher through the extension of service area.

Comparative Analysis of Protocol Test Sequence Generation Methods for Conformance Testing (적합성시험을 위한 프로토콜 시험항목 생성방법의 비교분석)

  • In this paper, a survey of test sequence generation methods for testing the conformance of a protocol implementation to its specification is presented. The best known methods proposed in the literature are called transition tour, distinguishing sequence, characterizing sequence, and unique input/output sequence. Also, several variants of the above methods are introduced. Applications of these methods to the finite state machine model are discussed. Then, comparative analysis of the methods is made in terms of test sequence length. Finally, conclusions are given as follows. The T-method produces the shortest test sequence, but it has the worst fault coverage. The W-method tends to produce excessively long test sequences even though its fault coverage is complete. The problem with the DS-method is that a distinguishing sequence may not exist. The UIO-method is more widely applicable, but it does not provide the same fault coverage as the DS-method.

  • In recent years, there has been a rapid and wide spread of robot system in our lives and with the ever increasing the requirement of user for robot functionality, the software component is increasingly sophisticated and complicated. Accordingly it is inevitable to employ a standardized software platform. The OPRoS is open standard software platform based on component for robot system. When the software components were developed, it has got to validate the conformity of robot software components which comply with the OPRoS standard specification. In this paper, we deal with the design and implementation of the structural conformance test suite to verify and validate the conformance of components to be developed by user. As the results of some experiments, we could verify it from this test suite whether the components satisfied standard requirement or not.
