The purpose of this study is to design a community-based career education app for college students. Currently, career education in universities has various problems. First, career education is not systemized, second, satisfaction of participating students is not high, and third, competency-based career education is not conducted. Designing a community-based career education app for college students will solve the problem of lack of college career education instructors and increase the satisfaction of students participating in career education. To this end, core values were derived through the results of demand surveys, literature analysis, and network text analysis for college students, and a prototype of the app was devised according to the design of the rapid prototype. The career education program to be used in the app was designed by dividing online and offline activities so that university students can execute them in units of learning communities. Through the first and second usability evaluation and expert evaluation, the final prototype was designed and the app screen was designed.

This study was to investigate the characteristics of nursing students' safety by reviewing literature reported in Korea. Methods: A total of 29 articles were selected by the combination with 'safety', 'safety*', 'patient safety', 'patient safety*' 'nursing students', and 'nursing * students' from the database(via DBpia, KCI, KISS, NANET, NDSL, NL, RISS). Results: Publication year of researchs are '2015-2019' 69.0%, publication journal 'non-nursing' 79.3%, mean of participants 242.4 persons, 'under 200 persons' 51.7%, number of participating area 'one region' 48.2%, number of participating schools 'over three schools' 42.3%, participating grade 'senior in colleges' 56.2%. Participant were calculated by G*Power and unapproved by Institutional Review of Board(IRB) were 58.6%. Most of statistics measures were 'regression' 75.9%, and authors' number were '2 co-authors' 58.6%. In keyword analysis, it has changed from knowledge-oriented to patient-centered. Conclusion: Future research will require research and policy support for the development of an integrated educational approach and intervention plan to strengthen the safety competency of nursing students.
Purpose: This study was conducted to develop the contents of disaster nursing education in community health nursing at universities. Methods: To validate contents, the Delphi method was used. We categorized two domains(indirect disaster management and direct disaster management) and developed 48 draft items. This study applied two round surveys and 23 experts participated in this study. The content validity was calculated using content validity ratio and coefficient of variation. Results: Indirect disaster management domain was composed of three categories including 12 items: 1) Understanding of the disaster, 2) disaster management system, and 3) response by disaster stage and recovery. Direct disaster management domain was composed of nine categories including 30 items: 1) Ethical considerations, 2) communication in disasters, 3) nursing activity by disaster stage, 4) emergency nursing in disasters, 5) patient severity classification in disasters, 6) disaster nursing for vulnerable groups, 7) disaster nursing for victims, 8) psychosocial nursing and health in disasters, and 9) cases of disaster nursing in communities. Conclusion: This Delphi study identified the contents of disaster nursing education curriculum, and confirmed the validity for disaster education program in community health nursing. Based on the results, it will be helpful for training the disaster nursing and improving the competency on disaster nursing of the nursing students.
The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing the clinical decision making ability of nurses in long-term care hospitals. Data were collected from 174 nurses working in long-term care hospitals in G-do from October 11 to December 10, 2021. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression through the SPSS 23.0. As a result of the study, the clinical decision making ability was positively correlated with critical thinking disposition(r=.494, p<.001) and nursing work environment(r=.451, p<.001). Critical thinking disposition and nursing work environment explained 33.1% of clinical decision making ability. In order to improve the clinical decision making ability, which is the core competency of nurses, education to increase critical thinking disposition and the creation of a desirable nursing work environment are necessary. In future research, research to identify various variables affecting the clinical decision making ability of nursing hospital nurses, and research for the development and effectiveness of programs to improve clinical decision making ability are suggested.
Purpose: This study examined the effects of a person-centered fall prevention program for older adults with dementia in long-term care hospitals. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The study sample included 42 older adults with dementia (experimental group: 21, control group: 21) and 42 caregivers (experimental group: 21, control group: 21). The program comprised 48 sessions held over 12 weeks and included exercise intervention with resistance and balance, dance walking (45~60 min, three times/week), cognitive and emotional intervention (35~50 min, once per week), and person-centered fall prevention education (10 min, once per week). The program for caregivers consisted of six educational sessions (i.e., fall prevention competency enhancement and person-centered care strategy education, 80 min, once per week) for six weeks. Data were collected before participation and 12 weeks after program completion from February 18 to May 12, 2019. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test, t-test, and Mann-Whitney U test with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: The experimental group of older adults with dementia showed significant improvement in physical and cognitive functions, and a decrease in depression, and behavioral and psychological symptoms, when compared with the control group. caregivers in the experimental group exhibited significant improvement in fall-related knowledge and person-centered care of older adults with dementia compared to the control group. Conclusion: The study findings indicate that this program was effective as a nursing intervention for fall prevention among older adults with dementia in long-term care hospitals.

Recently, basic literacy education related to digital literacy and data literacy has been emphasized for students who will live in a rapidly developing future digital society. Accordingly, demand for education to improve big data and data literacy is also increasing in general universities and universities of education as basic knowledge. Therefore, this study designed and applied big data analysis courses for pre-service teachers and analyzed the impact on data literacy. As a result of analyzing the interest and understanding of the input program, it was confirmed that it was an appropriate form for the level of pre-service teachers, and there was a significant improvement in competencies in all areas of 'knowledge', 'skills', and 'values and attitudes' of data literacy. As the era of the 4th industrial revolution began and the importance of software emerged, education also reflected this. Software education has already been provided in several countries, and Korea also started software education in the regular curriculum in 2019, when the 2015 revised curriculum was applied. This study attempted to present an improvement plan for revitalizing software education based on the feelings and difficulties of teachers who conducted software education for the first time in the practical education curriculum in elementary school. For the study, a survey was conducted on 96 teachers in charge of software education in elementary schools in 2019 with 36 questions related to personal competency, class operation method, textbooks and educational materials, class operation content, and educational environment. And three of them were interviewed. As a result improvements are needed, such as improving educational facilities and environment, revitalizing the development and dissemination of high-quality instructional materials, and expanding support for participatory training for teachers and teacher clubs.

As the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) evolves, studies on autonomous ships have been conducting in the shipping industry. Currently, two or three degrees of autonomous ships is in operation, and a shore remote control of icer (SRCO) monitors vessel operations and intervenes remotely where necessary in the service. However, as the curriculum for an SRCO has not been established internationally, the risk of an accident by an unqualified SRCO is increasing. In this study, specifies the curriculum required for SRCO that consists of suitable existing training and new training under remote control circumstances. This includes Non-technical skill training to enhance the effectiveness of an SRCO. This curriculum can be used for a new SRCO to evaluate training and competency specific safety standards, and to enable existing seafarers to become SRCOs through the necessary training.
