The students had completed over 2 semesters of clinical practice. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: Participants' scores for communication skill, interpersonal relationships and clinical competence were $3.81{\pm}0.42$, $3.74{\pm}0.43$ and $3.49{\pm}0.43$ respectively. Communication skill, interpersonal relationships and clinical competence had positive correlations. Factors influencing nursing students' clinical competence included communication skill, interpersonal relationships, subjective health status and satisfaction with nursing as a major. A total of 194 second year students were recruited from nursing department in Gwangju. Structured questionnaire was self-administrated from November 2 to 30, 2015. In self-directed learning ability, there were significant differences in gender, personality disposition, applied motivation, satisfaction on major, satisfaction of campus life, and school grade. In multiple regression analysis, learning motivation, communication skill, academic self-efficacy, satisfaction on major and school grade were significant factors of self-directed learning ability explaining 53.1% of the variables. In conclusion, to enhance self-directed learning ability for nursing students, it is necessary to develop program and curriculum for increasing learning motivation, communication skill, and academic self-efficacy.

This study aimed to provide basic data for enhancing the structural relationship among learning motivation, learning confidence, critical thinking skill and problem-solving ability in junior high school students and factors influencing problem-solving ability, by closely examining them. To this end, it investigated the causality among variables, for 390 junior high school students in Gangwondo, based on the outcomes of a questionnaire survey conducted to verify the effectiveness of digital textbooks. Although learning motivation did not have a significant effect on critical thinking skill, learning confidence had a direct effect on it. In addition, learning motivation, learning confidence and critical thinking skill had direct effects on problem-solving ability. In order to enhance problem-solving ability, therefore, We may be necessary to make efforts to support learning capabilities and provide opportunities for them to experience rich learning and resources.

In our model, we used these variables - innovation awareness, job satisfaction, organizational commitment as a parameter. In order to verify the hypothesis based on research model, a survey among researchers (sample size=117) who work in food company was carried out. Analyzing hypothesized model and following the statistical procedure, we could assure that there exist positive correlation with communication skill, innovation awareness, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and organizational performance. A coefficient of correlation between those variables was clearly high in the group with good communication skill. Among the parameters, the variable of innovation awareness was more effected on their job performance.
The purpose of this study was to investigate job satisfaction of dental hygienist. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 224 dental hygienist. The 224 data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, ANONA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) Ver.19.0. The average score of the communication skill was $3.32{\pm}0.49$, interpersonal relationship ability was $3.45{\pm}0.48$, job satisfaction was $3.19{\pm}0.44$. The average score of the communication skill according to the general characteristics was the married was higher than the singles, the higher the career. The average score of the interpersonal relationship ability according to the general characteristics was the higher he education, the higher the income and the business management. The average score of the job satisfaction according to the general characteristics was the higher the business management. A multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of communication skill and interpersonal relationship ability on job satisfaction, which had the lower career(t=-2.846, p=0.005), high communication skill (t=2.099, p=0.037), high interpersonal relationship ability(t=4.142, p=0.000). In order to improve the job satisfaction of the dental hygienist, provide proper compensation and the effort to improve the communication skill and interpersonal relationship ability.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of a standardized patients (SP) simulation program for nursing students on nursing competence, communication skill, self-efficacy and critical thinking ability for blood transfusion. Methods: A nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design study was used and included as participants 96 junior nursing students at C University. The SP group (n=48) participated in the teaching class using a SP, while the control group (n=48) received conventional practice education. The outcome measurements were nursing competence, communication skill, self-efficacy, and critical thinking ability for transfusion. Results: Nursing competence, communication skill, self-efficacy, and critical thinking ability improved for students in both groups after training ($2.01{\leq}t{\leq}13.03$, p<.05). Self-efficacy showed greater improvement in students in the SP group compared to the control group (t=3.36, p<.001). Conclusion: SP simulation practice may be more effective in enhancing self-efficacy than that of conventional practice education. Whether self-efficacy will contribute to enhancing learning motivation for nursing students needs further examination.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of team based learning on academic achievement, problem solving skill, and communication ability in high risk pregnant nursing. This experimental study is designed for a equivalent control group. The program was put into practice 1 times a week for 8 weeks. The number of subjects in this research consists of 120, where 60 of the experimental group participated in team based learning program and 60 of the control group didn't do. The data was analyzed by ${\chi}^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and paired t-test. The effects of team based learning approaches on learning outcomes in high risk pregnant nursing are as follows: The problem solving skill of the experimental group has been significantly more elevated than that of the control group. The experimental group has made increase in communication ability. This study has significance in that it identified the availability of the team based learning program and that it would be useful teaching and learning method to achieve learning outcomes.

The clinical competence was positively correlated with problem solving ability, communication skill and self-efficacy. Problem solving ability (${\beta}=0.283$, p<0.001), self-efficacy (${\beta}=0.249$, p<0.001), motivation for nursing (${\beta}=0.182$, p=0.002), communication skills (${\beta}=0.176$, p=0.016), and interpersonal relationships (${\beta}=0.101$, p=0.082) explained 42.8% of the total variance in clinical competence of nursing students. The most significant predictors of clinical competence were problem solving ability, followed by self-efficacy and communication skills.
