The object of this paper is to prove two unique common fixed point theorems for a pair of a set-valued map and a self map satisfying a general contractive condition using orbital concept and weak-compatibility of the pair. One of these results generalizes substantially, the result of Dhage, Jennifer and Kang [4]. Simultaneously, its implications for two maps and one map improves and generalizes the results of Dhage [3], and Rhoades [11]. All the results of this paper are new.

In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the common shape parameter in the gamma distributions. We develop the matching priors and reveal that the second order matching prior does not exist. It turns out that the one-at-a-time reference prior and the two group reference prior satisfy a first order probability matching criterion. Some simulation study is peformed.

Several common stationary point theorems for two classes of contractive type multivalued mappings in a complete bounded metric space are given. The results presented in this paper generalize and extend some known results in literature.

We consider two components parallel system in which the lifetimes have the bivariate Pareto model with bivariate random censored data. We assume that bivariate Pareto model is affected by common stress which is independent of the lifetimes of the components. We obtain estimators for the system reliability based on likelihood function and relative frequency. Also we construct approximated confidence intervals for the reliability based on maximum likelihood estimator and relative frequency estimator, respectively. Finally we present a numerical study.

In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the common scale parameter in the inverse gaussian distributions. We developed the first and second order matching priors. Next we revealed that the second order matching prior satisfies a HPD matching criterion. Also we showed that the second order matching prior matches alternative coverage probabilities up to the second order. It turns out that the one-at-a-time reference prior satisfies a second order matching criterion. Some simulation study is performed.

In this paper, we introduce a new iteration method based on the hybrid method in mathematical programming and the descent-like method for finding a common element of the solution set for a variational inequality and the set of common fixed points of a nonexpansive semigroup in Hilbert spaces. We obtain a strong convergence for the sequence generated by our method in Hilbert spaces. The result in this paper modifies and improves some well-known results in the literature for a more general problem.

We establish a coincidence and a common fixed point result for four mappings involving a (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractive condition type on a complete metric space. We take on ${\psi}$ and ${\varphi}$ the same conditions given by Popescu [Fixed points for (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractions, Appl. Math. Lett. 24 (2011), 1-4].

In this paper, we first prove a common fixed point theorem for generalized nonlinear contraction mappings in complete metric spaces there by generalizing and extending some known results. Then we present this result in the context of ordered metric spaces by using monotone non-decreasing mapping.

In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for $\mathcal{L}$-fuzzy mappings under implicit relation in b-metric spaces. Further, results obtained for an integral type contractive condition. These theorems generalize and improve previous corresponding results.
