In this paper, we present the college curriculum for the acoustics and audio engineering on digital convergence environment. For these purposes, we categorized the colleges which linked on the ASA and AES websites into three types according to their characteristics such as an acoustics-oriented type, an applied-acoustics type, and a convergence-oriented type. And a basic step-by-step curriculum model for the audio acoustics is suggested based on the characteristics of the category analysis. The proposed model can be effectively used to build an acoustics and audio technology course at the domestic colleges.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate job performance of dietitians. The survey also examined differences in job performance of dietitians by institutional classicification, types of task, levels of education and job experience. Data was collected form national samples. Results are summarized as follows. 1. By institutional classification, dietitians working in industry showed lowest score(3.0465${\pm}$.4151), which those working in hospital showed highest score(3.2883${\pm}$.4124) in job performance. 2. By types of task, the score of job performance is in order of hygience management(3.3933${\pm}$.4236), business management(3.3183${\pm}$.5435) and education management(2.3132${\pm}$.7551). 3. By educational level, dietitians who graduated universities scored higher than who graduated junior colleges in general. Specifically, the former had high scores in business management(3.4796${\pm}$.4692) and hygiene management, while the latter had high scores in hygiene management(3.3615${\pm}$.440) and business management, as in order. 4. By job experience, job performance increases after-3 year-experience and peaks in over-10 year-experience. 5. For reasons of negligence in specified taskes, 109 of respondents(22.7%) answered "don't know how to perform" and 108 of them(22.5%) answered "lack of human resources." Also, the lower in job experience the more answered "don't know how to perform" as a reason of negligence a their task(34.5% of below-2 year-experience and 24.2% of junior colleges answered to this reason).

IT education in the colleges or universities and IT industry in producing IT manpower are urgently called for to balance its supply and demand. To correct this problem, Ministry of Information and Communication launched a program where demand-oriented curriculums are developed and applied to colleges. This paper proposes a design technique based on meta-model and software development process in developing curriculums and courses. This meta-modeling technique is proven to result in the extendibility, flexibility and quality improvement in software design. Therefore, we expect that proposed technique makes it possible to be improved in quality.

Today, living in a software-centered global community. lots of countries are putting most efforts on breeding a creative manpower well equipped with problem-solving abilities based on computational thinking. Upon this colleges and universities where most strongly related to job activities are proceeding instruction related to programming for the IT majors realizing the importance of the software education. Hereby we intend to be of a proper help for every colleges and universities students who are working on educational programming design for the first time performing a research probing the relationship with the full gamut of computational thinking based on the result acquired through a phased survey showing the amount of difficulties at their beginning stages.

Curcumin (CM) possesses anti-cancer activity against a variety of tumors. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) play an important role in remodeling the extracellular matrix and their activities are regulated by tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases (TIMPs) family. Control of MMP and TIMP activity are now of great significance. In this study, the effect of CM is investigated on metastatic MMPs and anti-metastatic TIMPs genes on MDA breast cancer cells cultured in a mixture of DMEM and Ham's F12 medium and treated with different concentrations of CM (10, 20 and $40{\mu}M$ for various lengths of time. Reverse transcription followed by quantitative real time PCR was used to detect the gene expression levels of MMPs and TIMPs in CM-treated versus untreated cases and the data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA. At high concentrations of curcumin, TIMP-1, -2, -3 and -4 genes were up-regulated after 48 hours of treatment, their over-expression being accompanied by down-regulation of MMP-2 and MMP-9 gene expression levels in a concentration- and time-dependent manner. These results suggest that curcumin plays a role in regulating cell metastasis by inhibiting MMP-2 and MMP-9 and up-regulating TIMP1 and TIMP4 gene expression in breast cancer cells.

The purpose of the present study is to analyze curriculums in colleges operating a department related to medical information in Korea and to propose the roles of medical information professionals, medical information professionals qualifying examination and a plan to raise medical information specialists demanded in the field. In addition, this study purposed to suggest establishing programs for job training and supplementary education of medical information professionals through sharing contents among colleges. For these purposes, this study proposed a plan to construct the infrastructure of Internet-based domestic medical information and education network for the service of integrated medical information system standardized centering on the Healthcare Information Center.

The goal of this study lies in analyzing the realities of the educational courses in the colleges of environment-related science and engineering and proposing plans for their improvement. In this regard, curriculums of each college were analyzed and the subsequent problems and implications were drawn out. In addition, it is suggested that the courses be directed toward job site-centered reform through conducting job analysis with experts in the environmental industry, serving new courses demanded by industries in practice and providing training programs for industries.

The current trends in engineering education have been examined in order to address the situation of educating engineering workforce. It was found that the decline in the supply of manpower in engineering education had not been a serious problem since 2003. However, a large number of students who graduated engineering colleges intended to enter medical schools. Engineering colleges may consider developing high school exposure programs making students to explore engineering. Also policies are required for engineering program to be competitive for attracting and retaining strong workforce into an engineering career.

Access to relevant information determines the quality of life of an individual in society and the academe. Academic institutions have established information literacy programmes to enhance students' access to information. With the elevation of colleges of education to tertiary status in Ghana, pre-service teachers are now required to conduct research to improve their reflective thinking in order to be certified. However, the information access skills of students in colleges of education in Ghana are uncertain. This study draws empirical evidence from students in the Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education, Wa, Ghana on their information access skills. Primary data were collected from 303 respondents from the college using a stratified sampling procedure. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that information is available to students through different sources such as the Internet, libraries, and contact with friends and authorities. However, students were limited in respect to access to relevant online resources for their academic activities due to inadequate information access skills. Potential solutions are discussed.

The steady increase in academic computing activities on campus have blurred the distinctions between Academic Libraries and Computer Centers. Considerable attention has been focused in recent years on the cooperative relationship between these two separate campus units. This article explores collaboration of two units in Chief Information Officers (CIO) organizational model that have a number of colleges and universities in America, proposes an application programs in CIO Organizational Model in order to use National Colleges and Universities. Therefore, This author undertook a study of convergence of information technology and the organizational relationships among information management positions In campus, and sought on CIO's decision-making roles, their responsibility, various CIO organizational models. The models described can help a college or university identify the administrative configuration most suitable for its campus culture.
