간호대학생의 취업 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Job-Seeking Stress in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate what factors are affecting job-seeking stress in nursing students. Methods: Subjects were 463 students from two 3-year and two 4-year colleges of nursing in K-Province in Korea. Data was collected from self-administered questionnaires. t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's and Spearman's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression with dummy variables were used for statistical analysis of data. Results: Job-seeking stress was significantly different by school system (t=2.76, p=.006), family economic status (F=3.40, p=.005), characteristics (t=1.99, p=.047), academic achievement (F=6.54, p=.002), current weight control status (t=2.23, p=.026), times of cosmetic surgery (r=.11, p=.022), self-esteem (r=-.47, p<.001) and appearance stress (r=.40, p<.001). However, after controlling for general characteristics, self-esteem, and perceived appearance stress, job-seeking stress was significantly different by grade (1st vs 3rd, ${\beta}=0.163$, p<.001), academic achievement (low vs. high, ${\beta}=-0.121$, p=.0321), self-esteem (${\beta}=-0.224$, p<.001), and appearance stress (${\beta}=0.099$, p<.001). The explanation power of self-esteem on job-seeking stress was greater compared with that of appearance stress. Conclusion: Results of this study suggest that it is necessary for nursing students to develop intervention program aimed at reducing job-seeking stress, and it would be effective to focus on improving self-esteem for them.

국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 4년제대학 정보시스템개발 교육과정을 위한 중요도분석연구 (An Importance Analysis of National Competency Standard for 4-year College Information Systems Development Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 4년제 대학의 정보시스템개발 교육과정과 연관된 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standard-NCS)에서 제시된 학습모듈을 파악하고 정보시스템개발 교육과정에 대한 NCS의 활용가능성을 분석하고자 한다. 두 전문가 그룹인 대학교수와 정보시스템개발자를 대상으로 NCS의 응용SW엔지니어링 분야에 속한 26개 능력단위의 중요도를 계층화분석과정을 통해 능력단위별로 쌍대비교 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 능력단위별 능력단위요소들에 상대적 중요도는 요구사항 확인하기, UI요구사항확인하기, 물리데이터저장소설계하기, 개발자통합테스트하기와 개발자결함조치하기로 나타났다. 둘째, 초 중급개발자 그룹은 시스템개발 이행단계에 속한 능력단위요소를 보다 중요하다고 판단하였고, 고급개발자 그룹은 이론중심의 설계와 관련 있는 능력단위요소를 중요하다고 제시하였다. 또한 교수자 그룹은 두 개발자 그룹이 각각 중요하다고 판단한 실무 및 이론적 내용 모두 중요하다고 판단하였다. 본 결과를 바탕으로 정보시스템개발 관련 직무수행역량의 함양과 교육의 질적 제고를 가져올 수 있는 교육과정 개발에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

미용업 종사자들의 스트레스 수준과 이에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Stress Level of Workers in Beauty Shops)

  • This study was conducted to examine to causes and symptoms of stress and factors influencing stress management of workers in beauty shops. 811 people who were working in the shops located in Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province were selected as subjects of this study. Data were collected from April 10, 2000 to July 10, 2000. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. According to general characteristics of the respondents, female was 90.8%. 42.1 % of them was in their twenties and 73.7% of them did not marry. 57.5% of the respondents grew up in big cities and 41.1% had no religion. 63.6% was graduated from junior colleges. 44.6% of them worked for below I year and 33.9% earned below four hundred and ninety thousand won per month. 55.8% of them was satisfied with their work aptitude, while 34.2% was not satisfied with it. In the case of satisfaction level with working environment, ‘common level’ was 46.3%, while 12.8% of them was unsatisfied with it. In the case of stress level by factors of stress related to working, male was higher (9.34 $\pm$ 2.38 points). Those who grew up in towns or villages and those who belonged to the middle class showed high stress level. Those who married and those who graduated from high school also displayed high stress level. It also appeared that monthly income influenced the stress level related to working.. The extent of stress level influencing physical causes appeared in order of health condition, education level, sex, satisfaction level with work aptitude, economic status, and working hours. The extent of stress level influencing whole organizational level appeared in order of satisfaction level with work aptitude, working hours, education level, health condition, and sex. The extent of stress factors influencing depressed feeling of stress symptom appeared in order of working hours, sex, amount of smoking, absence due to stress, age, health condition, and education level. The extent of influencing factors on active stress management appeared in order of satisfaction level with work aptitude, health condition, size of the shop, drinking, sex, and the number of day off. The extent of influencing factors on avoidable stress management appeared in order of age, absence due to stress, drinking, health condition, and sex.

단일약국과 다약국 프로그램에서 수행한 지역약국 필수실무실습에 대한 평가 (Evaluation of the Pharmacy Student Practice Programs in the Mono Community Pharmacy and Multiple Community Pharmacies)

  • Background: The first pharmacy student practice undergoing 6 year pharmacy school curriculum have begun in the hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical company and administrative office since 2013. Although most of practice sites have prepared the program of pharmacy student practice education for several years under guideline of Korean Association of Pharmacy Education, generally community pharmacies which start the pharmacy student practice education have difficulty in performing the desirable student practice program due to absent experience for it. So we reported the comparison of student practice programs between mono pharmacy and multiple pharmacies conducted by Gyeongsang National University College of Pharmacy to provide the future design information of the ideal pharmacy student practice in community pharmacy. Method: Students who practiced both multiple (multi) and mono pharmacy (mono) programs for each 5 weeks were participated the survey to evaluate the student practice programs. Results: The results of the survey on the student practice program reported that students were much more satisfied with the multiple pharmacies program than mono pharmacy program in both practical contents ($4.12{\pm}0.72$ : $3.27{\pm}1.28$; multi : mono) and satisfaction ($4.54{\pm}0.54$ : $3.54{\pm}1.3$; multi : mono) and they all gave the highest points ($5.00{\pm}0.00$) to multiple pharmacies program for recommendation because the multiple pharmacies program was significantly helpful for their experience to plan the future career. Conclusion: Mono and multiple pharmacy practice programs would be a great helpful for student's future career. However, the disadvantages of each program should be amended gradually for the unified and specialized program to be established the ideal community pharmacy student practice in Korea. The results will be affected the pharmacy practice program for students in community pharmacy and the other colleges of pharmacy to design the ideal community pharmacy practice program.

한국 간호사의 국제적 이동 (International Migration of Korean Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the Korean nurses' international migration to provide the basic data for establishing plans of supply and demand for nurses and the status of Korean nurses' application for foreign nurse licenses and overseas employment. Method: The subjects were 5.447 nurses who requested English written nurse license to the Ministry of Health and Welfare for the application of foreign nurse license examinations and overseas employment. Human Resources Development of Korea provided documents of nurses migrated to Saudi Arabia. Data were collected from December, 2002 to July, 2003 and analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Result: The total applicants for foreign nurse license were 3,149 for 2 years. In the year 2001, 1.129 nurses applied, 2,020 nurses in the year 2002. Out of 3,149 total subjects, 2,705(85.9%)nurses applied for U. S. A. nurse license. Eighty percent of the applicants of the U. S. A. nurse license examination applied for the New York states. The number of applicants for Canada was 215(6.8%), followed by Australia 88(2.8%), U. K. 86(2.7%), and New Zealand 45(1.4%). Average age of the applicants was 31, 49.0% of them were in their twenties. Three year college graduates accounted for 64.1% B.S.N. 33.9%. Applicants graduated from universities or colleges of Seoul area were 37.3%, followed by Daegu. The total number of nurses employed overseas were 1,291 during 2001 and 2002. Seven hundred thirty eight nurses(57.2%) were employed in the U. S. A.. Average age was 34, 60.9% were 3year college graduates, nurses graduated from Seoul area were 44.9%. No one applied for Saudi Arabian nurse license, 172 nurses were employed during 1999 and 2002, 39.5% of them were in their thirties. Conclusion: The results of this study shows relatively young and experienced nurses have intention to migrate internationally and they actually migrate to other countries. Comparing the number of nurses migrating to other country with the number of newly issued nurse licenses in Korea every year. the percentage of overseas employment was relatively high. To cope with Korean nurses international migration. new policy to monitor the status of nurse's international migration and an institution to deal with the affairs should be established. And the further study is needed to measure nurse's competence and influencing factors of Korean nurses employed in the U. S. A.

치기공과 학생들의 학과만족도에 관한 조사 (A Research on the Department Satisfaction of Department of Dental Technology Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to examine department satisfaction for improving the competitiveness of department of dental technology and providing basic data for students successful guidance. Methods: The study subject were 560 students from 4 colleges, and they were selected by the convenient sampling method. Data for this survey was obtain by self-administration method. This questionnaire consist of general characteristics, the awareness of before entering department of dental technology, the satisfaction of department of dental technology, an opinion about change of one's course and temporary absence. Results: About the time of selecting their major, 70.1% of students answered the most before highschool. Department of dental technology and the most common source of information in selecting a majors is the person oneself(52.6%). The person who answers because of knowing a little bit for the question asking the priori knowledge of department of dental technology showed up as 66.3%. About the motivation for selection their major, 37.4% of students answered the most it seemed to be a future prospect. As to the extend of department satisfaction, the satisfaction showed up as 63.3%, but the extend of satisfaction was exposed to reduce as the grade increased. The dissatisfaction factor is the difficulty of the theory(29.8%). Many students do not want to change their majors even if they are provided with the chance to do so(68.7%). From the survey related to the experience of thinking over temporary absence and drop out, 56.8% of students responded they had experienced thinking about that. Current feelings after department selection was found to be the most significant factor that affects satisfaction of department of dental technology(Adjusted $R^2$=48.3%). Conclusion: The extend of satisfaction of the women is low. The extend of satisfaction reduces as the grade increases. The school subject extend of satisfaction can know that ratio about of considering the leave of absence and voluntary withdrawal increases. Therefore, the plan of education that women can adapt the women o the school subject well and that it can be satisfied is sought for. It is considered that effort promoting the extend of satisfaction is needed as the grade increases.

강황 열수 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 C2C12 Myoblasts의 산화적 손상에 대한 보호 효과 (Antioxidant Activities and Protective Effects of Hot Water Extract from Curcuma longa L. on Oxidative Stress-Induced C2C12 Myoblasts)

  • 본 연구에서는 강황 열수 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 산화적 스트레스에 대한 보호 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 항산화 활성을 확인하기 위해 총 페놀성 화합물 함량, 총 플라보노이드 함량 및 라디칼 소거능을 측정하였다. 강황 열수 추출물의 총 페놀성 화합물 및 플라보노이드 함량은 각각 $2,474.4{\pm}31.9mg$ GAE/100 g 및 $892.1{\pm}21.2mg$ CE/100 g으로 나타났다. 강황 열수 추출물의 라디칼 소거능은 DPPH 및 ABTS 라디칼을 이용하여 측정하였다. 실험 결과 DPPH 및 ABTS 라디칼 소거능을 $SC_{50}$ 값으로 계산하였을 때 각각 $188.5{\pm}3.0{\mu}g/mL$$92.0{\pm}0.9{\mu}g/mL$로 나타났다. 이러한 라디칼 소거능에는 강황 열수 추출물에 함유되어 있는 총 페놀성 화합물 및 플라보노이드가 영향을 미쳤을 것이라고 판단된다. C2C12 myoblast에 강황 열수 추출물을 처리하였을 때 $1,000{\mu}g/mL$ 농도까지 세포 독성이 나타나지 않음을 확인하였으며, 안전성이 확인된 $500{\mu}g/mL$ 농도까지 실험을 진행하였다. 강황 열수 추출물의 $H_2O_2$에 대한 보호 효과를 측정한 결과 강황 열수 추출물을 처리하였을 때 농도 의존적으로 보호 효과가 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, $H_2O_2$ 처리 후 DCF-DA 방법을 이용하여 세포 내 활성산소종(ROS) 수준을 측정한 결과 강황 열수 추출물을 처리하였을 때 세포 내 ROS 수준이 유의적으로 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 이상의 결과로부터 강황 열수 추출물은 항산화 활성을 나타냈으며, C2C12 myoblast에 $H_2O_2$로 유도된 산화적 스트레스를 감소시키는 효과를 나타내는 것으로 생각된다.

가정관리실습관에 있어서의 학생지도에 관한 연구 - 서울 시내모여자대학교대상- (A Study on the Student Guidance at Home Management House)

  • I. Preface A. Establishment. There are many psycological and physiological difficulties that students have made practical application to a building site of 600 pyung and a structure of 65 pyung each sixteen students in the Home Management House, but there exists problem in students apprentice and management of professors. B. Purpose of study This research aim to seek a high degree of efficiency approach in investigating, studying and analyzing factors of the problem in Home Management which have been faced in women colleges in seoul. C. Content of study. This study is aim at finding out the problems including facilites, system, guiding principle, working bottleneck and administrative problem in making practical application of Home Management. II. A plan and method of study A. This subject of statiscal research is 616 women students in senior year from september 27 1970 to October 31 1974. The rate of collection of questionnaire is 100 percent. B. The Method of study is devised through refering documents, interview with students, questionnaire and observation. III. Result of study Of the total of 29 university in seoul, 24 Universities have its Course of Home Economic among which only 12 have Home Management for making practical application. Home Management House for making practical application is located mainly in campus but some of them exceptimally are in outside university. Students practice mainly at civilzed resident, apartment, bangalow so forth, and demention of which occupies approxiamtely 50-600 pyung (land) and 20-70 pyung (Building). A member with 4 or 20 students make practical application from 10 days to 3 months. A member consists of students and assistant teacher, and practice site classifies into living school for Professors living, and another school for Professors and assistant teachers. Answer to a questionnaire. 616 students answer to a questionnaire. 49 Perfect of 616 students like to have a member with 12 students like to have a member with 12 students, 38 percent student a member with 16 students. About the period of making practical About the period of making practical application, 76 percent students like to have two or three week period. 19 percent students think it a short period and 4 percent students think it a long period. There is none who thinks 25 day period day period to be short. About making practical application, 66 percent of 616 students feel uneasy, 40 percent students feel lack of sleep and tired. Students take a pleasure in having a conversation with their friends, inviting their mother, having dinner-party and birthday party. 77 percent students want to invite their father and 67 percent students want to invite their boy-friends. It is hard to have a good personal relation about the great the result of practice, students acknowledge themselves that they have learned about Cautiousness and they are sure of good Home Manager. There are 9 difficult problems during the period. IV. Summary discussion a. Many problems come from having a number of students. b. Students feel tired with their practice if over three weeks. No Matter how good a plan is, it useless if students can't adapt themselves to it. Suggestions 1) it is good to have a member with 5 or 6 students, and it is suitable to have two or three week period, and to have an area of 20 or 30 pyung. 2) it's proposed a profess or to live together in making practical application of Home Management 3) it is proposed a professor to have a sure T.O. and to be treated better.

인천산업디자인의 발전방향에 관한 연구 -인천국제디자인공모전의 필요성에 대하여- (A study on the directions for the development of industrial design in Incheon -in Incheon international design competition-)

  • 본 연구는 인천의 디자인 현황을 분석하여, 인천의 특성을 살린 인천산업디자인의 발전방안을 연구하고, 다음으로 인천광역시가 처음으로 시행하고자하는 ‘인천국제디자인공모전’ 행사에 본 연구를 적용하고자 하는 것이 최종목적이다. 인천은 약260만의 인구를 가진 광역시로서, 수도권의 관문으로 수출산업의 중심지인 국내 최대의 산업도시이자, 인천국제공항개항 및 송도 신도시 개발로 인한 21세기 국제교역도시의 중추기지로 성장하고 있다. 인천의 산업구조는 대부분 중소기업 중심으로 업체 자체의 디자인 개발 능력이 부족하고, 디자인 관련 인력양성기관도 타 광역시에 비해 4년제 대학 2개교, 전문대학 6개교의 열악한 형편이다. 특히, 서울과 인접하여 디자인 관련 학회 및 공모전은 거의 전무한 상태이다. 이러한 인천이 산업적 특성과 디자인의 필요성을 우선 ‘인천국제디자인공모전’의 필요성에 대한 연구를 통하여, 그동안 타 지역에 비해 낙후된 디자인 산업 및 인천경제 활성화에 이바지하도록 할 것이다. 그리고 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과를 토대로 인천에 걸 맞는 수준 높은 ‘인천국제디자인공모전’을 시행하는데 기초 자료로 활용하고, 나아가 우수한 디자인 전문가 양성 및 인재 발굴로 지자체, 기업, 학교가 서로 협동하여 새로운 국제도시 인천의 이미지 향상에 기여하고자 한다.

4년제 대학 과정평가형 자격과정 운영방안: 코리아텍 사례를 중심으로 (An Operating Scheme for the Course-based Qualification System at the Four-Year University Level: Focused on the KOREATECH Case)

  • 국가차원의 스펙초월 능력중심 사회 구현을 위한 다양한 NCS (national competency standards) 연계 정책들이 시행되고 채용방식이 NCS 기반의 직무중심으로 변화하고 있지만 정작 인재 양성을 담당하고 있는 대학, 특히 4년제 대학의 경우 이에 대한 대책이나 고민이 부족한 실정이다. 여전히 4년제 대학은 NCS 제도에 대해 관심과 이해가 부족하며, NCS 적용에 대해 미온적이다. 또한 시행 중인 2년제 대학에서도 성공적인 운영 사례 부족과 함께 실효성 미흡 등으로 4년제 대학 교과과정에 NCS를 적용하기 위한 연구 및 적용 예가 매우 드물다. 따라서 국가적으로 관심을 갖고 추진하고 있는 NCS 체계의 4년제 대학 학사제도 도입 및 특히 국가기술 자격과 연계한 학사제도 개편 및 운영방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 4년제 대학에 NCS 기반 과정평가형 자격과정(기사수준) 이수를 위한 교과과정 개편 및 운영방안에 대해 검토한다.
