본 논문에서는 한국기술교육대학교가 공학교육의 새로운 혁신모델로 도입예정인 산학관연계 장기현장실습(IPP) 제도의 기본 모형인 북미의 우수 Co-op (Co-Operative education) 모델을 벤치마킹하여 IPP제도의 성공적 도입을 위해서는 어떠한 요소가 필요한지에 대해 살펴보고자한다. 캐나다의 워터루대학, 미국의 노스이스턴대학 및 드렉셀대학의 Co-op프로그램의 특징, 역사 및 운영상태 등을 살펴보고 장단점등에 대해 비교분석하여 한국형 IPP 제도가 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 논하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 각 사례조사 대상 대학의 Co-op 프로그램에 참여한 학생, 프로그램 운영전문가 및 관리자를 대상으로 운영체계, 각종 보고서 및 심층면담에 얻은 자료를 바탕으로 사례분석을 실시하였다.

본 논문에서는 한국기술교육대학교가 공학교육의 새로운 혁신모델로 도입예정인 산학관연계 장기현장실습(IPP) 제도에 대해 제안하고 주요사항에 대해 논의한다. IPP 제도는 기존 단기 현장실습 제도의 문제점을 보완하고 100년의 장기현장실습 역사를 갖고 있는 북미의 co-op (co-operative education) 모델을 벤치마킹하여 대한민국 학제시스템에 적합하게 설계한 한국형 co-op 모델로 특히 기존의 co-op 시스템과 달리 정부(고용노동부)가 산학간의 협력교육을 적극 지원하는 제도이다. 제안하는 IPP 제도가 성공하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 기업의 대학교육에 대한 적극적인 참여와 open mind가 필요하며, 대학은 체계적인 학사시스템 설계 및 IPP 센터 등 인프라 구축이 선행되어야 한다.

Co-operative (Co-op) education is a college program that integrates classroom studies with paid, productive and real-life work experience. A mandatory Co-op program for the degree is introduced with a sample curriculum from the Mechanical Engineering program at University of the Pacific. The mandatory Co-op program requires a minimum of 7 months of work experience with the option of pursuing a 12 month program. Students also have the opportunity of participating in an Engineering Industry Fellowship (EIF) program or an International Engineering Co-op program (IECP). University of the Pacific has engineering programs in Bio-Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Physics, and Mechanical Engineering. All the programs are ABET-accredited except the Bio-Engineering program, which is relatively new. The Co-op employers evaluate the Co-op students at the end of the working period before returning to school, and the students also provide an evaluation of their Co-op experience. Co-op employer evaluations of student work are used in ABET assessment methods developed by the Mechanical Engineering program at University of the Pacific.

본 연구는 초등학생의 정보윤리의식 향상을 위하여 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모형을 개발하고 적용하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서 개발한 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습을 초등학교 5, 6학년을 대상으로 적용하고 효과를 분석하였다. 실험처치는 3주 동안 6차시에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 실험집단에는 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모형을 적용하고 비교집단에는 전통적인 방식의 자율적 협동학습 모형을 적용하였다. 정보윤리의식 수준의 향상 정도를 측정하기 위하여 두 집단 간 평균을 비교하는 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모델이 학습자의 정보윤리의식 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 학습자의 정보윤리의식 변화를 영역별로 분석한 결과 모든 영역에서 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모델이 학습자 정보윤리의식 향상에 유의미한 결과를 나타내었다.

Koreatech has adopted a long-term co-op program called IPP (Industry Professional Practice) to address problems in higher education of Korea since 2012, but it was anticipated to face many difficulties in implementing the program due to lack of relevant experiences in Korea. In this regard, a performance evaluation scheme was urgently required to judge the effectiveness of the Co-op program and improve the operational efficiency at the same time. This study aimed to develop comprehensive performance evaluation criteria for the co-op programs on the basis of Kirkpatrick's four-level performance evaluation model for training programs, and apply it to a real Co-op operation to test its feasibility. For this purpose, thorough review on the training program evaluation literature and in-depth analyses of overseas cases of co-op performance evaluation were conducted. Then, a set of Co-op performance evaluation criteria was developed and applied to the Koreatech's Co-op operation in 2013. Two Co-op student questionnaire surveys were administered before and after Co-op terms to measure students' reactions to the Co-op program (Level 1) and changes in participating students' attitudes and competencies (Level 2). In addition, employment rates of Co-op participating and non-participating students were compared (Level 4). The analysis findings showed that participating students were quite satisfied with their jobs and companies, and the Co-op program was effective to a certain degree at enhancing non-major competencies and attitudes to occupation of students. Together, the employment rate of Co-op participants, particularly in small- and medium-sized companies, grew significantly in comparison with that of non-participants. In the last part, several directions for improving the effectiveness of the Co-op programs were discussed.

The cooperation between universities and industries is already one of the most important factors driving the national economy in the knowledge-based society of the 21st century represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Korean government has also been carrying out legal and institutional re-adjustments to promote industrial-university cooperation in line with demands for such changes in the times. However, despite this industry-academic cooperation system, there is still a significant mismatch between industrial demand and the university's workforce development system. By the way, there is a Cooperative Education(CO-OP) in Canada and the United States. It's an innovative link between the university and the industry. The reason is that the CO-OP program not only allows students to gain experience with their majors in the industrial field, but also plays a positive role in improving their specialty expertise. In particular, field information, ideas, and job insights that students acquire through CO-OP also serve as motivation for starting a business beyond employment after graduation. Furthermore, CO-OP experience is an important opportunity for future researchers to come up with commercialized research results that are not separated from the field sites The purpose of this study is to overcome the gap between industrial demand and the college manpower training system, and develop a Korean-style coaching program model as a growth engine for creative talent-building policies, represented by 'creation of start-ups and new industry.' In addition, this study suggested measures that can be applied in real universities. In addition, the study also highlighted that the introduction of CO-OP programs with field practices in Korea could also boost start-ups. Based on the Korean CO-OP program model, the curricula applicable to domestic universities consisted of two types : general and research-oriented university types.

On July 6, 2021, the Ministry of Education revised and announced the operating regulations of the undergraduate co-op with the aim of protecting students rights and student-centered operation based on mutual benefits for students and institutions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze universities' perceptions against the amendment of regulation of the Ministry of Education's into universities/college, regions. According to a survey of 75 KACE, we found that colleges are more difficult than universities in terms of administrative work, company participation, reduced opportunities for co-op, and managing participating companies. Next, most of the regional differences in difficulties were not significant, and only the decline in company participation rate was more difficult in Daegyoung/Gangwon/Chungcheong/Jeju than in the metropolitan area. Finally, policy directions such as the differential application of practical support expenses according to the size of the company, tax benefits for institutions, and clarification of the concept of job training were presented.

우리나라에서 최초로 실행되는 한기대 IPP 제도는 실행과정에서 많은 어려움이 예상되며, 그 효과성 또한 아직 불확실하다. 따라서 한국형 IPP 제도의 실효성을 평가하고 프로그램 운영체계 및 과정에 대한 개선방안을 모색하기 위해 체계적인 성과평가모형의 개발이 절실하게 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 IPP 제도의 성과평가 방안을 Kirkpatrick의 4단계 평가모형에 기반하여 제시한다. 이를 위해 외국의 다양한 Co-op 평가사례를 분석하여 평가방법과 평가지표를 찾아내고, 이를 Kirkpatrick의 4단계(반응평가, 학습평가, 행동평가, 그리고 결과평가)에 매핑한다. 이러한 성과평가모형을 통해 IPP 프로그램의 성과와 문제점을 파악함으로써 고용노동부나 대학 내 학부 과 등 관련 이해관계자 집단들을 설득하고 지원을 얻는데 활용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 IPP 제도의 효과를 극대화시키는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

목적 : 본 연구는 국내 CO-OP 중재 연구를 체계적으로 고찰하여 임상적 근거를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 2015년 1월부터 2021년 12월까지 학술연구정보서비스(RISS), 학술교육원(e-article) 데이터베이스에 게재된 문헌 중 선정기준에 적합한 13편의 논문을 최종적으로 선택하여 연구 방법의 내용에 따라 일반적 특성과 질적 수준으로 나누어 분석하였다. 결과 : 연구 내용을 분석한 결과, 2015년 이후 연구가 지속적으로 진행되었으며 CO-OP 중재 연구의 근거 수준은 개별대상연구가 주를 이루었다. 연구 대상은 아동과 성인 모두에게 적용되고 있었으며, CO-OP 중재의 목표 활동 영역으로 아동은 놀이와 여가, 성인은 수단적 일상생활 영역으로 나타났다. 중재의 효과를 살펴보기 위한 평가로는 COPM과 PQRS 평가를 많이 사용하였으며 구체화 전략으로는 아동은 자세, 집중하기, 과제변형, 언어적 상상을 많이 사용하였고 성인은 자세, 집중하기, 과제변형, 움직임에 대한 느낌, 언어적 상상, 과제 촉진 언어를 주로 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 국내 CO-OP 중재를 적용한 연구의 특성과 질적 수준을 확인할 수 있었다. CO-OP 중재가 작업치료 분야에서 지속해서 적용되고 있으며, 적용 연령과 진단군이 확대되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 국내 CO-OP 중재 연구의 체계적 고찰을 통해 임상에서 CO-OP 중재를 실행하기 위한 근거 자료를 제공하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

최근 들어 졸업생의 취업 경쟁력 강화, 기업친화형 우수 인재 확보, 대학 내 산학협력 활성화를 위한 수단으로 Co-op 교육(장기현장실습) 중심의 산학협력교육에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 지금까지 우리나라 대학들은 전공연계성과 취업연계성이 낮은 단기 인턴십 위주의 현장실습 프로그램을 주로 운영해 왔다. 이러한 문제점에 대응하여, 정부는 현재 '현장실습 운영 지침' 제정을 추진하고 있으며, 장기현장실습 시범대학을 선정하는 등 장기현장실습 중심의 산학협력교육 활성화를 위해 노력하고 있다. 산학협력교육의 제도적 활성화를 위해서는 이 제도를 오랫동안 시행해 온 북미와 유럽의 대학들에 대한 다양한 사례 연구가 축적될 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 미국의 센트럴워싱턴대학교(CWU)를 사례로 하여 Co-op 교육의 운영 실태를 중심으로 분석하고, 산학협력교육 활성화를 위한 정책적 함의를 제시하였다. 사례 연구의 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, CWU 학생들은 주로 좁게는 카운티 내, 넓게는 워싱턴 주 내에서 현장실습을 수행하고 있으며, 실습을 했던 기관으로 취업을 하는 경우가 많아, 현장실습의 지역연계성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, CWU의 현장실습 프로그램은 전공연계성이 높고, 특히 인문사회, 예체능, 사범계열의 학생들의 현장실습이 활발한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 실습 참여 학생의 자격조건은 엄격한 대신, 전공 특성에 따라 유연하게 현장실습 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 하였을 때, 우리나라 대학들의 현장실습 프로그램 또한 전공연계성, 취업연계성, 지역연계성을 높이는데 초점을 둘 필요가 있고, 대학 및 전공의 특성에 따라 유연하게 운영할 필요가 있다고 판단된다.
