  • A circular image in a space don't appear as an exact circular image and appear as an oval in image buffer because distortion of camera lens, number of horizontal pixel of CCD photographing element and unmber of horizontal pixel of image buffer are not in accordance. By using familiar 3-D coordinate, know as circle's diameter, and cicle's center, you correct a pin-hole camera and get an exact circle with reprojection a circle into image buffer, according to a perspective.

  • A method of recognizing 2-dimensional polygonal object is proposed by using a concept of generalized incremental circle transform. The generalized incremental circle transform, which maps boundaries of an object into a circular disc, represents efficiently the shape of the boundaries that are obtained from digirized binary images of the objects. It is proved that the generalized incremental circle transform of an object is invariant to object translation, rotation, and size, and can be used as feature information for recognizing two dimensional polygonal object efficiently.

  • This paper is to present the problem of QC technique usage and improvement alternative in the QC circle. First, in the selection theme, it must have easy relations of tangible/intangible effects through simple theme's title. And contents development most be consistency in tangible/intangible effects. Second, in the usage of QC technique, it is necessary to strengthen QC circle activity through QC circle education. So in the aspects of long-term period. Internal instruction is strengthened and, in the aspects of short-term period, internal evaluation is established.

AN ALGORITHM FOR CIRCLE FITTING IN ℝ3

  • We are interested in the problem of determining the best fitted circle to a set of data points in space. This can be usually obtained by minimizing the geometric distances or various approximate algebraic distances from the fitted circle to the given data points. In this paper, we propose an algorithm in such a way that the sum of the squares of the geometric distances is minimized in ${\mathbb{R}}^3$. Our algorithm is mainly based on the steepest descent method with a view of ensuring the convergence of the corresponding objective function Q(u) to a local minimum. Numerical examples are given.

  • In this paper, we obtain some subsets of real numbers (ℝ) on which a fractional part function is defined as a real-valued continuous function. This gives rise to the analysis of the continuous properties of the fractional part function as a real-valued function. The analysis of fractional part function is helpful in the study of the dynamics of circle.

Comparison of circle hook and J hook catch rate for target and bycatch species taken in the Korean tuna longline fishery

  • The circle hook experiments were conducted to compare the catch rates of target and bycatch species between J hook and circle hooks in the tuna longline fishery of the eastern Pacific Ocean between $1^{\circ}48'S-7^{\circ}00'S\;and\;142^{\circ}00'-149^{\circ}13'W$ from July 15 to August 12, 2005. In the target species group no significant differences among 3 types hook, between size 4.0 traditional tuna hooks(J-4) and size 15 circle hooks(C15), and between C15 and size 18 circle hooks(C18) were revealed, but significant differences were found between J-4 and C18. In the bycatch species group significant differences were found among 3 types hook, between J 4 and C15, and between J-4 and C18, but no significant differences were revealed between C15 and C18. Large circle hook(C18) had the lowest catch rate for tunas and for other fishes, and the small circle hook(C15) had lowest rate for billfishes and sharks. The length distributions for bigeye tuna are very similar for the 3 hook types. There were very slight differences in length size between hook types in the bycatch species.

시기능 훈련 시스템을 이용한 훈련 효과에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Effect of Vision Training System)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 새롭게 개발한 MYSTERY CIRCLE, Anaglyphs 및 Block string을 이용하여 양안시 기능적, 감각적, 증상 변화에 대해 비교 관찰하고, 훈련방식별 개선효과와 실용 가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 대상자는 T안경원의 75명의 시기능 훈련 대상자(남자 40명, 여자 35명)이며 7주(49일)동안 시기능 훈련을 실시하였다. 결과: 모든 훈련방식(MYSTERY CIRCLE, Anaglyphs, Block string)에서 시기능 훈련자의 양안시 개선에 도움이 되었으나, 정상화 성공기준에 포함된 대상자수를 비교한 결과 MYSTERY CIRCLE훈련이 유의수준 0.05에서 다른 훈련방식과 유의한 차이를 보였다. 결론: 본 연구에서 MYSTERY CIRCLE 훈련이 양안시 이상자의 시기능 개선 및 정상화에 우수한 개선효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
