The purpose of this study was to analyze the life experiences of fifteen marriage immigrant Asian women who went through running away from their home countries, marrying with Korean men, divorcing from their husbands, and coping with many difficulties after their divorce in Korean society. In order to conduct this study grounded theory methods have been employed. The central phenomenon digged out from this study was 'resistance to baffled reality' (i. e. dislocation). The causal conditions which brought about the central phenomenon were 'escaping for survival' and 'experiencing the gap between reality and expectation. 'The intervening conditions included 'getting to know the reality of their husbands,' 'losing hope,' and 'not being able to pull themselves together.' The contextual conditions consisted of 'being treated as maids,' 'becoming victims of family violence,' 'making up their minds to survive,' 'securing future life,' 'being marginalized,' and 'being aware of themselves as strangers.' The action/interaction strategies on the central phenomenon were 'building support systems,' 'building up will for new life,' and 'reconstructing social identity.'The final outcome was 'arranging places of new settlement.' The divorce was classified as four types: 'coping and growth,' 'emancipation and settling down,' 'being overwhelmed by livelihood,' and 'continuous wandering.' Based on these results, this study provided a few political and practice suggestions to prevent family violence and divorces among multi-cultural families, and also to bumper the impacts of divorce.
The purpose of this study is to understand interrelationships among young entrepreneurs' growth factors, entrepreneurial capability and entrepreneurial intentions, targeting the students who major in culinary and foodservice. Based on total 327 samples obtained from the empirical research, this study reviewed reliability and fitness of the research model and verified total 2 hypotheses with the Amos program. The proposed model provided an adequate fit for the data, $x^2$=495.217 (p<.001), df=231, CMIN/DF 2.144, GFI .902, AGFI .878, NFI .911, CFI .954, RMSEA .067. The SEM results showed that the young entrepreneurs' growth factors such as policy support(${\beta}$=.457, p<.001), skills & knowledge(${\beta}$=.244, p<.01), role model(${\beta}$= .242, p<.05) in order had significantly positive effects on entrepreneurial capability, and entrepreneurial capability(${\beta}$= .787, p<.001) had positive(+) effects on entrepreneurial intentions, verifying organic causal relationships among the growth factors, entrepreneurial capability, and entrepreneurial capability. These study results showed that there should be more systematic supports to encourage young entrepreneurs. Limitations and further research directions are also discussed.

Objective:This study aims to evaluate the features of heart rate variability (HRV) and respiratory signals as indices for a driver's drowsiness and waking status in order to develop the classification model for a driver's drowsiness and waking status using those features. Background: Driver's drowsiness is one of the major causal factors for traffic accidents. This study hypothesized that the application of combined bio-signals to monitor the alertness level of drivers would improve the effectiveness of the classification techniques of driver's drowsiness. Method: The features of three heart rate variability (HRV) measurements including low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF), and LF/HF ratio and two respiratory measurements including peak and rate were acquired by the monotonous car driving simulation experiments using the photoplethysmogram (PPG) and respiration sensors. The experiments were repeated a total of 50 times on five healthy male participants in their 20s to 50s. The classification model was developed by selecting the optimal measurements, applying a binary logistic regression method and performing 3-fold cross validation. Results: The power of LF, HF, and LF/HF ratio, and the respiration peak of drowsiness status were reduced by 38%, 22%, 31%, and 7%, compared to those of waking status, while respiration rate was increased by 3%. The classification sensitivity of the model using both HRV and respiratory features (91.4%) was improved, compared to that of the model using only HRV feature (89.8%) and that using only respiratory feature (83.6%). Conclusion: This study suggests that the classification of driver's drowsiness and waking status may be improved by utilizing a combination of HRV and respiratory features. Application: The results of this study can be applied to the development of driver's drowsiness prevention systems.
This study aims at examining how it becomes to change the interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability development of elementary rejected children when teacher practices counseling strategy in classroom To do this, 130 fifth-graders of 4 classrooms from H Elementary School in B City went through Ahn Ie-hwan's(2007) social status type system by using the peer nomination, Then, 21 children were labeled as rejected children. Among them, 16 children were divided into experimental group & control group, 8 for the each group. In order to improve the interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability of rejected children with teacher's counseling strategy in classroom used in this study, 5 weeks activity made according to the level of classroom was carried out in four sides, that is, setting of classroom structure-environments, classroom activities, counseling activities, cooperative learning method, referring to Dreikurs'(1971) 'The counseling strategy in classroom' composed of self-discipline, cooperation, mutual respect, shared responsibility, and social equality. This study obtained the following results. First, There was a significant effect in improving the interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability of rejected children. Looking into sub-factors, there was a significant effect in improving consequential thought and method-ends thought except alternative solution thought and causal thought. Second, there was a significant difference in social status & change of 5 types of children in social status in the respective classrooms when those of the experimental group where teacher's counseling strategy in classroom carried out and those of the control group where teacher's counseling strategy in classroom not carried out were compared. To conclude the results mentioned above, We can see the fact that the counseling strategy in classroom positively affected interpersonal cognitive problem solving ability.
This study analyzed the causal relationship between cooperation elements and the performance of joint R&D and verified the mediating effect of collaborative efforts. Cooperation elements consist of strategic agreement, complementation of resources, trust and absorption capacity, and influence the intention to participate in the joint R&D. The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of the cooperation elements and collaborative efforts on the short-term and long-term performance of the joint R&D. The results are summarized as follows: First, it is verified that strategic agreement, complementation of resources, trust and absorption capacity constitute the second order factor of cooperation elements, which positively affects the joint R&D performance. Second, it is verified that collaborative effort play a role as a mediating factor in the relationship between joint R&D performance and cooperation elements. Specifically, it was confirmed that positive effects on short-term performance of the joint R&D can be increased through cooperative efforts. However, in the case of long-term performance, the effects of collaborative efforts could not be confirmed.
The purpose of this study is to develop and secure the human resources of SMEs by examining the causal relationship between job characteart-time job experience and career development of youth. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 10,119 youths in the middle and high schools in Korea who participated in the panel data collection by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were surveyed from May 20 to July 12 in 2013, Panel data were used. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the part-time job experience had a statistically significant effect on the planning, which is a sub-area of career development. Second, the part-time job experience has a statistically significant effect on attitude, a sub-domain of career development. Third, it was found that the part-time job experience had a statistically significant effect on the self knowledge, which is a sub-domain of career development. Fourth, it was shown that the part-time job experience had a statistically significant effect on career behavior, one of the sub-areas of career development. Fifth, it was found that the part-time experience characteristics had a statistically significant effect on the independence of sub-domains of career development. Therefore, since the part-time work of youth has a positive effect on career development, it is expected that the human resources of the future of SMEs will be secured if they create a place for career experience and job experience in connection with middle, high school and SMEs.

This study constructed a prediction model based on covariance structure to identify the causal relationship between job stress, fatigue, burnout, and job satisfaction on turnover intention in nurses working in general hospitals. The study subjects were 648 nurses at a general hospital in D city. Data collection was surveyed by using self-administered questionnaires structured during the period from November 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. As a result, the level of turnover intention was significantly higher in the group showing higher job stress, fatigue, and burnout and significantly higher in the group showing lower job satisfaction. The turnover intention of subjects showed a significant positive correlation with job stress, fatigue, and burnout but showed a negative correlation with job satisfaction. As a result of covariance structure analysis, job stress had greater influence on turnover intention than fatigue, burnout, and job satisfaction. Higher job stress, fatigue, and burnout and lower job satisfaction were associated with increased turnover intention. The results of this study show that the turnover intention of general hospital nurses is significantly related to job stress, fatigue, burnout, and job satisfaction. In particular, job stress had a greater effect on turnover than fatigue, burnout, and job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to lower the turnover intention of general hospital nurses, it is necessary to seek ways to mitigate job stress.
This study is aimed to obtain the influence of port hinterlands on container cargo volumes of Incheon port using System Dynamics(SD). Also, macro economic index such as exchange rates(US dollar), balance of current account, capital balance, Japan trade, China trade, export unit value index, import unit value index, total turnover of Incheon port were used as the factors that influence container cargo volumes of Incheon port. Moreover micro index regarding port hinterlands' operating companies such as total sales, rental fee, number of employees were introduced in the simulation model. In order to measure accuracy of the simulation, this study implemented MAPE analysis. And after the implementation, the simulation was decided as a much more accurate model because MAPE value was calculated to be within 10%. This study respectively examined factors using the sensitivity analysis. As a result, in terms of the effects on cargo volume in Incheon Port, the factor named 'cargo volumes of port hinterlands' operating companies' is most significant. And increasing the rental fee of hinterland was resulted in decreasing the cargo volumes of Incheon port.
In the 21st century, Internet information has a huge impact on citizens' participation in public policy process and trust in government. If the quality of Internet information is more positively perceived, the impact will be greater. In order to identify that causal relation, we construct the elements which make up the quality of Internet information and then analyze the impact of that quality on citizens' participation in public policy process and trust in government. First, positive perception about the quality of Internet information increases online participation and decreases offline participation in public policy process. Second, online participation activates offline participation significantly. Third, offline participation has a negative impact on trust in government. In sum, the quality of Internet information activates online participation, which, in turn, contributes a lot to an increase in offline participation and eventually weakens trust in government. On the other hand, the improved quality of Internet information weakens offline participation in public policy process and could contribute to the improvement of trust in government.

The purpose of this study is to suggest implications for maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of IPP work-learning by studying the effects of the personal characteristics of trainees and firm's field teacher on trainees' employability. The following conclusions were drawn by verifying the causal relationship between factors based on a questionnaire (157 copies) distributed to 200 trainees (learning workers) of 9 universities participating in IPP work-learning training. First, in order to increase the employability of IPP trainees, it is necessary to select trainees with strong core competencies and failure tolerance by verifying individual characteristics of trainees. Secondly, companies should appoint senior staff with strong leadership and teaching capacity as corporate field teachers, and corporate field teacher training institutions should reinforce the training to improve their leadership. Third, work-learning companies should be selected as those with high social integration and absorption capacity, and those companies should try to build an organizational culture of acquiring and learning new technologies. The results of this study are expected to contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of work-learning training by establishing a training system that can systematically select trainees and participating companies and enhance the training capacity of companies and field teachers.
