종합병원 간호사의 회복탄력성, 감정노동이 재직의도에 미치는 영향 (Factors Influencing Nurses' Intention to Stay in General Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting general hospital nurses' intention to stay in their jobs. Methods: A descriptive research design was used with a convenience sample of 286 nurses. Data were collected from March 15 to April 14, 2017using self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: The mean scores for intention to stay, resilience, and emotional labor were 5.28 out of 8, 57.40 out of 100, and 3.23 out of 5, respectively. Intention to stay was positively correlated with overall career (r=.30), workplace (r=.18), shift work (r=-.20), position (r=.28), salary (r=.13), job satisfaction (r=.51), hospital satisfaction (r=.46), and resilience (r=.41). Factors influencing the intention to stay were job satisfaction and resilience, which explained 28% of the variance. Conclusion: Overall career, job satisfaction, and resilience are critical factors affecting general hospital nurses' intention to stay. Based on the findings of this study, efforts to improve nurses' job satisfaction and resilience should be implemented to mitigate the loss of this expert group among healthcare professionals.

간호대학생의 자아탄력성과 진로의식성숙이 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Ego-resiliency and Career consciousness maturity of Nursing students on Job-seeking stress)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 진로의식성숙 및 취업스트레스 간의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2021년 10월 22일부터 11월 21일까지이며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 187명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 일반적 특성, 자아탄력성, 진로의식성숙 및 취업스트레스를 파악하였다. 자료분석은 IBM SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 자아탄력성은 진로의식성숙과 양의 상관관계가 있었고, 진로의식성숙은 취업스트레스와 음의 상관관계가 있었다. 취업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변수는 진로의식성숙이었고, 취업스트레스를 43% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 간호대학생이 취업스트레스를 줄이고 직업에 대한 긍정적인 진로계획을 세울 수 있도록 간호대학생의 취업역량강화 프로그램 개발과 적용이 필요하다.

병원간호사의 직장내 괴롭힘과 회복탄력성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Workplace Bullying and Resilience on the Organizational Commitment in General Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of workplace bullying experience and resilience on organizational commitment in general hospital nurses. Methods: Participants were 250 nurses of a general hospital in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Gangwoen-do. Data were collected using the structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: As a result of multiple regression analysis, workplace bullying, resilience, clinical career, and work unit turned out to be variables that explained general hospital nurses' organizational commitment (Adj. $R^2=0.17$, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings suggest that bullying and resilience were defined as the influential variables on organizational commitment of nurses. Therefore strategies and programs about workplace bullying and resilience are needed to be developed.

임상간호사의 직무스트레스, 자아탄력성이 간호업무수행에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Stress and Resilience on Nursing Performance of the Hospital Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 종합병원 간호사의 직무스트레스, 자아탄력성, 및 간호업무수행 정도를 파악하고, 간호업무수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 하였다. K시 종합병원 간호사 141명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2020년 9월 부터 10월 까지 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA 및 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 직무스트레스는 평균 44.21±9.15점, 자아탄력성은 평균 2.86±0.65점 이었으며 간호업무수행은 평균 3.78±0.48점 이었다. 간호업무수행에 영향을 미치는 요인은 총 임상경력, 현 부서경력, 자아탄력성으로 나타났으며 37%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 따라서 간호업무수행을 증진할 수 있도록 간호조직 차원에서 이러한 요인들을 고려하고 자아탄력성을 증진할 수 있는 교육프로그램을 구성하고 실현할 수 있는 전략 모색이 필요하다.

간호사의 공감역량과 직무스트레스가 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향 (Influencing Factors of Empathic Competence and Occupational Stress of Nurses on Their Ego-resilience)

  • Purpose: This descriptive survey study assesses the extent of empathic competence, occupational stress, and ego-resilience of nurses, and confirms factors that affect ego-resilience in order to provide basic data for the competency development program for nurses. Methods: Data obtained from the questionnaire survey conducted with 193 nurses were analyzed by means of t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient and Multiple Regression. Results: Empathic competence, in accordance with the general characteristics of nurses, displayed statistically significant differences in terms of final academic background. Further, occupational stress and ego-resilience displayed statistically significant differences related to the nurses' department of employment, age, and total clinical experiences, respectively. Empathic competence and ego-resilience have a significant positive correlation, and age and empathic competence were found to be the factors that impart influence on ego-resilience. Conclusion: The enhancement of empathic competence of nurses has affirmative effects on the satisfaction of patients with their nurses, and it also improves the ego-resilience of nurses. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and apply career training program aimed at enhancing the empathic competence of nurses as an in-service educational program.

간호사의 탄력성과 직무 스트레스 및 직무만족도 (A Study of Nurses' Resilience, Occupational Stress and Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the clinical nurses' resilience, occupational stress, and occupational satisfaction and to identify the correlations among them. Methods: Structured questionnaires were administered with total 75 questions for 433 nurses working at a university hospital in Jin-ju from July 19 to 30, 2010. Data from the completed questionnaires were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN program. Results: The resilience had a significant difference according to the age, marital status, religion, education level, annual income, motive of choosing the nursing science, clinical career, position, and workplace. Resilience had a negative correlation with occupational stress (r=-.405), and had a positive correlation with occupational satisfaction (r=.380). Occupational stress had a negative correlation with occupational satisfaction (r=-.637). Conclusion: The higher their resilience was, the lower their occupational stress and the higher the occupational satisfaction. It is recommended that intervention program be developed that can enhance personal resilience in nurse.

  • Purpose: The study aim was to investigate factors affecting factors nursing performance. Methods: This descriptive correlation study examined degree of mindfulness, resilience, organizational commitment, and nursing performance in order to confirm the correlation between variables and their effects on nursing performance. Study participants were 193 nurses who had more than 1 year of work experience at a tertiary hospital. The data were collected from March to April 2022 using structured self-reported questionnaires. SPSS/WIN 25.0 program was used to analyze the data. The statistical significance of the mediating effects were verified by applying PROCESS Macro. Results: Resilience, health state, total clinical career years, and organizational commitment were identified as factors affecting nursing performance, with the model explaining 51.6% of outcomes. Resilience had a complete mediating effect on the relationship between mindfulness and nursing performance. Conclusion: To improve nursing performance, various education and training must be developed and implemented to strengthen resilience. Additionally, it will be helpful to apply a mindfulness-based program to improve resilience. Further, designing various measures to improve the work environment and increase organizational commitment is recommended.

Influence of Job Embeddedness and Resilience on Turnover Intention in Dental Hygienists

  • Background: Maintaining a skilled workforce by minimizing the turnover of competent dental hygienists is very important for securing dental competitiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to find a predictor of turnover and lower turnover intention. To understand dental hygienist turnover, it is necessary to study the resilience, a positive factor of personal characteristics and job embeddedness that induces residual tissue. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dental hygienists' job embeddedness and resilience on turnover intention. Methods: A survey was conducted on licensed dental hygienists nationwide, from March 19 to July 19, 2020. T-test and one way ANOVA analysis were performed to compare the job embeddedness, resilience, and turnover intention according to the general characteristics. Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to identify the correlation between job embeddedness, resilience, and turnover intention. Multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the effect on the turnover intention. Results: Job embeddedness was the highest with link and resilience scoring 3.57 and 4.16, respectively. The turnover intention scored 3.53. Among the general characteristics, age, marriage, total dental clinic career, education degree, and position showed statistically significant differences in job embeddedness, resilience, and turnover intention. Suitability, link, and sacrifice of job embeddedness were shown to affect the degree of turnover intention, with an explanatory power of 26.2%. Conclusion: In order to reduce the dental hygienists' turnover intention, job embeddedness and resilience should be increased. Thus, measures should be undertaken for professional and systematic program development and human resources management.

상급종합병원 간호사의 간호서비스 질에 영향을 미치는 요인: 회복탄력성과 간호조직문화를 중심으로 (Factors Influencing Quality of Nursing Service among Clinical Nurses: Focused on Resilience and Nursing Organizational Culture)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine nursing organizational culture and resilience and their effects on quality of nursing service. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted. A convenience sampling method was used to collect data from 199 participants who worked in a tertiary hospital in G city. Demographic and work related variables, quality of nursing service, resilience, and nursing organizational culture were measured using validated self-report questionnaires. Results: All of the participants were women and the majority were staff nurses and single. A statistically significant difference in quality of nursing service was found for age, marital status, educational level, clinical career, position and perceived health status. Age, educational level, clinical career, position, resilience, innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, and hierarchy-oriented culture were significant predictors of quality of nursing service, explaining 47% of total variance. Among the predictors, resilience was the strongest predictor, followed by innovation-oriented culture, and hierarchy-oriented culture. Conclusion: Findings indicate that quality of nursing service can be improved by raising individual nurse's resilience and advancing nursing organizational culture. Considering the identified factors, researchers and administrators need to develop and provide clinical nurses with a variety of programs to improve the quality of their nursing service.

미술치료사의 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 자아탄력성의 매개효과와 사회적 지지의 조절된 매개효과 (The Mediation Effect of Ego-resilience and the Moderated Mediation Effect of Social Support in the Relationship between Art Therapists' Job Stress and Burnout)

  • 본 연구는 미술치료사의 직무스트레스, 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지, 소진의 구조적 관계에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 선행연구를 바탕으로 직무스트레스를 독립변인, 자아탄력성을 매개변인, 사회적 지지를 조절변인, 소진을 종속변인으로 하여 연구모형을 설정하고 그 관계와 효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 미술치료사를 대상으로 300부의 설문지를 배포하여 최종 233부를 실증분석에 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인 환경적 요인(학력, 경력, 치료시간, 시간 당 소득, 슈퍼비전 횟수) 중 경력만이 유의한 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 직무스트레스와 소진간의 관계는 자아탄력성에 의해 부분 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 지지는 자아탄력성과 소진의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타냈다. 따라서 직무스트레스가 소진에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 자아탄력성이 이를 매개하며, 이러한 매개효과가 사회적 지지의 수준에 따라서 달라지는 것으로 나타나 조절된 매개효과가 확인되었다.
