A Study on the Comparative study for the Four-year Collegiate Career Preparation Behavior by Grade Level : The case of C University (4년제 대학생들의 학년별 취업준비행동 비교연구 -C 대학을 사례로-)

  • In this study, it was to prepare a plan for improving the employment rate of college students after identifying employment preparation behavior by grade level. Based on data collected in this study, frequency analysis was analyzed and in order to find out the difference of employment preparation behavior between grade level, Cross-analysis was performed. The results, all items showed that significant differences by grade level in preparation for employment actions such as choice of a double major, workers' experience in college education services, language training experience in foreign countries, setting career in college education services, setting a goal for employment, seeking for employment in college education services, participation in employment activity for researching job, education/training-related job, having an official license. Implications for activation direction of employment preparation of college student by grade level is as follows. First, it is necessary for encouraging actively employment intention of the students. Second, there is a need for institutional support for certification and expanding language training opportunities. Third, in the case of a local university, it is necessary for enhancing competency for employment through the promotion of basic education for students.

Impact of social support of students majoring fashion in colleges on career decision-making self efficacy and behaviors preparing a further career (전문대학 패션 전공 학생들의 사회적 지지가 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study proposes the requirements for students in colleges majoring in fashion at two-year colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do to perform behaviors in preparation for a further career more effectively by identifying the impact of social support on the career decision-making self-efficacy, and behaviors preparing a further career. The results of this study are described below. In accordance with the analysis on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and behaviors preparing a further career, and the social support, the social support had a positive impact on the career decision-making self-efficacy and a negative impact on the behaviors preparing a further career. Moreover, the career decision-making self-efficacy had a positive impact on the behaviors preparing a further career. In accordance with the analysis, social support from family members or relevant third parties is required for improving the behavior of students majoring fashion in colleges to prepare a further career. To this end, the quantity or scope of social support is not the main issue, but the meticulous approach to fit each student's need for making students recognize such social support. It is important for students in colleges to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy by accurately identifying their abilities, values or desires.

  • This study analyzed the direct and indirect effects of job competency education on job goal setting, job preparation behavior and first job satisfaction from the perspective that successful employment requires improving the job ability needed for college students. Data on 5,044 students were analyzed based on the 2013GOMS of Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS). The study findings are summarized as follows. First, job competency education not only acted positively on job goal setting but also contributed to promoting job preparation behavior. Second, job preparation behavior contributed to improving satisfaction with the first job. Third, indirect effects of job competency education and job goal setting in first job satisfaction. In conclusion, job competencies enhances the possibility that college students may obtain their wanted job by setting a clear goal for their job and having a positive effect on the required behavior. Accordingly, college student should try to reinforce their special capability to accomplish the given job as career professionals in consideration of their aptitude rather than devoting themselves to reinforcing their basic capability such as linguistic ability. For this purpose, both universities and the government should develop educational programs for college students to grasp their aptitude and cultivate their special ability to become career professionals and provide a foundation for them to become talented professionals armed with special capability by proving support for job ability improvement.

Study on the safety management of radiation: centering on the radiation workers in medical institutions (방사선안전관리에 대한 조사 : 의료기관 방사선조사자를 중심으로)

  • While the use of radiation in the medical field provides diagnosis and treatment with important benefits, we cannot deny that the radiation bombing causes some hindrances. The expansion of radiation use in modem medicine is essential, so the radiation use and preparation of proper measure for safety management has risen as a pressing subject. Therefore, in order to make defensive plans for the prevention of health obstacles to general users of radiation and for the provision of basic data of the health education programs to radiation workers by grasping the knowledge, attitude and behavior towards the radiation safety management of radiation workers in each medical institution and by analyzing the factors that affect the actions of radiation safety management, in this study we conducted questionnaires from September 26 to November 5, 2001 targeting 805 radiation workers in 108 medical institutions including university hospitals, general hospitals, hospitals, clinics and public health centers etc. located in Seoul, four metropolitan cities and small and medium cities, and has obtained the following results. 1. The average point of knowledge on the radiation safety management was 10.96 out of 15. As for the general characteristics, the level of knowledge on radiation safety management was higher with older age, high education background and longer career. 2. The average point of attitude on the radiation safety management was 66.36 out of 75. The attitude point for general characteristics were higher with higher education background, longer career and in case of universities, the level of attitude on the radiation safety management was high. 3. The average of action points on the radiation safety management was 56.09 out of 75. In general characteristics, the action level of radiation safety level was higher with older age, longer career, and the reception of radiation education and in case of university hospitals. 4. It is analyzed that the relation of knowledge, attitude and behavior on the radiation safety management is higher as the levels of knowledge and attitude on the radiation safety management is higher. 5. As a result of analyzing the factors that affect the knowledge on the radiation safety management, the variables that can be explained best was in the order of ‘the behavior on the radiation safety management’, ‘work career’, ‘the attitude on the radiation safety management’, and ‘school career’. 6. As a result of analyzing the factors that affect the attitude on the radiation safety management, the variables that can be explained best was in the order of ‘the behavior on the radiation safety management’, ‘the knowledge on the radiation safety management’, and ‘school career’. 7.   • The study examines whether there is support for undergraduate students of Department of NCOs leadership needs and self-perceived any casualty, the purpose being placed to identify the cause-and effect relationship between student's behavior and these self-appointed leadership needs parameters. To study this end, the men and women college students Military major in Busan district using the convenience of the student sample extraction to extract the 362 students. Setting the model to achieve the object of the study, and then through a structural equation model (SEM) were studies a causal relationship among variables. Result on the basis of the research study model verification method as described above what is derived from this study were as follows. First, self-leadership is confirmed in the career planning of clarity on the impact of career beliefs centered strategies(+) target-oriented strategy(+), and independent self-reliance, check-centered strategies(+), constructive thinking strategies(+), ERA=centric strategy(+), in the natural course flexibility, compensation strategies(+), constructive thinking strategies(+) improve professional skills appeared to affect the check-centered strategies(+), ERA-centered strategies(+). Second, self-leadership is general satisfaction at the impact of major satisfaction natural reward strategies(+), the curriculum meets the natural reward strategies(+) target-oriented strategy(+) recognition satisfy the natural reward strategies(+) target-oriented strategy(+) appeared to affect this. Third, career beliefs Major General satisfaction in the impact on satisfaction Career Planning Clarity(+), an independent self-reliance(+), career flexibility(+)improve professional skills(+), the curriculum satisfies independent self-reliance(+), career flexibility(+) improve professional skills(+), the self-satisfied recognized independent trust(+), career flexibility(+), career planning clarity(+) it appeared to influence this.

Study on the Influence of Growth Mindset of University Students on Occupational Engagement: Testing the Mediation Effect of Career Adaptability (대학생의 성장마인드셋과 진로관여행동의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효과 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of career adaptability in the relationship between growth mindset and occupational engagement. A total of 203 data were collected through an online survey targeting university students. For data analysis, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis were used via SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 software. As a result of the study, growth mindset had a direct effect on occupational engagement (𝛽=.254, p<.01) and the mediating effect of growth mindset on occupational engagement through career adaptability was also statistically significant. (𝛽=.137, p<.01). This study suggests that it is important to promote occupational engagement for students' correct career guidance, and to this end a practical strategy for cultivating a growth mindset and career adaptability is needed.

  • Looking at the problem of aging in the nation from a demographic perspective, it is not a problem of the overall population, but of the structure of the population. It is the baby boomer and post-baby boomers, the largest population in the country. Baby boomers were born between 1955 and 1963, and currently have a population of 7001,333, which is 13.6 percent (as of 2015). The Post-Baby Boomer generation was born between 1964 and 1974, with a total population of 9,567,171, accounting for 18.8 percent of the total population. In particular, baby boomers and post-baby boomers (32.4% of the total population) have begun to retire or will retire soon. The average life expectancy continues to increase due to the development of medical technology, and the falling birth rate of newborns and the declining population of the production population are darkening the domestic economy. In a policy proposal aimed at easing the nation's falling economic growth rate, women's participation rate is as high as Sweden and men's efforts to increase it as high as Japan's, while the elderly rate is desirable to maintain Korea's high level. This is because the expansion of the elderly generation's participation in economic activities could ease a sharp drop in economic growth and reduce the burden of supporting the elderly population. The study, based on this social problem awareness and problem solving plan, looks at the relationship between career orientation and satisfaction in start-up education based on the diverse career base of active seniors, and also suggests the importance of customized start-up education on the diversity of active seniors by clarifying the relationship between them, and suggests the desirable direction of senior start-up policy design, funding, and start-up education. Based on the theoretical background, the concept of five factors was defined: active senior, career-oriented, satisfaction level of start-up education, willingness to start a business, and the concept definition of an active senior, which is particularly key to the baby boomers in their 50s and 60s, is generally regarded as a source of consumption or welfare benefits, but in this study, the concept of active start-up is reflected in the domestic start-up market by young people in their 40s, 50s and 60s. As a result of a hypothesis test. Hypothesis 1 and Hypothesis 5: Career orientation has been verified to affect the willingness to start a business and the behavior of preparation for a start-up. Hypothesis 3: The willingness to start a business has been verified as having an effect between startup preparation actions. Hypothesis 4: The satisfaction level of start-up education has been verified to affect start-up preparation behavior. However, hypothesis 2: The satisfaction level of education for start-ups does not affect the willingness to start a business. Such results can be inferred that satisfaction in start-up education does not have a direct effect on the will to start a business and increases the will to start a business through the influence of personal career orientation.

The Effect of the Department Satisfaction of the College Students Majoring in Security on the Career Expectation Consciousness (경호전공대학생의 학과만족이 직업기대의식에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate an effect of the department satisfaction of college students majoring in security on the career expectation consciousness, and through this to propose basic data to help college students prepare positive school life and career and increase school life adaptation; doing this, it is to investigate the cause to promote not only their development but also school development. As of 2013, I set up a population targeting female and male college students majoring in security at Y University located in Y City, Gyeonggi Province, K University in G City, North Gyeongsang Province, and H University in C City, South Chungcheong Province and conducted study targeting the total 352 students using the random sampling method. The research tool was questionnaires, which I used by recomposing on the basis of the precedent studies at home and abroad. Regarding data processing, I used SPSS WIN 18.0 and carried out frequency analysis, one-way analysis of duncan variance, post hoc analysis, reliability analysis, factorial analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Through the above research methods and data analysis according to the procedures I drew conclusions as follows: First, the department satisfaction according to demographic characteristics of the college students majoring in security had a partially significant difference. Second, the career expectation according to demographic characteristics of the college students majoring in security had a partially significant difference. Third, the effect of the department satisfaction of the college students majoring in security on the career expectation consciousness was partial.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하기 위함이다. 일 지역 159명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 자료수집은 2014년 9월 25일부터 10월 4일까지 진행되었으며 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21에 의해 분석되었다. 연구결과로는 간호전문직관, 전공만족도 및 긍정심리자본이 대상자의 진로준비행동에 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 전공만족도의 교과만족과 간호전문직관의 사회적 인식인 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 긍정심리자본은 비록 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았지만 앞으로도 대학생의 진로관련 변인과의 관련성을 규명하는 반복연구가 요구된다.

Social work field training awareness on the impact of the research career (사회복지현장실습이 진로의식에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the social welfare field training course there is a growing awareness as professionals in order to verify the impact was conducted. G-local four-year university study social work majors by sampling 198 people were examined for the purpose, through self - survey was conducted. Materials and analytical methods in order to identify the characteristics of a variable frequency, and technical analysis, T-test, F-test, ANOVA, correlation (correlation), Regression (regression) was used for the SPSS 14.0. The results are as follows. First, the personal factors of the individual physician trainees reflect (${\beta}=.197$), and then the same about Social Welfare satisfaction (${\beta}=.205$) of the Social Welfare majors had significant impact on career identity. Second, the personal factors they chose what to major in social work satisfaction (${\beta}=-.291$), and if you feel you select a parent with a major in Social Work and Social Welfare major students feel the satisfaction of having a significant effect on the level of career decision crazy. Third, individual reflect personal physician factors (${\beta}=.156$) is significantly influenced the behavior of career preparation.
