ON A NEW CLASS OF FUNCTIONS RELATED WITH MITTAG-LEFFLER AND WRIGHT FUNCTIONS AND THEIR PROPERTIES

  • In the present paper, we define new class of functions Tα,β(λ; z) which is an extension of the classical Wright function and the Mittag-Leffler function. We show some mean value inequalities for the this function, such as Turán-type inequalities, Lazarević-type inequalities and Wilker-type inequalities. Moreover, integrals formula and integral inequality for the function Tα,β(λ; z) are presented.

  • Exton [Hypergeometric functions of three variables, J. Indian Acad. Math. 4 (1982), 113~119] introduced 20 distinct triple hypergeometric functions whose names are $X_i$ (i = 1, ..., 20) to investigate their twenty Laplace integral representations whose kernels include the confluent hypergeometric functions $_oF_1$, $_1F_1$, a Humbert function ${\Psi}_2$, a Humbert function ${\Phi}_2$. The object of this paper is to present 16 (presumably new) integral representations of Euler type for the Exton hypergeometric function $X_2$ among his twenty $X_i$ (i = 1, ..., 20), whose kernels include the Exton function $X_2$ itself, the Appell function $F_4$, and the Lauricella function $F_C$.

  • Exton introduced 20 distinct triple hypergeometric functions whose names are $X_i$ (i = 1, ${\ldots}$, 20) to investigate their twenty Laplace integral representations whose kernels include the confluent hypergeometric functions $_0F_1$, $_1F_1$, a Humbert function ${\Psi}_1$, and a Humbert function ${\Phi}_2$. The object of this paper is to present 18 new integral representations of Euler type for the Exton hypergeometric function $X_8$, whose kernels include the Exton functions ($X_2$, $X_8$) itself, the Horn's function $H_4$, the Gauss hypergeometric function $F$, and Lauricella hypergeometric function $F_C$. We also provide a system of partial differential equations satisfied by $X_8$.

Modified Analytic Solutions of F.C.C. Metal Clusters

  • By including the overlap integrals between atomic orbitals, the modified cluster orbitals for a metal cluster of face centered cubic lattice are found. The modified analytic solutions of the cluster are obtained from them with the assumption that the cluster orbitals with different state indices do not mix together. The physical properties-the HOMO levels and the unit electronic energies-of Ni, Pd, and Pt clusters of various size, calculated by the modified cluster orbital method, agree better with the results obtained by the Extended Huckel calculation than those of the previous(unmodified) cluster orbital method do. As a result, it is verified that the physical properties, at least those related to the energy levels, obtained by the Extended Huckel method may be reproduced by use of the modified cluster orbital method instead.

  • The new p-version crack model is proposed to estimate the bending stress intensity factors of the thick cracked plate under flexure. The proposed model is based on high order theory and $C^{\circ}$-plate element including shear deformation. The displacements fields are defined by integrals of Legerdre polynomials which can be classified into three groups such as basic mode, side mode and internal mode. The computer implementation allows arbitrary variations of p-level up to a maximum value of 10. The bending stress intensity factors are computed by virtual crack extention approach. The effects of ratios of thickness to crack length(h/a), crack length to width(a/W) and boundary conditions are investigated. Very good agreement with the existing solution in the literature are shown for the uncracked plate as well as the cracked plate.

TRANSLATION THEOREM FOR THE ANALYTIC FEYNMAN INTEGRAL ASSOCIATED WITH BOUNDED LINEAR OPERATORS ON ABSTRACT WIENER SPACES AND AN APPLICATION

  • The Cameron-Martin translation theorem describes how Wiener measure changes under translation by elements of the Cameron-Martin space in an abstract Wiener space (AWS). Translation theorems for the analytic Feynman integrals also have been established in the literature. In this article, we derive a more general translation theorem for the analytic Feynman integral associated with bounded linear operators (B.L.OP.) on AWSs. To do this, we use a certain behavior which exists between the analytic Fourier-Feynman transform (FFT) and the convolution product (CP) of functionals on AWS. As an interesting application, we apply this translation theorem to evaluate the analytic Feynman integral of the functional $$F(x)={\exp}\left(-iq\int_{0}^{T}x(t)y(t)dt\right),\,y{\in}C_0[0,\,T],\;q{\in}{\mathbb{R}}\,{\backslash}\,\{0\}$$ defined on the classical Wiener space C0[0, T].

CHARACTERIZATION OF FUNCTIONS VIA COMMUTATORS OF BILINEAR FRACTIONAL INTEGRALS ON MORREY SPACES

  • For $b{\in}L^1_{loc}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, let ${\mathcal{I}}_{\alpha}$ be the bilinear fractional integral operator, and $[b,{\mathcal{I}}_{\alpha}]_i$ be the commutator of ${\mathcal{I}}_{\alpha}$ with pointwise multiplication b (i = 1, 2). This paper shows that if the commutator $[b,{\mathcal{I}}_{\alpha}]_i$ for i = 1 or 2 is bounded from the product Morrey spaces $L^{p_1,{\lambda}_1}({\mathbb{R}}^n){\times}L^{p_2,{\lambda}_2}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ to the Morrey space $L^{q,{\lambda}}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ for some suitable indexes ${\lambda}$, ${\lambda}_1$, ${\lambda}_2$ and $p_1$, $p_2$, q, then $b{\in}BMO({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, as well as that the compactness of $[b,{\mathcal{I}}_{\alpha}]_i$ for i = 1 or 2 from $L^{p_1,{\lambda}_1}({\mathbb{R}}^n){\times}L^{p_2,{\lambda}_2}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ to $L^{q,{\lambda}}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ implies that $b{\in}CMO({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ (the closure in $BMO({\mathbb{R}}^n)$of the space of $C^{\infty}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ functions with compact support). These results together with some previous ones give a new characterization of $BMO({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ functions or $CMO({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ functions in essential ways.

GENERALIZED ANALYTIC FEYNMAN INTEGRAL VIA FUNCTION SPACE INTEGRAL OF BOUNDED CYLINDER FUNCTIONALS

  • In this paper, we use a generalized Brownian motion to define a generalized analytic Feynman integral. We then obtain some results for the generalized analytic Feynman integral of bounded cylinder functionals of the form F(x) = $\hat{v}$(($g_1,x)^{\sim}$,..., $(g_n,x)^{\sim}$) defined on a very general function space $C_{a,b}$[0,T]. We also present a change of scale formula for function space integrals of such cylinder functionals.

  • The main objective of this paper is to establish certain unified integral formula involving the product of the generalized Mittag-Leffler type function $E^{({\gamma}_j),(l_j)}_{({\rho}_j),{\lambda}}[z_1,{\ldots},z_r]$ and the Srivastava's polynomials $S^m_n[x]$. We also show how the main result here is general by demonstrating some interesting special cases.
