A 3-GSymbol/s/lane transceiver, which supports the mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) C-physical layer (PHY) specification version 1.1, is proposed. It performs channel mismatch correction to improve the signal integrity that is deteriorated by using three-level signals over three channels. The proposed channel mismatch correction is performed by detecting channel mismatches in the receiver and adjusting the delay times of the transmission data in the transmitter according to the detection result. The channel mismatch detection in the receiver is performed by comparing the phases of the received signals with respect to the pre-determined data pattern transmitted from the transmitter. The proposed MIPI C-PHY receiver is designed using a 65 nm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process with 1.2 V supply voltage. The area and power consumption of each transceiver lane are 0.136 ㎟ and 17.4 mW/GSymbol/s, respectively. The proposed channel mismatch correction reduces the time jitter of 88.6 ps caused by the channel mismatch to 34.9 ps.
In this paper, we firstly suggested C&D (Common mode and Differential mode) model for the representation of a stereophonic signal. Then a measure of stereophonic channel separability is defined as the ratio of differential mode energy to total energy in frequency domain. After that, a new channel separability enhancement scheme is proposed by the control of common mode rejection. Finally, some experimental results are presented in order to verify our scheme.

The paper is to evaluate for reliability of LED Channel Modules by ALTs(Accelerated Life Tests). The recently, some of KS were established by law of LED Lamps for Lighting(KS C 7651, KS C 7652 and KS C 7653), but reliability assessment methods of LED Channel Modules were not established. Therefore, the paper aided companies to test methods for accelerated life testing by themselves.
We propose a new bandpass filter (BPF)-based online channel normalization method to dynamically suppress channel distortion when the speech and channel noise components are unknown. In this method, an adaptive modulation frequency filter is used to perform channel normalization, whereas conventional modulation filtering methods apply the same filter form to each utterance. In this paper, we only normalize the two mel frequency cepstral coefficients (C0 and C1) with large dynamic ranges; the computational complexity is thus decreased, and channel normalization accuracy is improved. Additionally, to update the filter weights dynamically, we normalize the learning rates using the dimensional power of each frame. Our speech recognition experiments using the proposed BPF-based blind channel normalization method show that this approach effectively removes channel distortion and results in only a minor decline in accuracy when online channel normalization processing is used instead of batch processing

The channel region of seep-sub-micrometer MOSFET is non-uniformly doped with pocket implant. Therefore, the advanced threshold voltage model is needed to account for the Short-Channel Effect and Reverse-Short-Channel Effect due to the non-uniform doping concentration in the channel region. In this paper, A scalable analytical model for the MOSFET threshold voltage is developed. The developed model is verified with MEDICI and TSUPREM simulator.

For MOSFET devices with nanometer range gate length, accurate extraction of effective gate length is highly important because transistor characteristics become very sensitive to effective channel length. In this paper, we propose a new approach to extract the effective channel length of nanometer range MOSFET by Capacitance Voltage(C-V) method. The effective channel length is extracted using gate to source/drain capacitance( $C_{gsd}$). It is shown that 1/$\beta$ method, Terada method and other C-V method are inadequate to extract the accurate effective channel length. Therefore, the proposed method is highly effective for extraction of effective channel length of 100nm CMOSFETs.s.

Silicon carbide (SiC), one of the well known wide band gap semiconductors, shows high thermal conductivities, chemical inertness and breakdown energies. The design of normally-off 4H-SiC VJFETs [1] has been reported and 4H-SiC VJFETs with different lateral JFET channel opening dimensions have been studied [2]. In this work, 4H-SiC based VJFETs has been designed using the device simulator (ATLAS, Silvaco Data System, Inc). We varied the n-epi layer thickness (from $6\;{\mu}m$ to $10\;{\mu}m$) and the channel width (from $0.9\;{\mu}m$ to $1.2\;{\mu}m$), and investigated the static characteristics as blocking voltages, threshold voltages, on-resistances. We have shown that silicon carbide JFET structures of highly intensified blocking voltages with optimized figures of merit can thus be achieved by adjusting the epi layer thickness and channel width.

In multi-hop wireless network, multi-channel makes it possible to enhance network performance because it reduces channel interferences md contentions. Recently several schemes have been proposed in the literatures to use multi-channel. Especially, MCR(Multi channel routing protocol), which utilize hybrid interface assignment, is a prominent routing protocol. MCR uses simple way to change channel but efficiently reduce channel interferences. In this paper, we propose a load-aware channel selection algorithm called LCS that enhances the channel switching algerian used in MCR protocol. In LCS, channel of a node is assigned based on collected information about queue length of neighbors. Moreover this paper evaluates the performance of in by using simulation test and testbed demonstration. Test results show that the MCR with LCS outperforms the naive MCR.

In this paper, we studied channel assignment and handover schemes for the indoor microcell systems. For efficient frequency spectrum reuse we proposed the high quality reassignment (HQR) scheme. Proposed HQR scheme tries to keep the reuse distances small by monitoring C/I of channels being used. To assign a channel for a new or handove call, the scheme checks C/I of all available channels. Then HQR assigns the channel that has C/I near the threshold value, A_TH. The scheme also checks C/I of ongoing calls and continuously reassigns a new channel when needed. It attempts handover not only when C/I gets below a handover threshold value, HO_TH, but also when C/I becomes above a high quality reassignment threshold, H_TH. The performance of the proposed HQR scheme was analyzed by a computer simulation configuraed. The performance of the scheme was also analyzed for various threshold values selected and the results are presented in this paper. The results show that HQR scheme perfomrs better than the scheme adopted for DECT.

In this paper, we study the competition between two kinds of suppliers, a bricks and mortars(B&M) and a clicks and mortars(C&M). Using the circular spatial market model, we derive and analyze the Nash and Stackelberg equilibria as a function of offline market share and efficiency of online channel of the C&M supplier. The result can be summarized as follows: (1) Stackelberg equilibrium is always superior to the Nash equilibrium, (2) Under certain conditions, the price of online channel can be higher than that of offline channel, (3) It is impossible for the C&M supplier to encroach on all of the B&M supplier's market, (4) In some cases, the C&M supplier has incentive to lower the efficiency of its online channel for more profit.
