This paper suggests a procedure to define business process improvement (BPI) projects with analysis results based on the cause-and-effect chain. The procedure developed in this paper focuses on eliminating root causes of business problems resulted from abnormal events occurred in business process executions. First, we develop three criteria used to make clusters of the root causes where a cluster of root causes will be eliminated together by a BPI project defined based on the cluster. Second, we develop a method to formulate desired expectations from the BPI project. Also, we suggest a method to calculate the relative importance of the BPI projects that help a BPI organization determine priorities of them. We illustrate the procedure and the methods with some examples for the domestic mail delivery process in the postal service industry.

최근 들어 건설사업관리에서 설계관리에 대한 중요성이 증대되면서 협업업체간의 협업설계관리에 대한 필요성이 중요시 되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 첫째, 건축 설계업무 능력 향상을 위하여 설계관리 업무에 관련된 설계 프로세스의 흐름에 대한 파악, 관리요소 도출하는 것에 목적을 두었으며, 둘째, 현업에서의 협업설계에 대한 문제점 파악 및 설계 프로세스 관리요소를 바탕으로, 공기의 최소화, 각 회사 간의 협업부족에 따른 도서간의 불일치, 설계 변경 시 설계정보 추적 어려움등의 개선을 통하여 설계 최적화를 목적으로 한 협업 설계 관리의 대안을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 논문은 협업설계에 관한 체계적인 활용을 통해서 협업 설계관리를 통한 건설 프로젝트의 기대효과를 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is that analyzing the causal relationship between Infra, Process and Performance of companies which are executing the Supply Chain Quality Management(SCQM) with their subcontractors and partners. Korean Standards Association(KSA) provides the Supply Chain Quality Management Model and Quality Collaboration Index for 4 years, but a few study has investigated the critical variables and their causal relationship to organizational performance. Therefore we examine the SCQM model and related index and choose the quality, human resource and risk management processes for identifying the path to organizational performance. In addition, exploratory factor analysis is conducted for figuring out the major factors among the 3 processes. Structural Equation Model are successively used for determining which characteristics of the infra and processes are the most critical variables to performance. The data was collected from KSA and composed of 52 companies and 346 their partners. The result shows that risk management process has no significant effect on the organizational performance and pre-production process collaboration.

Business process reengineering(BPR) aims at a radical redesign of our business processes in order to achieve dramatic improvements in their performance. However, the fact that many BPR projects have failed hesitates the companies who have started to use BPR or who are planning to do so. Implementing a radical plan from a cross-functional perspective needs a more careful consideration of process vision, preventive measures and contigency plan. Our research suggests to use a visual decision making process (VDMP) in the development of a process vision and implementation plan. A BPR project of Carlaon School of Mnagement (CSOM) at the University of Minnesota is illustrated to show our suggested methodology.

기업이 비즈니스 프로세스의 중요성을 인식하게 되면서 비즈니스 프로세스 관리시스템에 대한 관심이 높아졌다. 그러나 전통적으로 BPMS는 업무프로세스의 모형화 및 실행에 그 초점이 맞추어져 있어, 상대적으로 프로세스 관리의 궁극적인 목적인 프로세스 효율성 제고나 더 나아가 프로세스를 혁신하는 데에는 큰 기여를 하지 못하였다. BPMS는 일반적으로 방대한 량의 이력 데이터를 남기게 되는데, 이에는 프로세스의 실행과 관련된 다양한 의미있는 정보나 규칙들이 숨어있다. 본 연구는 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 프로세스 이력 데이터를 분석하는 체계적인 방법론을 제시한다. 제시된 방법론은 프로세스 분석을 위한 데이터 모형, 분석절차, 그리고 시스템 프레임워크를 포함한다. 또한 그 유용성을 검증하기 위하여, 시뮬레이션 데이터를 이용한 실험결과를 제시한다.

TDR(Tear Down & Redesign)means that renounce the past resolutely, from a white paper condition, let's change directions. That is, let's redesign from the basic of the establishment of the construction process. Through the switchover the conception, innovate totally the whole existing processes. TDR is the best core innovation activity. The ultimate aim of the TDR activity induces the employees to do more productive business and obtain excellent results in the future by solving the problems, which are the nonproductive business in the business process on the objective view, the business that customers don't recognize the value, the same old practice of business, and the unsettled business from the restriction of resources. By organizing the related to workers of those business, they can solve the problems for 3-4months by full time working This paper inquires what are the obstruction factors on the process of executing TDR activity. Through the search of the reformation plan for the improvement of immersion degree, it presents some methods to be successful business.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the concept of the Business Art and the validity of the Business Art making process model, as well as to confirm the creative value of art in the business environment. The research data were collected using in-depth interviews and the collected data were analyzed by applying the grounded theory. As a result of the study, various experts in the fields of business and arts evaluated the concept of the Business Art and contents of the Business Art process model as generally valid, considering that they were actually applicable in light of their own experiences. This study establishes a new theory by verifying the transferability of academic research on the new concept of the Business Art, and presents a new viewpoint different from the existing one in the relationship between business and art. Also, the implication of this study lies in that it provided the basis for establishing the method and system that apply the concept of the Business Art and its process to business in the future.

업무프로세스관리(BPM) 시스템은 업무프로세스의 효율적인 실행, 통제 및 관리를 지원하는 소프트웨어 시스템으로서, 복잡한 프로세스를 자동화하고, 이를 효과적으로 관리하여 기업의 생산성 향상에 기여한다. 그러나, 상용시스템은 주로 프로세스의 자동화에 초점을 두고 있어 프로세스와 업무참여자 관점에서 효율적인 관리 방법을 제공하지 못하고 있다. 따라서, BPM 시스템은 프로세스 참여자와 전체 프로세스 효율성 향상의 관점에서 개선의 여지가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 업무프로세스를 보다 효율적으로 관리하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 업무참여자의 업무부하를 고려하여 전체 프로세스를 실행하는 방식으로서, 프로세스 참여자원 가운데 가장 큰 제약요소를 집중관리한다. 이러한 방식은 경영혁신이론으로 알려진 제약이론(Theory of Constraints)의 DBR (Drum-Buffer-Rope) 방법론을 기반으로 하고 있다. DBR 방법론을 활용하기 위해 우선, 업무프로세스와 DBR의 주적용모델의 차이점을 분석하고 업무프로세스에 적합한 드럼, 버퍼, 로프를 개발한다. 이를 토대로, 업무참여자의 업무부하와 프로세스 인스턴스 발생 패턴을 통제하는 BPM만의 DBR 방법론(BP-DBR, Business Process-DBR)을 제안한다. BP-DBR은 업무참여자의 업무환경과 전체프로세스의 효율성 개선에 기여할 것으로 기대한다. 이러한 기대효과를 증명하기 위해 기존 BPM의 프로세스 관리방법과 제안한 방법의 효과를 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 비교한다.

오늘날 경영환경은 기술혁신 등으로 인해 경쟁 압력이 커져 가는 불확실성의 환경하에 놓여 있다. 회사 내부에 수많은 정보들이 다양한 채널로 통해 입수되고 변경되기 때문에 정보를 체계적으로 관리하기 어렵고, 정보의 유지보수 관리에 어려움이 많다. 이와 같이 급변하는 기업환경에 신속히 대응하기 위하여 기업의 업무는 비즈니스 프로세스 중심으로, 기업의 정보시스템은 BPMS(Business Process Management System) 중심으로 구축되어가고 있다. 그러나 현재까지의 BPMS 솔루션들은 대부분 대기업 위주여서 중소기업의 경우에는 이러한 BPMS를 도입하기가 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 비즈니스 프로세스를 모델링하고 실행, 통제, 분석 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하여 웹으로 서비스할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발된 시스템은 해당 업무를 자동으로 알려주고 업무별 흐름에 따른 양식과 설명서를 제공한다. 중소기업의 BPM 툴로서 사용할 수 있게 경량화하여 구현하였다.

기업이 경영활동이 세계화되고 글로벌 경영기업으로 탈바꿈하면서 이를 둘러싼 경영적 요소 및 환경도 급변하게 되어 기업이 처한 위험의 유형이나 빈도가 더욱 증가하게 되었다. 특히, 근래에 들어 IT와 산업이 융합되면서 산업의 비즈니스 프로세스에 중추적인 역할을 하고 있다. 그러나, 인터넷 환경하의 정보시스템은 기업 경영의 효율성을 증가시키는 반면 이에 따른 위험의 발생 정도와 그 파급 효과를 더욱 증가시키고 있다. 위험을 인식하고 이를 분석하고 평가하여 관리하는 능력이 뛰어난 기업은 위험에 따른 피해의 확산을 조기에 차단하고 오히려 이를 기회로 이용할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 정보시스템을 기반으로 하는 자동차 제조 산업을 대상으로 비즈니스 연속성 확보를 위한 위험관리체계에 대한 연구를 하였다. 세부적으로 자동차 제조 산업의 비즈니스를 분석하여 정보자산을 식별하고 자산의 위험을 분석하여 평가하였다. 그리고 평가 요소에 따른 위험관리 대책을 수립하고 이에 따른 비즈니스 관점의 위험관리체계에 대한 프레임워크를 연구하였다.
