Development of Automatic Inspection System for ALC Block Using Distortion Correction Technique (왜곡 보정 기법을 이용한 ALC 블럭의 자동 검사 시스템 개발)

  • The lens distortion in the machine vision system is inevitable phenomenon. Distortion is getting worse, due to the selection of lens in the trend of reducing prices and size of the system. In this trend, the distortion correction becomes more important. But, the traditional correction methods has problems, such as complexity and requiring more operations. Effective distorted digital image correction is the precondition of target detection and recognition based on vision inspection. To overcome the disadvantage of traditional distortion correction algorithms, such as complex modeling, massive computation and marginal information loss, an image distortion correction algorithm based on photogrammetry method is proposed in this paper. In our method, we use the lattice image as the measurement target. Through the experimental results, we could find that we can reduce the processing time by 4ms. And also the inspection failure rate of our method was reduced by 2.3% than human-eyes inspection method.

Design of a CMOS IF PLL Frequency Synthesizer (CMOS IF PLL 주파수합성기 설계)

  • This paper describes a CMOS IF PLL frequency synthesizer. The designed frequency synthesizer can be programmed to operate at various intermediate frequencies using different external LC-tanks. The VCO with automatic amplitude control provides constant output power independent of the Q-factor of the external LC-tank. The designed frequency divider includes an 8/9 or 16/17 dual-modulus prescaler and can be programmed to operate at different frequencies by external serial data for various applications. The designed circuit is fabricated using a 0.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ n-well CMOS process. Measurement results show that the phase noise is 114dBc/Hz@100kHz and the lock time is less than 300$mutextrm{s}$. It consumes 16mW from 3V supply. The die area is 730${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$$\times$950${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.

  • In this paper, we propose an automatic displacement system for testing stability of structure. Photogrammetry is a method which can measure accurate 3D data from 2D images taken from different locations and which is suitable for analyzing and measuring the displacement of structure. This paper consists of camera calibration, feature extraction using coded target & retro-reflective circle, 3D reconstruction and analyzing accuracy. Multi-view camera which is used for measuring displacement of structure is placed with different location respectively. Camera calibration calculates trifocal tensor from corresponding points in images, from which Euclidean camera is calculated. Especially, in a step of feature extraction, we utilize sub-pixel method and pattern recognition in order to measure the accurate 3D locations.   • There are various high-performance algorithms in the area of the existing VDSs (vehicle detection systems). However, they requires a large amount of computational time-complexity and their systems generally are very expensive and consumes high-power. This paper proposes real-time traffic information detection algorithm that can be applied to low-cost, low-power, and open development platform such as Android. This algorithm uses a vehicle's sub-shadow to set ROI(region of interest) and to count vehicles using a location of the sub-shadow and the vehicle. The proposed algorithm is able to count the vehicles per each roads and each directions separately. The experiment result show that the detection rate for going-up vehicles is 94.1% and that for going-down vehicles is 97.1%. These results are close to or surpasses 95%, the detection rate of commercial loop detectors.

Evaluating pollution origins of runoff in urban area by stormwater (강우시 도시지역 강우 유출수 오염부하 기원평가)

  • In this study, we conducted water-quality analysis of wastewater and in-situ flow measurement using automatic flow rate measuring instrument to identify characteristics of wastewater in urban areas, and collected samples in gutter fur storm water drain, rainfall bucket, and aqueduct of pipe from roof, and outfalls of basins to examine the contribution by pollution origins such as base wastewater, atmospheric washing, runoff by roof surface, runoff by road surface, erosion of sewer sediment. In the result, the concentration of pollutants reached peak in the beginning of rainfall due to first flush, was 3 to 10 times higher than average concentration of dry period, and was lower than that of dry period due to dilution of storm water. In the analysis of the contribution by pollution origins, the ratio of load by sewer sediment resuspension to the total pollution load was 54.6% fer COD, and 73.3% fur SS. Accordingly, we can reduce the total pollutant load by periodical dredging and washing of sewer sediment, and control the loadings by overflow of combined sewer overflows.

  • Bimodal tram is designed to run on a dedicated path in automatic mode using a magnetic track system in order to realize a combination of the accessibility of a bus and the constant regularity of a railroad. This paper presents design and test results of the series hybrid propulsion system of the bimodal tram on both test track and public road, which uses CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) engine and Lithium polymer battery pack. This paper describes the real-time data measuring equipment for the series hybrid propulsion system of the bimodal tram. Using this measurement equipment, the performance of the prototype vehicle's driving on test track and public road was verified and the fuel consumption and the efficiency of CNG engine have been investigated.

  • As a part of scientific data visualization automatic generation algorithms for a contour map have been investigated mainly on data which are defined at every lattice point. But in actual situation like weather data measurement. it is impossible to get data defined at every lattice point This is because the exact value on every lattice point can not be obtained due to characteristics in sampling devices or sampling methods. In order to define data on every lattice point where data were not sampled an interpolation method. was applied to the sample data to assign approximate values for some lattice type data but by using the non-lattice type of sample data sets. A triangle data link was defined by using non lattice points directly based on actually sample data set, not by using the pre-processed rectangle lattice points. The suggested algorithm generates a contour map a contour map only by using sample data set which are much smaller than old one without data interpolation and there is no skew on data any more since it does not need any interpolation to get the values of the defined lattice points.

  • As game and character animation industries are growing, techniques for reproducing realistic character behaviors have been required in various fields. Therefore, intensive researches have been performed in order to find various methods for realistic character animation. The most common approaches to character animation involves tedious user input method, simulation with physical laws based on dynamics, and measurement of actors' behaviors with input devices such as motion capture system. These approaches have their own advantages, but they all have common disadvantage in character control. In order to provide users with convenient control, the realistic animation must be generated with high-level parameters, and the modification should also be made with high-level parameters. In this paper we propose techniques for developing an automated character animation tool which operates with high-level parameters, and introduce techniques for developing actual games by utilizing this tool.

  • 최근 사물인터넷 등의 IT기술의 발전과 함께 수리 계측 분야에서도 자동 유속 및 유량 측정장비들에 대한 연구와 적용이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 하지만 최근 개발된 자동 유속 측정 장비들은 설치가 어려울 뿐만 아니라 비용이 많이 들기 때문에 쉽게 적용하기가 어려워 극히 소수의 지점에서만 운영 중에 있으며 전국 2만2,823개소에 달하는 소하천에 적용하기에는 무리가 있다. 이와 같은 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 보다 간편하고 경제적인 유속 측정 방법으로 주목을 받고 있는 방법이 표면영상유속계이다. 표면영상유속계는 일반 동영상 촬영 장비와 분석 소프트웨어만 있으면 유속을 측정할 수 있기 때문에 매우 경제적이고, 비접촉식으로 유속을 측정하기 때문에 흐름에 방해를 주지 않을뿐만 아니라 홍수 시 유속 측정의 위험성을 최소화 할 수 있다는 장점이 있어, 유량과 수위가 급격하게 변하는 국내 소하천의 유량측정에 적절하게 대응할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 표면영상유속계를 실시간 자동유량계측이 가능하도록 시스템화 하여 개선하였다. CCTV 기반의 실시간 소하천 자동유량계측 시스템의 구성은 CCTV, 초음파수위계, 현장제어함체 및 조명으로 구성되어 있고, 현장제어함체에는 CCTV 영상분석 S/W가 설치되어 있으며, 실시간으로 산정한 유속자료와 초음파수위계로 측정한 수위자료를 이용하여 유량을 자동으로 산정하도록 개발하였다. 또한 울주군에 위치한 중선필천에 설치하여 적용성 여부 및 현장검증을 실시하였으며, 2018년 홍수사상에 대한 유량계측을 실시한 결과 표면영상만으로 소하천의 유속을 매우 짧은 시간에 계측할 수 있어 소하천의 급격한 유량 변화를 매우 안정적으로 계측하여 온전한 홍수 사상을 확보 할 수 있었다. 또한, 현장 계측 인력 없이도 CCTV 영상으로 현장상황을 파악할 수 있어 홍수대응 지원도 가능한 장점이 있음을 확인하였다.

The Study of Sasangin's Face by the Items of Impression (첫인상과 사상인(四象人)의 안면(顔面)에 관한 연구)

  • 1. Objective Recently we have known 'First Impression' is the major factor to check the review point for the classification of sasangin. And we want to find out the objected data contribute to dignosis of female sasang constitution using Sasangins Face. 2. Methods We analysed the datum collected by multi-center researchers in 2007-2008. And this study analysed the datum of the measurement of the face by 3D-AFRA (3-Dimensional Automatic Face Recognition Apparatus) and the items of impression by SDQ. We used chi-square test to define the relationship between the item and sasang constitutions. We used independent samples t - test with classifying measuring variables of the face. 3. Results and Conclusion We put out specific female sasangin's constitutional measuring variables of face. The measuring variables of count is Taeyangin 30point, Soyangin 15point, Taeumin 32point, Soeumin 21point. There is the need to accumulate more accurate pictures about sasangin's external shape.
