  • The purpose of this study is to examine the antecedents of employee's organizational change commitment during organizational change. We propose that leader-member exchange (LMX) and trust in the organization could foster employee's commitment to change. A theoretical model linking the role of leader-member exchange and trust in the organization to affective commitment and normative commitment to organizational change through leadership have tested in a study of 303 respondents from 15 organizations reporting that their organizations were undergoing significant change due to the turmoil environment and M&A. We develop the hypotheses from the prior studies and empirically test them in the context of personnels who have survived from the drastic organizational changes. Based on the analyzed results, we discussed the theoretical implications and limitations.

This study considers relationship satisfaction, trust, and relationship commitment as the factors of relationship quality. Moreover, technical service quality and relational service quality were considered to be the antecedents of relationship satisfaction, while communication and information exchange, relationship policies and practices, and opportunistic behavior were regarded as the antecedents of trust. The PLS method was applied for the empirical analysis of 107 companies data. The results indicated that the relationship commitment has a significant impact on relationship strength. Moreover, relationship satisfaction and trust had indirectly impact on relationship strength through relationship commitment. • The purposes of this study are following. First, we want to review the relationship between trust and precedent variables including shared value, communication and opportunistic behavior in the on-line and off-line channel. Second, building the relationship among variables from previous research, we develop the research model. Third, based on the empirical analysis, we want to build the relationship among variables. Fourth, based on results of analysis, we want to elicit implications for marketing management from the trust in on-line channel in order to enhance the relationship commitment and customer loyalty. Theoretical implications of this study are following. First, under the multiple channel retailing environment, trust in on-line channel is influenced by the trust in off-line channel that the company is operating. Previous researches couldn't found this result because these researches divided on-line and off-line channel separatedly, Second, under the multiple channel retailing environment, on-line or off-line relational attributes including shared value, opportunistic behavior and communication have a effect on trust or relationship commitment So, shared value, opportunistic behavior and communication are very important variables having a effect on trust and relationship commitment in not only off-line channel but also on-line channel. Third, trust and relationship commitment were important mediate variables in multiple channel environment. This result goes with previous researches in single channel.

  • Recently, collaborations through MCS use in team projects are frequently conducted. This study developed a research model to examine the impact of collaboration through MCS on project performance. Team commitment and team trust regarded as the key drivers of enhancing project performance. Moreover, we also investigated the effect of usefulness of MCS on project performance. We posit ubiquity, polychronic use, and ease of use as the key antecedents of usefulness of MCS. The proposed theoretical framework was tested by using survey data collected from 116 university students who have rich experience with collaboration through MCS. PLS was employed for the analysis of the data. The analysis results showed that team trust significantly influences team commitment and project performance, respectively. However, usefulness of MCS is not significantly related to team commitment, while it play a prominent role in enhancing project performance. The results reveals that ease of use has a significant effect on usefulness of MCS, whereas ubiquity and polychronic use are not significantly related to it. From theoretical and practical perspective, this paper can provide in-depth knowledge of the effects of collaboration via MCS on project performance.

  • As the interest in the business-to-business(B2B) electronic commerce is increasing, many companies are participating in the B2B e-Marketplaces. The e-Marketplace is defined as the virtual market that many players take part in to transact. The e-Marketplace has an influenced on the manner in which organizational buyers and sellers interact. As a result, it is important to develop an understanding of the behaviors of firms that use these electronic marketplaces. The purpose of this study is to develop a comprehensive model for trust and commitment of B2B e-Marketplace and empirically to examine their structural relationships. Drawing from trust and commitment theory in the interorganizational relationship and B2B electronic commerce context, this study identifies network externality, interactivity, justice, quality of information sharing, institutional assurance as the determinants of trust and commitment of e-Marketplace. The proposed model hypothesized that (1) trust is a function of network externality, interactivity, justice, quality of information sharing, institutional assurance, (2) attitudinal and behavioral commitment is a function of trust, (3) behavioral commitment is a function of attitudinal commitment. The proposed model is tested using organizational-level survey data from 187 buying organizations that conduct business in MRO e-Marketplaces. The data were tested by reliability test, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and covariance structure analysis. The results indicate that (1) trust is influenced by network externality, interactivity, justice, institutional assurance, (2) attitudinal commitment and behavioral commitment is influenced by trust (3) behavioral commitment is influenced by attitudinal commitment. Also, the empirical results confirmed that trust play a strong, central role in determinging e-Marketplace commitment. The key theoretical contribution of this research is that it begins to extend interorganizational information system literature in areas such as B2B Internet e-Marketplace. Managerially, this study contributes tn the understanding of the role of B2B e-Markeplace providers in Internet situation. And Limitations of this study and guidelines for future researches are also discussed.
