GEOMETRIC AND ANALYTIC INTERPRETATION OF ORTHOSCHEME AND LAMBERT CUBE IN EXTENDED HYPERBOLIC SPACE

  • We give a geometric proof of the analyticity of the volume of a tetrahedron in extended hyperbolic space, when vertices of the tetrahedron move continuously from inside to outside of a hyperbolic space keeping every face of the tetrahedron intersecting the hyperbolic space. Then we find a geometric and analytic interpretation of a truncated orthoscheme and Lambert cube in the hyperbolic space from the viewpoint of a tetrahedron in the extended hyperbolic space.

  • This paper is concerned with a second-order iterated differential equation of the form $c_0x'(Z)+c_1x'(z)+c_2x(z)=x(az+bx(z))+h(z)$ with the distinctive feature that the argument of the unknown function depends on the state. By constructing a convergent power series solution of an auxiliary equation, analytic solutions of the original equation are obtained.

  • The object of the present paper is to discuss some interesting properties of analytic functions f(z) associated with the subclasses $\mathcal{D}({\beta}_1,{\beta}_2,{\beta}_3;{\lambda})$, $\mathcal{G}({\theta},{\alpha})$ and $\mathcal{Q}({\theta},{\alpha})$. Also, radius problems of $\frac{1}{\delta}f({\delta}z)$ for f(z) in the class $\mathcal{D}({\beta}_1,{\beta}_2,{\beta}_3;{\lambda})$, $\mathcal{G}({\theta},{\alpha})$ and $\mathcal{Q}({\theta},{\alpha})$ are considered.

  • In the present paper, a new analytic function valued integral operator is introduced which is defined on n-copies of a subset of the class of normalized analytic functions on the unit disc of the complex plane. This operator, which is denoted here by $\mathfrak{J}^{{\alpha}_i,{\beta}_i}(f_1,{\ldots},f_n)$, unifies and generalizes several integral operators studied earlier. Interesting sufficient conditions are derived for the univalent starlikeness of $\mathfrak{J}^{{\alpha}_i,{\beta}_i}(f_1,{\ldots},f_n)$.

  • We derive sharp upper bound on the initial coefficients and Hankel determinants for normalized analytic functions belonging to a class, introduced by Silverman, defined in terms of ratio of analytic representations of convex and starlike functions. A conjecture related to the coefficients for functions in this class is posed and verified for the first five coefficients.

  • This paper presents an adaptive control against uncertainties in tail-controlled STT (skid-to-Turn) missiles. First, we derive an analytic uncertainty model from a parametricaffine missile model developed by the authors. Based on this analytic model, an adaptive feedbacklinearizing control law accompanied by a sliding model control law is proposed. We provide analyses of stability and output tracking performance of the overall adaptive missile system. The performance and validity of the proposed adaptive control scheme is demonstrated by simulation.

On Certain Class of Multivalent Functions Involving the Cho-Kwon-Srivastava Operator

  • In this paper a new subclass of multivalent functions with negative coefficients defined by Cho-Kwon-Srivastava operator is introduced. Coefficient estimate and inclusion relationships involving the neighborhoods of p-valently analytic functions are investigated for this class. Further subordination result and results on partial sums for this class are also found.

  • Outage cost inclusion in operational simulation is very important subject in generation planning. Conventional discretized one in probabilistic simulation has unavoidably insufficient modeling and costly computation time. Now that the analytic operational simulation is possible, the outage cost inclusion is desired. With this inclusion the objective function of operational simulation becomes convex, so that analytic manipulation is easier. The derivation of outage cost is made in this paper, and the effects is evaluated. Further marginal cost is mentioned.

  • In this work, we obtain intersection theorem, analytic alternative and von Neumann type minimax theorem in G-convex spaces. We also generalize Ky Fan minimax inequality to acyclic versions in G-convex spaces. The result is applied to formulate acyclic versions of other minimax results, a theorem of systems of inequalities and analytic alternative.
