  • This article is about a new law of railroad industry has come into effect in 2004 and that left the railroad company operated under the private system. Accordingly, it has to encounter a variety of managers on the railroad safety part too. Incheon Airport Railroad that was, from Incheon International Airport to Kimpo Airport, opened to traffic on the 23th March, 2007 as the first private railroad company in Korea. This railroad company is working hard to be a safe and convenient airport railroad. There is not operated an effective emergency response that the railroad company and the emergency response personnel without standard operation procedure, recently. The original emergency manual and the emergency procedure of the synthesized railroad safety development business. I am proposing to establish the emergency response scenario according to the different situations that the train operator.

공항 지속가능 프레임워크 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of the Framework for Airport Sustainability)

  • International organization and airport operator have issued a guidance manual with regard to the sustainability specialized in airport by adopting environment friendly rating system and developing a variety of sustainable practices. The structure of framework is essential to the development of practical and effective sustainability guideline of airport. Evaluation criteria and method for airport sustainability properly designed is necessary for the assurance of the level of sustainability. In this study, evaluation criteria and method proper to airport after structuring of framework for airport sustainability will be suggested by reviewing a variety of reference documents issued from foreign and domestic organization.

  • In this study, we reviewed access transportation, operating companies, and airport infrastructure to revitalize Cheongju International Airport. Regarding access transportation infrastructure, it is necessary to promote a railway network connecting the metropolitan inland line and the central inland region. In addition, active administrative support from local governments is required to ensure smooth progress in railway and highway infrastructure linkage projects, such as the Osong Connecting Line and Chungbuk Line, high-speed rail network promotion, and expansion of the Chungbuk Eastern Axis Expressway and Central Expressway. Regarding operator access infrastructure, continuous efforts are required to add and attract airlines based at Cheongju International Airport. Regarding airport infrastructure, the Cheongju International Airport runway needs complete resurfacing due to its deterioration. Domestic passenger capacity has exceeded 6.5%, and considering the increase in import and export of high value-added goods in the North Chungcheong region, it is necessary to build and expand passenger terminals and cargo terminals. Cheongju International Airport's runway does not have enough runway length to operate large and ultra-large aircraft, so if it is extended from the existing 2,744m to 456m to 3,200m, several benefits can be expected in terms of revitalizing Cheongju Airport, such as route expansion.

공항 지속가능성 가이드라인 제시를 위한 연구 (A Study on Developing the guideline for Airport Sustainability)

  • The interest about sustainable development of airport operation field has been increased as the aviation industry has been gradually developed and the influence to the neighboring area of airport has been increased. International organization and airport operator have issued a guidance manual with regard to the sustainability specialized in airport by adopting environment friendly rating system and developing a variety of sustainable practices. In this study, the guideline of sustainability manual appropriate to the local airports will be suggested by reviewing a variety of reference documents issued from foreign airport operators.

  • 공항조직은 자존감을 획득하는 데 지속적으로 투자해야 한다. 이는 자존감이 보다 더 생산적이 될 것이기 때문이다. 본 논문의 목적은 항행시스템이 운영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 자존감의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 인천국제공항과 김포국제공항의 설문조사는 항행시스템 운영자 관점에서 공항의 운영성과를 설명할 수 있는 요인들을 더 잘 이해하기 위해 수행되었다. 이것은 항행정책, 유지보수, 증진활동 및 자존감의 증강된 활동 및 공항의 운영성과와 같은 구성요소를 포함한다. 본 연구의 발견은 자존감이 적극적으로 증진됨으로써 공항의 운영성과에 영향을 미친다는 것을 나타낸다. 또한 항행정책, 유지보수, 증진활동이 공항의 운영성과에 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 자존감이 주어진 공항조직에서 항행시스템 운영자의 자존감을 평가하는 강력한 측정도구의 기초가 될 수 있음을 제안한다.

공항운영조직의 안전관리시스템(SMS) 운영 효율성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Operation of Safety Management System for Airport Organization)

  • Continued efforts to build up Safety Management System(SMS) and to improve its efficiency in airports, to which customers have direct access, are taken for granted due to continuous development of the aviation industry in both quantity and quality and rapid growth of air transportation market. This thesis proposed efficient operation methods of SMS for domestic airport organizations including Incheon International Airport(IIA), the largest airport in South Korea, aiming at strengthening aviation safety from the perspective of airport operators who play a pivotal role in service provider SMS. Those are consolidation of the existing safety management organizations and various improvements to promote voluntary incident reporting system. To draw a proposal for the improvements, conducted a research on domestic safety management status, carried out an analysis on operating conditions and did a research on ICAO regulations, domestic legal system as well as statistics data. Relevant studies and researches were also gathered and analyzed. A search for further improvements can also help increase operational efficiency and promoting a higher-level of safety awareness among operators can establish mature safety culture at airports.

실시간 공항정보 제공에 대한 이용자 지속사용 의도에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the User's Continuous Use Intention to Provide Real-Time Airport Information)

  • Recently, the airport operator provides information such as real-time airport processing status, which allows users to determine the time to arrive at the airport at their own judgment. It is provided through their website and mobile Apps in order to resolve the customer's failure to board the aircraft and the inconvenience caused by waiting for the airport, etc. However, there was a lack of research cases on the intention of users to continue using such real-time airport information. Therefore, research on the field was studied by applying flow and trust theory based on human emotions. The research method verified reliability, validity, correlation between variables, and hypotheses using structural equations. As a result of the study, it was found that flow and trust had a significant effect on the intention to continue using. In other words, passengers were intended to continue to use the behavior they were searching for when they felt wise, enjoyable, and reliable etc.

  • 스마트공항은 ICT 신기술을 공항에 적용하여 공항 이용자인 여객 입장에서는 편리하고 안전한 서비스를 제공받고, 공항 운영자 입장에서는 공항 시스템의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 추진하는 미래 공항 서비스로써 적용 범위는 랜드 사이드, 터미널, 에어 사이드 등 공항의 전반적인 분야를 포함한다. 본 논문에서는 스마트공항 실현을 위한 다양한 범위 중에서 여객 편의성을 제공하는 터미널의 공항 프로세스에 대한 기술적 해결방안에 대해 제안한다. 공항 프로세스를 스마트화하기 위해서는 웹 또는 모바일 체크인, 셀프 체크인/태깅/백드롭/보딩 등 셀프 서비스가 강화되어야 하며, 자동출입국, 스마트 보안검색, AI기반 수화물 자동검색 등의 기술이 적용되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 공항과 스마트 프로세스에 대한 개념을 설명하고, 기술적 고려사항에 대해 제언하고자 한다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공항운영자들이 인식하고 있는 4차 산업혁명이 공항경영시스템에 미치는 영향과 이러한 영향 관계 간에서 융합과 리더십의 조절효과를 규명하는 것이다. 데이터는 대한민국에 있는 6개 국제공항에서 Simple random sampling으로 공항운영자를 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 수집하였다. 데이터 분석은 Structural equation modeling을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 4차 산업혁명이 공항경영시스템에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 것을 발견하였다. 또한 융합 및 리더십의 조절효과는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이 논문에서 우리는 공항경영시스템을 4차 산업혁명 시대에 부합하는 시스템으로 재구축해야 한다고 주장한다. 이 논문은 공항 연구자들에게 이론적 근거 자료와 실증연구의 방향을 제공하고 공항기업 경영자들과 공항정책 기획자들에게 시사점을 제공한다. 이 연구결과는 4차 산업혁명의 기술을 채택한 국제공항에 특히 유용하다.

  • The aviation industry is expected to grow faster and the role of it is expected to be bigger as time goes by. Airport operating company is a major part of the aviation industry. For an airport operating company to be successful, strong relationship with customers is essential. One of the methods to acquire the customer loyalty is establishing a brand. For KAC, 'Skycity' should be chosen as the main brand. And along with it, harmonious modeling of a of KAC and BI of Skycity should be devised. By doing this, KAC can gain customers' affection and loyalty.
