This study analyzed the perceptions of elementary and secondary school teachers regarding the importance of SW/AI education in fostering students' fundamental knowledge and the necessity of integrating SW/AI into education. A total of 830 elementary and secondary school teachers were selected as study subjects using the judgment sampling method. The analysis of survey data revealed that elementary and secondary teachers exhibited a strong awareness of the importance and necessity of SW/AI education, irrespective of school characteristics, region, educational experience, or prior involvement in SW and AI education. Nevertheless, the primary reasons for not implementing SW/AI education were identified as excessive workload and a lack of pedagogical expertise. An analysis of opinions on the essential conditions for implementing SW/AI education revealed that workload reduction, budget support, teacher training to enhance teacher competency, content distribution, expansion of subject-linked courses, and dedicated instructional time allocation were the major influencing factors. These findings indicate a significant demand for comprehensive instructional support and teacher capacity-building programs.
Although the mathematics education process in AI education is a very important issue, little cases are reported in developing effective methods on AI and mathematics education at the university level. The universities cover all fields of mathematics in their curriculums, but they lack in connecting and applying the math knowledge to AI in an efficient manner. Students are hardly interested in taking many math courses and it gets worse for the students in humanities, social sciences and arts. But university education is very slow in adapting to rapidly changing new technologies in the real world. AI is a technology that is changing the paradigm of the century, so every one should be familiar with this technology but it requires fundamental math knowledge. It is not fair for the students to study all math subjects and ride on the AI train. We recognize that three key elements, SW knowledge, mathematical knowledge, and domain knowledge, are required in applying AI technology to the real world problems. This study proposes a modular approach of studying mathematics knowledge while connecting the math to different domain problems using AI techniques. We also show a modular curriculum that is developed for using math for AI-driven autonomous driving.

Because of the rapid change in the educational paradigm in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Era, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Education is becoming increasingly important today. The 2022 Revised Curriculum focuses on AI Education that can cultivate the fundamental skills and competencies needed in the future society. The following are the directions presented in this study for improving computational thinking and mathematical thinking in AI Education in elementary and secondary schools. First, studying teaching principles that allow students to understand AI concepts and principles and develop their ability to solve real-life problems is necessary in terms of computational thinking skills education. Second, an educational program is required for students to acquire algorithms using formulas and learn principles in the process of computers thinking like humans as part of their mathematical thinking ability to understand AI. A study on expectations through the analysis of competent learning effects that may arise from the relationship between instructors and learners was proposed as a future research project.
The advancement of artificial intelligence on a global scale is significantly transforming life. In the field of education, there is a strong emphasis on actively utilizing AI and fostering creatively integrated talents with diverse knowledge. In alignment with this trend, there is a paradigm shift in AI education across primary, middle, high school, as well as university and graduate education. Leading AI schools and specialized high schools are dedicated to enhancing students' AI capabilities, while universities integrate AI into software courses or establish new AI departments to nurture talent. In AI-integrated education graduate programs, national efforts are underway to educate instructors from various disciplines on applying AI technology to the curriculum. In this context, specialized high schools are also restructuring their departments to cultivate technological talent in AI, tailored to students' characteristics and career paths. While the current education focuses primarily on the fundamental concepts and technologies of AI, there is a need to address the aspect of developing practical problem-solving skills. Therefore, this research aims to compare and analyze essential educational courses in AI-leading schools, AI-integrated high schools, AI high schools, university AI departments, and AI-integrated education graduate programs. The goal is to propose the necessary educational courses for AI education in specialized high schools, with the expectation that a more advanced curriculum in AI education can be established in specialized high schools through this effort.

As the importance of artificial intelligence(AI) education is emphasized recently, policies and researches are being promoted to develop the AI curriculum or courses for K-12 students in worldwide. In this study, researcher analysed a synthesis of contents and standards on AI education curriculum to present implications for AI education in the elementary and secondary schools. As a result, Korea and the United States are proposing national curriculum standards to provide the basis for AI curriculum establishment in school sites and to provide guidelines for various related policies such as teacher training programs. The EU's AI education is characterized by its curriculum and online courses to ensure that all citizens of the EU have AI literacy, rather than designating students or subjects at specific school levels. In terms of educational contents and levels, Korea, United States, and EU's curriculum or standards includes basics and applications related to machine learning and neural network based on the fundamental concepts and principles of artificial intelligence.
This study examines the content of vectors and matrices in Artificial Intelligence Mathematics textbooks (AIMTs) from the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. We analyzed the implementation of foundational mathematical concepts, specifically definitions and related sub-concepts of vectors and matrices, in these textbooks, given their importance for understanding AI. The findings reveal significant variations in the presentation of vector-related concepts, definitions, sub-concepts, and levels of contextual information and descriptions such as vector size, distance between vectors, and mathematical interpretation. While there are few discrepancies in the presentation of fundamental matrix concepts, differences emerge in the subtypes of matrices used and the matrix operations applied in image data processing across textbooks. There is also variation in how textbooks emphasize the interconnectedness of mathematics for explaining vector-related concepts versus the textbooks place more emphasis on AI-related knowledge than on mathematical concepts and principles. The implications for future curriculum development and textbook design are discussed, providing insights into improving AI mathematics education.

The introduction of Smart technologies such as Artificial Intelligence(AI) systems are have a powerful impact in a variety of industry fields. Some experts predict that smart technology will completely change people's daily life and work styles, causing technological innovation, productivity improvement, and discovery and emergence of new fields. On the one hand, this vision cannot ignore negative views and concerns. Despite many social debates about employment, such as job loss and rising unemployment, there have not been many studies based on employee experience that provide a fundamental solution to the conflict between AI and employment. Therefore, this study finds out the effects and related factors of AI concierge robots for hotel employees, focusing on the hotel industry, and how employees' perceptions of AI concierge robots affect user resistance and turnover intention. This study, conducted a questionnaire survey of 322 hotel employees who had experience working with AI concierge robots in China, and used SPSS and SmartPLS statistical analysis programs to draw conclusions. We found that hotel employees' perceptions of AI concierge robots were significantly related to user resistance and turnover intention, and this association was related to employee self-efficacy, perceived organizational support, quality of AI services and new tasks. In addition, it was found that the quality of AI concierge robots directly or indirectly had the greatest influence on user resistance and turnover intention. The findings of this study provide theoretical implications for academia and practical implications for industry practitioners.
