This leadership program is comprised of 16 materials based on seven factors of leadership for the gifted and talented. More than 46% of the gifted and talented have a positive response to leadership program, and some of these gifted and talented students (14.7%) reacted negatively. According to the result of the T-Test, a survey about leadership of gifted and talented, there are meaningful differences between before and after implementing this leadership program (p<.01). Especially, the leadership quality of the gifted and talented improved effectively in communication skills(p<.01), individualized considerations(p<.01), and interpersonal skills(p<.05). But there aren't statistical differences between the primary school students and the middle school students except leadership total score(p<.05) and communication skills(p<.01). Comprehensively, the primary school students scored slightly higher than did middle school students on the seven factors of leadership. So, we need an effective guide in planning a leadership program for middle school students.

For empirical analysis, data were collected from the sample of 260 employees of public institutions. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 to verify the hypothetical relationship. Results showed that emotional leadership was positively related to job engagement but not innovative behavior. Job engagement was positively related to innovative behavior. And further, job engagement is found as playing as a positively full mediator on the relationship between emotional leadership and innovative behavior. These results confirmed that the job engagement of the members formed by emotional leadership in public organizations, such as general companies, has a positive influence on innovative behavior. Finally, limitations were indicated and some possible directions for Innovative behavior and its relationship were suggested for future studies.

  • This study aimed to examine relationships between founders' entrepreneurial leadership, team learning behavior, team boundary spanning, and perceived performance in early-stage startups. The following results were recorded: (i) the indirect effects of entrepreneurial leadership on perceived performance via team learning behavior were statistically significant (β=.309, p<.05). (ii) relationships between team learning behavior and perceived performance were strengthened by team boundary spanning behavior (β=.259, p<.05). In this study, three practical implications are provided as follows: (i) startups need to seek team learning readiness and external learning stimulus to facilitate generative and transformative team learning; (ii) accelerators need to develop an entrepreneurial leadership program for founders; and (iii) startups need to explore external information by interacting with investors, R&D institutions, and other startups to strengthen the impact of team learning behavior on performance. Furthermore, two directions for future research are suggested as follows: (i) future researchers need to test causal relationships between entrepreneurial leadership and team learning behavior based on a newly designed time-series measurement plan; (ii) the actual effects of entrepreneurial leadership, team learning behavior and team boundary spanning on financial performance need to be tested two or three years later when the financial performance of early-stage startups usually becomes evident.

  • This study was performed to investigate the effects of creative teaching technique(CTT) on critical thinking disposition(CTD), problem solving process(PSP), and self-leadership(SL) in 5 majors of first to third grades in a college nursing department. CTT was developed to promote memory and practical ability. The study was conducted from August 1 to December 31 in 2017, and the survey was performed before and after applying the CTT. As a result, there was no difference in CTD, PSP, and SL in the first graders whom applied various teaching techniques to one subject. But CTD was 6.8point(p<0.001), PSP was 7.5~7.9point(p<0.001) and SL was 2.9~3.3point(p<0.001) improved in the second and third grades whom applied similar teaching techniques in two subjects. In order to improve the students' core competency, it is more effective for students to apply one or two methods repeatedly in several subjects than to apply various methods to one subject. Since the CTT was more effective in the group that selected the major depending on aptitude and interest, it is necessary to develop various teaching and learning strategies to enhance the interest in nursing major.
