The purpose of this study was to explore the direction of application and quality management plan of science curriculum of elementary and middle school according to the 2009 revised curriculum. In order to do this, nationwide survey was administered. The subject was 126 elementary school teachers and 88 middle school science teachers. It was founded that teachers had negative opinion on the introduction of the grade cluster system. They considered that it was appropriate to link the contents of Science subject with Practical Arts(Technology Home Economics) subject by similar topic. Science classes were implemented without changing the number of class hours in most schools. They recognized the necessity of differentiated instruction in science classes, but they seldom applied the differentiated instruction. And they suggested that the teaching-learning materials, evaluation materials and contents be provided to apply the STEAM. This study designates the following strategic supports for the effective implementation of 2009 revised science curriculum; 1) the science teachers training program to provide useful information for understanding and teaching the 2009 revised science curriculum, 2) the teachers' community in the school, 3) the development and provision of the feasible STEAM plans.

The purpose of this study is to examine the change in literary materials in secondary school Korean textbooks and literature textbooks as per the 2009 revised curriculum. Literary materials in secondary school Korean textbooks have increased student awareness of literary canons because these have been taught and learned through public education. Seodongyo, Gemangmega, and Gasiri in classical poetry and the tale of Heungbu, Pongsan Mask Dance, the Tale of Ch'unhyang and the tale of Honggildong(by Heo Gyun) in classical prose are published in secondary school Korean textbooks and literature textbooks as per the revised curriculum of 2009. A three-verse Korean ode and a classical novel are the most chosen genres in classical literature.

This article intends to analyse some features in Exclusion Clauses of the Institute Cargo Clauses 2009 and the results of analysis are following. First, the insufficiency of packing or preparation exclusion under the revised Clause 4.3 is now more limited than before and the Clause suggest the test of sufficiency or suitability "to withstand the ordinary incidents of the insured transit". Secondly, the word "proximately" was deleted under the revised Clause 4.5 for the insurer to be identified more easily as a cause, but it remains to be seen whether that re-drafting will be successful. Thirdly, The exclusion under the revised Clause 4.6 does not apply unless the insurer can prove that, at the time the subject-matter insured is loaded on board the vessel, the assured was aware, or in the ordinary course of business should have been aware, that the relevant insolvency or financial default could prvent the normal prosecution of the voyage, and to a person who purchase the goods from the assured in good faith under a binding contract. Fourthly, the exclusion in respect of unseaworthiness of vessel under Clause 5.1.1 applies only where the assured is privy to the unseaworthiness, whereas the exclusion in respect of unfitness of container or conveyance under Clause 5.1.2 includes the privity of the employee. Finally, Clause 7 establishes the definition of terrorism, and adds ideological and religious motive to political motive.

In December of 2009, General Curriculum Revised in 2009 was announced and research on corresponding mathematics curriculum revision has been initiated from that period. Finally, in August 2011, Mathematics Curriculum Revised in 2009 was announced. In this new curriculum, Creativity is emphasized as the ability pursued in General Curriculum Revised in 2009. Accordingly, for the purpose of fostering students with creative and challenging minds, teaching and learning methods including the objectives and content should be more carefully implemented in math class. In case of the area of Probability and Statistics closely related to real life situations, it is suggested that school curriculum in mathematics would not deal with only mathematical problems on algorithm, but rather present teaching and learning materials related to the real life in order to recognize the usefulness of the content of Probability and Statistics and to learn how to think about it. In this paper, effective guidelines for teaching and learning the content of Probability and Statistics and its activities that follows the direction on Mathematics Curriculum Revised in 2009' are suggested based on the analysis of the PISA and TIMSS international assessments items. Thus, the guidelines suggested in this study would be used efficiently and appropriately for developing instructional materials or planning curriculum revision and setting its direction in the future.

The purpose of this study was to analyze elementary school teachers' implementation for the emphasis on the revision, major contents, teaching and learning method, and evaluation in the 2009 revised national science curriculum. To fulfill the purpose of this study we carried out a survey with 222 elementary school teachers. Main findings of this research were as follows: First, they highly agreed to the increase in class hours and the application of subject classroom, but they had a lower recognition for setting the subject groups. Second, the degree of necessity in discussion and STS was relatively high, but the degree of implementation in science writing, discussion and STEAM was low. Third, in teaching and learning method, they showed a high performance for mutual cooperation, student-led activities and communication, but, a low implementation for open inquiry and instruction considering individual differences. Fourth, in the evaluation of science learning, they showed a high implementation for evaluation based on achievement standards and one based on the understanding and application of basic concepts, but, a low implementation for the development of common evaluation tools. Fifth, it seemed that their recognition for amount, level and interest of science contents and inquiry activities was appropriate and positive.

In Korea, the school mathematics curricula have been revised in every average 6 years by the government. From the year 2013, the new revised curricula called 2009 version are implied. The subject of elementary mathematics in this new curricula contains four issues to be improved. First, it should be allowed to call the basic figures such as box, cylinder, ball, quadrilateral, triangle and circle in verbal languages. Second, the name of the activities to define mathematical concepts should be changed from 'Yaksok', which means 'promise' in English, to a better and more honest one. Third, the concave polygons should be treated together with the convex ones. Fourth, the calculations of fractions should be weakened as much as possible for the elementary school children.

This study focuses on the middle school textbook Technology Home Economics 2, revised in 2009, and aims to analyze the clothing-related contents within the Technology and Home Economics curriculum. All Korean elementary, middle and high school curricula have evolved through a number of changes and repeated revisions from their first versions, and reached their current seventh revised edition in 2009. Over this process, subjects connected to home economics have formed the following structure: Practical Courses in elementary school (5thand6thgrade)and Technology and Home Economics in middle and high school. The curriculum contents of the subjects Technology and Home Economics are divided into Development and Family, Clothing, Dietary Life, Habitation, Home Management and Consumption. Each curriculum teaches the students about its respective contents, e.g. Clothing brings the students in contact with clothing-related matters. Curricula and education methods help students find their own interests during middle and high school. Their school studies determine what majors they are seeking to choose in college and university. There are diverse university programs in Korea that are related to clothing. The above-mentioned textbook deals with clothing in the chapter Eco-friendly Clothing and Mending Habits. The results of this analysis shall help the development of the constantly changing textbook curricula, and furthermore become a reference to middle and high school students who aspire a practical and creative clothing education.

After its decision of 'constitutional nonconformity' about a night assembly on September 24th, 2009, then the Korean Constitutional Court decided the 'limited violation of constitution' saying, 'Even a night demonstration should be allowed to be held up to the midnight' on March 27th, 20104. Since such a decision, the revision of Assembly and Demonstration Act has not been done, and the revised act is currently pending on the National Assembly on October, 2016. Amid the controversy about the 'Legislative Deficiency', some articles of the Assembly and Demonstration Act are revised and created like the imposition of the fine about a ghost assembly and the notice duty of fact to hold an assembly, the police superintendent's recommendation about the assembly place and partitioned assembly holding by time in order to protect the people's basic rights and convenience. However, this revised bill of Assembly & Demonstration Act limits the duty of assembly withdrawal report only to overlapping assemblies and a police superintendent can only recommend about the partition of assembly place and time, but has not a certain authority to forcibly enforce, so it is expected that the recommendation will be eventually ended to a formal procedure. And as this revised act has no punishment article concerning the violation of the notice duty within 1 hour before holding an assembly in this revised act, so there is a problem that the police can't force an assembly to follow the article. This study proposed some political suggestions concerning the articles to be supplemented and corrected in the Assembly & Demonstration Act after analyzing its articles around its 2016 revised Act. The Assembly & Demonstration Act has several problems to be continually corrected and supplemented further including the matter of 'Night Assembly & Demonstration' which is in the condition of 'Legislative Deficiency' since 2009.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the reading materials in 7th curriculum and 2009 revised high school chemistry I textbook for identifying the problems of reading material presented in science textbooks and to investigate science teachers' recognition about utilization reading materials in science textbook. For this purpose, each four 7th curriculum and 2009 revised high school chemistry I textbook were analyzed according to the number of reading materials, the type of contents and the type of students' activities. In addition, the secondary school science teachers' recognition about utilization reading materials in science textbook was investigated. The results were as follows: First, anylizing reading materials in chemistry I textbooks showed that and the rate of reading materials were presented from 7.9 to 17.1% in 7th curriculum and from 20.6 to 28.2% in 2009 revised curriculum textbook. It implies that the rate of reading materials in 2009 revised textbooks increases more than those in 7th curriculum textbook. The result of analyzing the type of contents, 'life sciences' was the largest proportion with 34.3 % in the 7th curriculum chemistry I, but 'enrichment and supplement of knowledge' was the largest proportion with 23.7% in 2009 revised curriculum. Analyzing the type of student activities, only 13% of the reading materials in 7th National Curriculum textbook was found to be inquiry type, but 35% of the reading materials in the 2009 revised curriculum. appears to be inquiry type. It suggested that the curriculum objectives was reflected in the textbook. Second, investigating recognition of teachers' perceptions of utilization science textbooks, 67% teachers responded that they used the reading materials in their science class, but teachers who didn't use the reading materials was almost 33%. A large number of teachers responded that the reading materials associated with the real-life needed for integrated education and thought that the reading materials about 'life and science' should be included in the science textbooks.

Curriculum for mathematic sis the system that selects and organizes the contents which have to be taught in school. Ultimately it can be the whole plan of school mathematical education. The study about curriculum for mathematics is the basic study field of the mathematical education, so curriculum-related studies have been continuously promoted in terms of character, organization and implement of the curriculum, learning contents contained by the curriculum, the connection between school levels, and comparison and analysis of domestic and foreign curricula. Thus, this paper investigated the 2009 Revised Curriculum for Mathematics, which is the curriculum of Korea and the CCSSM which is the curriculum of the U.S. Both have been adopted in schools recently. The purpose of this study is to understand the curricula for mathematics in elementary school of Korea and the U.S. in depth and obtain the implication for the further curriculum revision, by comparing and analyzing the curricula of two countries.
